The hotel is next to amazing river. To walk to the center of the city, you need only about 5 minutes. The access to the spa you need to pay extra if it is not includeed in your room rate and spa need to be reserved forehead. The bed is comfort and room is clean. You have iron, toilet accesories (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion), kettle, hairdryer, sleepers,.. all provided in the room. At the reception is a vending machine and coffee machine that can be used all the time. Rooms are clean and quiet. Staff is nice and helpful. To come from the airport just take the bus 22 infront of the arrival at the airport, the ticket you but at the machine for only 1,5€. The bus stops just infront of the hotel. Just before the arrival you will also recieve an email with all important information for hotel. The hotel is in green key and for cleaning the room you need to put sign on your door each morning. I would recomend to visit.

First a few minor negatives: there is a bit of street noise in the room, but that's the price for the beautiful view of the river and the national library, the beds are a bit too soft, we would have liked more time in the SPA than just 1.5 hours (2-3 hours).
But that's really nothing major, because this was a nice clean and modern hotel, where there was nothing to complain about. We were pleased with many little things, such as: a welcome drink at the reception and in the restaurant, sweets, information leaflets, a locked room large enough to store luggage located right next to the reception, which we could use all day, PS4 rental for the room, a shoe shine machine, clean rooms and the entire hotel, surprisingly tasty breakfast from which everyone chose, a nice panoramic view of the city from the terrace on the 8th floor, a perfect location near the city center and next to everything important (public transport bus and tram stops, bus station, train station, central market, large shopping center), a nice view from the room of the river, but most importantly ... everywhere we met only nice, polite, professional and helpful staff - at the reception, in the bar/cafe, in the restaurant, in the SPA, even the cleaning lady.
This is how we imagine a problem-free vacation. Thank you very much!

Just returned from a 3 night stay here. We had a lovely stay, the temps outside were -7 ish which made for a very snowy weekend, which was magical, the hotel was always toasty and warm though, make sure you take a t-shirt for wandering around to breakfast in as it can get warm in your layers. The staff were great, the breakfast was lovely, always a good selection to choose from. Please don't go to a Baltic country and expect them to provide English breakfast as standard ( although they did some of it ) - we just embrace what we have in every country and there was some lovely unusual breakfast items that we wouldn't have normally tried, so we loved it.
We went in the spa - it was lovely and clean and a nice experience.
The location of this hotel is perfect, its literally on the edge of the Old town but overlooking the river, we got the bus ticket in the airport at the machine and paid for a '90 mins' journey which is perfect as it only takes 20/25 mins - it was only 1 euro 50. It was the number 22 bus and you get off at the stop after the national library. It was super easy from the airport and also getting back.
The old town has lots to see, lots of restaurants and bars, recommend you can have the nightlife if you want it. We did go to the museums and learnt about the history of Latvia, which was really interesting.
The room was great, very toasty warm and the bed was comfortable, we didnt hear anything from the other rooms at all, the bar area is comfortable and staff friendly. All in all this was the perfect hotel for exploring and it was very comfortable for us, would definitely recommend.

I booked the “Twin suite with daily spa” and came to the registration at 7:15 pm. At the reception they said me the spa works till 9pm but I cannot use it, because I had to book my spa visit several hours before and the last time I can enter the spa is 7:30 pm. At the same time they had troubles with specifying me where exactly they have these rules in written. I registered and wend to spa to book the time for tomorrow (as the main reception and spa reception has no communication) and discovered that my “daily spa booking” means I can enter the spa only once for each night booked. So I was not able to have a 30 min sit in their sauna today evening and tomorrow in the morning. Okay. I went to the restaurant and discovered that it has about 10 tables for 2 buildings of the hotel and half of them was already booked. So there simply were no free places. I sat at the bar at 19:40, ordered a Caesar salad for almost €15 and asked to serve me 2 steaks by 20:30 for €34 each with their weight only 180g (the waiter didn’t know its weight, so he had to call to the kitchen). I had to wait for a free table about 30 min. My salad was total Beijing Cabnage which I don’t like (and it was not written in the menu). As my steaks were 30 min delayed, I had to order additional appetizers and by the time I got my steaks I was surrounded by russian speaking people who were very loud, very impolite, some of them very drunk, some of them loudly shouted bad words non-stop. The entrance to the smoking-room is also near the bar, so you will definitely feel the smoke. In general I didn’t feel safe in the restaurant during my dinner and the waiters and the guard didn’t make any efforts to control the situation or the atmosphere in the restaurant.
I asked a glass of tap water and they refused me, saying they can bring only a bottle.
The meal for 2 people cost 200 euro and we were still hungry. The steaks were good, but not the best, served with just a little amount of vegetables.
The personell is friendly but they or badly instructed or too tired to follow the instructions.
The room was ok but the bid bed was consisted of 2 mattresses with 2 small covers, which I hate.
I would definitely never come back to this hotel again

