Stayed for 3 nights bed & breakfast with spouse. After emailing them as it was an anniversary, we got to the hotel and they upgraded us for free to a privilege room, on the 5th floor, with use of the privilege lounge. It was a lovely gesture and surprised us with a bottle of fizz & chocs. Couldn't have asked for more! All the staff were friendly and helpful too. Room was cleaned daily and complimentary toiletries, tea/coffee supplies replaced.
The breakfast was superb with a great choice of cold meats, cereals, cooked breakfast choices. One little gripe was the hot food was not very hot. I am not sure why hotels cannot seem to get this quite right, although the hotel was having some work done to the kitchen I think. Providing a microwave may have been helpful.
Location was 10-15 min walk to the Old Town or you could get the No 1 tram outside the hotel. It was also a few minutes walk to the train station.
I would definitely stay here again as the customer service was amazing and it was a super location.

Room clean and bathroom in an excellent condition and the soundproofing from outside was excellent. The hotel location was ideal for myself being opposite the train station as I needed to get an early morning train on departure. Also it was at the end of the 61 bus route from the airport. While this is not suitable for someone looking for a central hotel there is a tram stop nearby offering frequent services to the center and it is in walking distance. Due to the Covid virus the breakfast was by table service from a menu. No longer a fan of hotel buffet breakfasts but, In my opinion, the table service was much better as the eggs had runny yokes instead of solid ones and the bacon was fresh and edible instead of being rock hard - Accor please take note! The waitress was a star accommodating any variation requests from the menu and made herself always available for any other requests with a smile. Would be my first choice when I return to Bratislava.

Stayed in this hotel few times recently and can mention lots of great experiences. this hotel became a true high level Mercure, now I should say same as in Western-Europe, definetely among top5 in Eastern-Europe. Starting with very good accessibilty, parking possibility and citi center is just few minutes by car or Public tarnsport, stop is in front of the hotel. Reception team is very fast and effective, check-in/out process is exceptional. Fine foods and service in the restaurant, good atmosphere and drink selection in the bar. Breakfest is enjoyable. Rooms are nice, well equipped, clean. Reliable good quality all over, can recommend for business stay or city break as well.

It is my first time at the Mercure Bratislava Centrum hotel, yet I have experienced problems since making my initial booking through Booking.com. Even though I booked a flexible booking, I was promptly charged for my stay. I called the property to inform them I am comfortable to be charged only upon check-in or within the paid cancellation period. They insisted I make a booking directly with them and cancel my initial one, which I did. It then took them two reminders to return the original amount once the first booking was cancelled. Upon arrival, I enquired about the options of an early check-in given my early departure and the booking directly made with the property. I was told I must pay an extra fee to check in 6 hours early and that I already have "a very pleasant fare". The receptionist, Radoslav, also emphasised that the order of my given name and surname listed on the reservation is wrong (even though it was the hotel front desk itself that made the booking). I found both of these remarks demeaning. I also found it confusing to distinguish hotel staff from guests as some employees, including Radoslav, do not wear uniforms. I was told that they can put on a jacket if they feel cold, yet that the casual dress code (a T-shirt) is compliant with the Accor standards. Even though my stay here has hardly started, the front desk has already made me feel unwanted.

Your reservation with booking.com was semi flexible - it must had been prepaid in advance, but the cancellation was possible upon 3 days before arrival for free. Charging the amount is a standard procedure. After refunding you the amount when canceling the initial reservation made with booking.com, we created a new one in our system according to the data given by you in the first reservation. Even though the payment conditions were the same, we charged you only upon check in :) I am sorry if the refund took some time. Standard check in time in our hotel is 2pm. The hotel is very closed to train station in a walking distance. We arrived early and the hotel staff was so accommodating finding us a room to check in that morning. The hotel was generous to provide snacks and beverages for guests members.

This is a great hotel. Clean and organised with great breakfast. We had superior rooms which enabled us access to a lounge which had free soft drinks, teas and coffee etc.
Rooms were services on request. It is a good location, very near to the train station and right next to a key tram/bus stop which gets you into the old town in just 10 minutes. TV had you tube working but not Netflix don’t was useful for background when in the room.

We chose this hotel because it was so close to the train station. It’s a pretty easy downhill walk. We were very pleased with our choice. Our room was very comfortable and cozy. The design was modern and kitschy. The beds were great and the area is quiet. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which was fairly varied but remained the same each day. The hotel is a little distance from most of the downtown sights- about 15 minutes walking, but the location near the main station made it perfect for us. All of the staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here for three nights. We had a slight hitch at check-in but this was rapidly resolved.
The hotel is located about a five minute walk from the main station and about a 15 minute walk from the Old Town. There is a tram stop about 50m from the hotel and bus stops about 150m away.
The rooms were well equipped and spacious. Like most of the hotel, they are geared towards the business traveller although as leisure travellers we found them to be very comfortable.
The breakfast was a fine spread of options enough to rival any hotel and if you can obtain this within your rate it is definitely worth doing.
There was a gym but we did not use it.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and if returning to Bratislava we would certainly consider staying here again.

There is a direct bus n. 61 from the Bratislava Airport in the direction of The Main Train Station (Hlavna Stanica). The final stop of this bus (The Main Train Station) is about 3 min walking distance to the hotel.
