Easily one of the best and most interesting hotels I ever been! It is located in the center of the most visited area and is set in a former Baron Munchausen's horse stable. The decor is very interesting, modern, but not pompous. Extremely professional and friendly service. Only thing to complain was the breakfast, but we let this one go since we have had great time in Pullman hotel!
The rooms are very comfortable, clean and soundproofed; you can sleep as long as you want without any disturbing noises.

We stayed as a couple for two nights and it was amazing. We had a bathtub in our bathroom and enjoyd it really. As we have travelled quite a lot with our 4 kids in several hotels in Estonia, this had really exquisite breakfast which fulfulled a bacon-lover’s dreams and also pancake and nutella lover’s wishes. The interior in the halls are a bit similar to the Aqva Spa hotel in Estonia (which we also love to visit with our kids). We actually tricked our friends with one picture of the floor hall. :D

The staff was really nice and helpful. As we stayed for two nights, our room was set up in the second day as we were in town. Also, they have a pillow menu, like wow!
Also, as we travelled by car, it was good to park our car behind the hotel in the parking house. 24 hours was 15€, which is quite cheap, taking into account that it is old town and your car is under camera surveillance.
Really do recommend this hotel and I do hope to visit it again.

Great location - friendly & efficient service
Spacious room with good view

Swimming lane (not a pool) too narrow for breaststroke - pity, 50cm extra would be enough.

However breakfast room seemed understaffed and always busy...fried eggs and bacon cold very day :-(

Typical boutique feel hotel with a lot of design touches to the detriment of practicality. I was staying in a standard room with an open bathroom i.e. washbasin area is in the bedroom. There was no space to put any personal items around the washbasin, no hook to hang the towels (it was around the corner with the shower). The hanging area is suitable for only a couple of items so not good really for couples or individuals staying for more than a couple of days. The hotel's style is dark, this might appeal to some travellers, I did not like it. Breakfast service was non existent, no waiters, just one person to tick your room number that is it. The chef had disappear when I was there so no fried eggs available and no one to ask to. Location is fine but Riga is small so all hotels are walking distance from the main points of interest.

Dear CelWa61, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I am very sorry to read that we could not live up to your expectations and the negative experience you have received during your stay regarding the noise and the breakfast. This is certainly not the usual feedback we receive from our Guests. Once again, please accept my apologies. It would be great if you would give us a second chance, that way we would have an opportunity to show you our true attitude. Best regards, Terēze Vecvanaga Room Division Manager

If you're not traveling by car and don't expect 5-star amenities, this is a well-located OK hotel.

We chose this hotel for the SPA option and the ad even promise that room price includes free access to the SPA. Only after booking the room (non-refundable reservation) arrived message that the SPA and the restaurant are closed. I would call it cheating.

Breakfast was a very modest choice. There was a long queue for coffee, as there were only two coffee machines that wanted constant service, but the staff did not do so immediately. Although the hotel was half empty, had trouble finding a free table.

Arriving by car is problematic as you are not allowed to drive in front of the hotel (this is Parliament's security zone).
The car must be left in the paid parking lot on the parallel street and come to the hotel from the back door through the courtyards. This is difficult to understand for the first time.
Parking costs 15 € a day only if you leave the car for the whole day, if you want to use the car in the meantime, parking costs 3 € an hour.

It’s not a bad hotel. Idk why in Tripadviser 3 stars is “average” and 4 is “very good”. I’d rate this hotel “good”. But there was nothing special in it so I chose “average”.

I checked in online, prompted by email from Pullman but this didn’t save me any time at the reception.

I booked a “superior” room. At the online check in I indicated that I’d like “if possible, the quietest room they have”. Ironically, I was first settled in a room on a 3d floor where some sort of electric generator was constantly humming really loud. Based on the fact that you can hear this sound in the corridors, you can hear it in half of the rooms on 3d floor.

I asked to change my room and the hotel staff was very nice to satisfy my request so I was moved to a room on the 4th floor which had no view since there were no windows apart from one little one in the ceiling, but which was really team quiet. However, the electric technician forgot to work on that room apparently, since there was really weird routing of the light switches. For example, lights in the bathroom which is right in front of your bed and has glass walls can NOT be switched off unless you pull out your card to turn off all power in the room. Reading lights by the bed would not switch on. There’s one one socket by the nicely stacked tea shelf with the minibar so make a choice! Either cold beer or hot tea :) this is room 406 if you’re reading, Pullman.

Otherwise it was an ok hotel, nice breakfast, good bed, spacious shower, cool wooden flooring in the room.

P.S.: A LOT of horses in the design. I expected more trains, Pullman ;)

P.P.S.: in my first room (superior!) the washing basin was right next to the bed. Not cool.

A very nice hotel in the hart of Riga old town. Quite new hotel. Very clean. Staff were nice and helpful. Gym, pool and sauna area are small, but has all the basics for nice exercise. Even there were no buffering breakfast offered in June 2020 because of COVID 19, the a'la carte breakfast were very tasteful

I stayed at the Pullman Riga in August. It was a long stay so it's I was able to experience the hotel in almost every aspects.
Rooms: we had a little glitch at arrival (the given room wasn't ready) we were given a "spare" room for the night and the day after we finally checked in what it became the room for the rest of the stay. The entire process was smooth and well organized. The reception staff competent and patient. One note on the room...why on hearth architects think it's fun to have a SINK in the room and outside a proper bathroom this is out of my understanding. Luckily this was just for one night. the rest of the stay was spent in a lovey room with a nice, real bathroom. We had a magnificent bed (by far the very best I slept in hotel) BUT there was no desk in the room. I had to work a couple of afternoon and I had no space to place the laptop. pretty strange for a 5 start hotel.
Internet connection was spotless with a strong signal!
Breakfast buffet lovely!
In general the staff was great! Lovely sauna/ wellness area with plenty of bathrobes and towel to use.
I did not try the restaurant as it was a little bit over budget for us but It looked nice.
tip..ask at arrival for the little Riga magazine with all the info about the city! it was a great help to plan for trips, restaurant and activities.

Could use some renovation, several items a little worn out (hangers for clothes etc), for a 5-star. No thing to throw water in sauna, no iron in room and was not delivered in 20 mins despite promised (could not wait longer). But still very nice hotel.

We stayed in Pullman Oldtown Riga ue to the hotel's 4 th anniversary and it was very enjoyable experience. Very good service, polite staff. nice size hotel rooms, reliable wifi, great sauna and swimpool. Our favorite place was a cigar room on the ground floor, good selection of art works. Hotel is located minutes away from all tourists activities and traps. The only thing I would recommend to change - not so strong parfume near bar. I know it is 'special parfume"of each Pullman but it was way tooo strong.

There is a pool and it is on the top floor in the spa. There are changing rooms. Guests can use the facilities free of charge. Note that the pool is very long and narrow...more aesthetic than for serious swimming. There are sun-loungers (well, probably not much sun at this time of year, but you could relax here and enjoy the views). One wall is decorated with birch branches. Although the hotel is in an old building, the interior has been gutted and re-modelled, keeping some interesting features.

Dear sir, Radisson blu and Pullman are very different. Pullman is much more compact and less standard in its design. I stayed in superior king room which had windows to the inner garden. So no view and another wall close to the window. If possible, request street view. Kind regards, G.
