Inauguration of new organisation was on the books this late January, late afternoon. We were royally entertained and served good finger food, wines and coffee and a company presentation. The interiors looked good, I stayed in this house back in 1994/95 when It was the Europecar building and it's location next to the Power tower where the small road leads into The Old Town is classic ground. Glad see the house and facility put back in order! I will be back shortly to take in more!

My trip in these corona-times got off to a difficult start as my airline kept cancelling my flights (had to change plans 8 times in less than 2 months!) The people at Radisson Group and especially Ms.Monika Svilpe were always so helpful and understanding and tried their best to fix my ever-changing accomodation plans, even offered me an extra night and free breakfast throughout my stay (which wasn't included in the price I had pre-paid!)
Finally when I arrived at the hotel my trouble paid off as I found myself in a very beautiful, totally clean and very organized place, the corner room had lovely views to the park and a part of the old town. Numerous restaurants were a few steps away. Overall a very pleasant and rewarding experience. Really hope I will return to Riga and to this Radisson Hotel soon after the pandemic. A big "thank you" to everyone for making my trip perfect!

Baby crib too small. Breakfast options too few. Everything else very good. Spacious rooms. Cool location. Parking is possible 24 eur underground or 3h per hour in the street. Big bath. Lots of good locations to see.

Radisson group sold me a room in a closed-down hotel (what used to be Astor Riga and became Radisson Blu Old Town Riga after the pandemic) and I realized that fact when I get out of a taxi in front of a closed door of the hotel. When I called by the phone number provided on the door, some clerk told me that the hotel, I was supposed to stay in, is closed down for a long time and I should walk approx a half a kilometer with all my staff to another hotel by Radisson Group. When I asked him why I get this information only when I already have arrived, not before, I got no answer. That's not all my adventures with Radisson. When I managed to get into another Radisson hotel, the receptionist told me I have a breakfast prepaid, but on the third day of staying a waitress on a breakfast told me I should address reception as my name is not on the list. I offered to sign a bill and pay all extra charges at checkout. No way! Even my minibar was empty, to prevent me from using anything during my stay at the hotel. FIVE STARS hotel! RIDICULOUS!!!

Never more!
The worst experience I’ve ever had! For 5 people we have been provided with 4 sleeping places. Booking.com has insured us that 2 rooms will be enough for 2 adults and 3 children. But how it turns out, this Radisson doesn’t care about what Booking says. In the Hotel they say that their policy is not to give any extra-beds. And now one of our 3 kids has to sleep on the floor.

The girl at the check in gave us a standard room while we booked a superior room. Room was even not ready. We had to wait in corridor. Compensation for the room mistake were vouchers for the bar which was closed during our stay. Bed was good. AC was silent. Breakfasts
o had small amount of items. Coffee was delicious, orange juice was not fresh.

We stayed at your hotel Radisson Old Town Riga on August. We had booked an extra bed and the extra bed had been confirmed for us in advance. We made the hotel selection based on the fact that you confirmed the extra bed to us in advance.

When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist told us that there was no extra bed available and that the extra bed reserved for us had been given to another family with a child who needed a bed. As compensation for this, we were offered two drink tickets to the lobby bar. I don't think this makes up for the lost extra bed. When I gave feedback about it to the receptionist, she upgraded our room to a superior room with a wider bed.

Due to the lack of an extra bed, we slept three people in a 180 cm wide bed. Our child is 10 years old and so big that she can no longer fit in the same bed with her parents. Due to the lack of an extra bed, me and my husband were able to sleep maybe 2-3 hours during the night, and I must say that this affected our vacation in Riga very negatively. The operation of your hotel was disappointment and did not leave a good impression. How can you give the reserved and confirmed extra bed to another customer who has not reserved a bed? Fortunately, we got an extra bed for the second night, but it didn't make up for the lost sleep and the bad mood.

Afterwards, I sent a complaint about the matter to the hotel management, but I didn't get a reply to my message at all.

Lovely hotel, as others have said almost perfect location on the edge of the old town, adjacent to the Powder Tower, opposite the park. Stayed for 3 nights in late July 2023. Very friendly welcoming staff, nice decor. Bedroom was large and bed was particularly comfortable, bathroom was very good.

We had not paid for breakfast, but tried it the first morning. This is the only thing negative I have to say about the hotel, as at €18 a head I would say it was well overpriced. The remaining mornings we ate at the local bakery cafe round the corner on the main road to the left of the hotel.

I had a good experience here. It's well-kept and in a good location across from a large park. The room was small but comfortable, and the staff was polite and professional. The bed was comfortable and clean. There is a little vehicle noise, and noise from a tram that passes by every so often. The bathroom has one of those half-shower doors which are somehow popular in European hotels these days - but it means water inevitably gets onto the bathroom floor during use which was a bit annoying. Otherwise, there were a few minor maintenance items due to general use but nothing worth complaining about. Overall, it's a very good option and I would stay here again.
