Excellent hotel, two minutes walk from Dome Square. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Lovely room and amazing breakfasts!
Only downside, if I have to have one, is that the sides of the bath are so high it is very difficult to get in and out.

Small hotel, perfectly located in Riga old town, only steps away from the Christmas market. You can literally walk to most of the sights, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants on the neighbouring streets. I had a deluxe room, which was really comfortable. Fantastic shower, good quality coffee machine, safe, complimentary bottled water and twice daily housekeeping. However, if you have mobility issues, make sure to ask when booking. There were some (7) steep steps in my room, separating the bathroom from the actual sleeping area, and I am sure this can be a cause of concern for some. There are also a couple of steps up from the street. I loved this hotel, and certainly this is where I will stay next time I return to Riga. The one thing I liked slightly less was the breakfast. There is a small continental display, but hot drinks and dishes are cooked to order. The food was fantastic and beautifully presented, but it is a rather formal affair and very different from what you usually see in hotels. If you, like me, like relaxed breakfasts with toast, cereal and endless cups of coffee, this may not be for you. Last but not least, my compliments to the fantastic staff. You were all great but housekeeping deserves a special thank you for keeping the rooms spotless and always greeting me with a smile.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the Dome Hotel in Riga!
We were in Riga to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and the hotel staff went above and beyond to make it an occasion to remember. Upon our arrival, they surprised us with treats and a bottle of fizz in the room to celebrate – such a thoughtful touch that set the tone for our stay.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, taking the time to mark must-visit spots in Riga on a map and even recommending some fantastic cocktail bars. Their local knowledge and personal attention made exploring the city so much more enjoyable.
Breakfast each morning was a highlight – delicious, freshly made dishes served with care. On the day of our city tour, they were kind enough to prepare coffees to go, ensuring we started our day on the right foot. It’s little things like this that make a big difference.
The service, ambiance, and overall experience were fantastic, and we’re already looking forward to staying at the Dome Hotel again in the future. If you’re heading to Riga, this is the place to be – it’s a gem!
Thank you to the wonderful team for making our trip so special.

A charming place to stay in Riga’s Old Town. This boutique hotel was an ideal base for our three night stay in Riga, ideally situated for exploring the Old Town. The hotel is a former Glove Making factory, with remnants of the building’s historic fabric, complimented by its recent decoration giving it a unique charm and character. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast and evening dining was delicious. The tasting menu with wine pairing was beautifully and knowledgeably presented.

Wonderful stay at the Dome. Beautiful room, lovely service, great breakfast and incredible location.
We used the small steam room which was held privately for us for almost 2 hours. We had cocktails on the roof terrace and we took their recommendation on where to rent bikes.
I can’t recommend this hotel enough!

We booked top room. Disappointing. Not all what is presented. Has seen better days. Room was dark. I got a glass splinter in my foot in our room. I told front desk they needed to thoroughly clean/vacuum the room before we went out. We came back and I got another glass splinter in my foot! I complained more vigorously and it emerges someone had a rager in this room and broke a bunch of stuff. I told the hotel to make the room safe. Really poor. Breakfast was lovely. Front desk staff nice. Sauna nice. I am not sure I would stay in Old Town next trip to Riga.

The whole experience. The staff were wonderful, the hotel was so lovely with luxury rooms. The breakfast was delicious and so much choice. The hotel was in a great setting and walking distance to all sites. We got a bus from the airport to Rig €2 and the stop was about 20 minute walk to the hotel. Loved my visit to this lovely city and the people were so lovely

Fantastic location and beautiful old building. Service was warm and friendly. The room 405 was a spacious two-storey room, with French balcony style windows opening on the roofs of Old Town Riga. Modern and clean bathroom with L’Occitane toiletries, which were much appreciated. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts in a long time. Special recommendation for the delicious croissants and fresh pressed juice.

I believe there was a water cooker and tea bags. Having such a well filled minibar, must have been. But, one call to reception and they‘ll bring it up to your room instantly
Dear Staishalev, there are lot of bars in the old city and couple good clubs in Riga like First Dacha, Coyote Fly and Studio 69. Be aware that almost all clubs are ope only on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, so be sure you come on these days to Riga.
There are more places to choose from in the Riga area.