We arrived at the hotel to a glass of champagne and a very polite receptionist. We were informed that our room was being upgraded to a river front room, which was amazing!
The hotel is situated 5 mins away from the old town and offers fantastic views of the river and bridges across Riga.
Spa access and breakfast were both included, the spa was spotless and everything worked as it should, a very relaxing experience. The hotel provided a robe and slippers and also extra towels when visiting the spa.
Breakfast buffet had everything you could want, I opted for fresh waffles with chocolate and caramel sauce. A sparkling wine was also available for breakfast if that is your kind of thing.
Check out was 12pm which is always great, WiFi is also included.
All in all a fantastic hotel, and if we ever visit Riga again, this will for sure be our choice.

Centrally located. Spacious and very comfortable room. The bed was excellent. The staff were so helpful when we couldn't figure out our room temperature and wanted extra pillows. We ate downstairs in the bar area and the cook for this small area is very skilled! I had excellent fish and some of the freshest green beans - like your grandmother just picked them from her garden. I wish my app was working so I could attach the photos I took. My husband was raving about his pork meal too. We ended up eating either a meal or a snack each day of our 3 day stay. This was so convenient after walking on tours all day. The servers there are excellent, and the view of the river as the sun sets with boats going by is very scenic. The breakfast buffet was amazing. There were tour groups from around the world. The choices were plentiful to cater to many tastes. I especially enjoyed the fresh zucchini pancakes and crepes as these are something you would never find in the U.S. The cheese selection would be consider high end and expensive in the U.S. In other words, eating here is a real treat and of the highest European standard. The location of this hotel is an easy short walk to the center of the tourist activity. We were so happy that we chose this place and would definitely recommend this place to anyone we know visiting here.

Location is very good, you are at a river bank (riverside rooms have also river view) but also at the entrance of the old town. Car can be parked 300m away underground garage (20€ a night). You can walk everywhere, f.e. Riga central market, Stockmann mall, local shopping center (including Rimi). Hotels lobby bars food is awesome. Hotel also includes little SPA (if not purchased in advance, then it's 20€ per person) with 3 saunas and a pool (also jacuzzi pool and a little cold one). Overall a very good experience.

Stayed here for a week with my partner for a romantic holiday. The service at the check-in desk was very friendly and we ended up getting our room early without any extra cost. We used the SPA area daily. It was relaxing and the area never felt too crowded. Definitely recommend booking a package with daily SPA access included! We also booked taxi transfer to and from the airport through the hotel, with which everything went smoothly.
The location of the hotel is excellent, many restaurants nearby and all the museums we were planning to visit were within walking distance.

While I enjoyed My stay in the room and the overall service I do need to point out some weak spots and moments of not being valued as a customer. Upon arriving the reception service for Me took longer than for other customers and while I understand, that some of them had completed online registration I'm having trouble believeing that all of them had done it, so it felt at that moment as I was held back on purpose. Moreover on the second day of My stay I specifically didn't put out a sign to clean My room as I was happy with everything and didn't want anything to be touched. The cleaning service still went to my room while I was absent and replaced the barely used towels, took away bathrobes and did not replace them. Upon my return I only found out the missing bathrobes as My spa reservation time was nearing. A call tot the reception solved the problem ofcourse but that incident severely tarnished My overall experience. The breakfast was superb, view from my room was exquisite and overall I would still recommend the hotel to My friends but the bathrobe incident seriously brought down the overall frade of My stay.

No, you need to make sure your booking includes both.
I had to send proof that my booking through a hotel company said that it included both and they said that was fine. But a standard room booking does not include these.
