Plus points are service and the balcony seas view.
Downsides - no wifi in room! Doesn't reach the top floor which is madness considering we paid for a better room.
Room has 1 plug socket available. Can

We were really happy with our stay at Hotel Piran. The location is perfect and we were fortunate to get a room in the old part of the hotel overlooking the sea. Piran is so picturesque that we spent all day out- walking the little alleyways, up to the town walls, around the coast

This old hotel sits right on the Adriatic Sea. It is clean, the staff very kind and diligent. When you walk into the lobby it is like looking out of a huge picture window at the Adriatic. Can't say enough about this place!

I am staying in Piran for the whole month of May, and already miss a decent sauna since it is still a bit chilly. I was wandering if Hotel Piran has a sauna or a Turkish bath that may be accessed by people other than the hotel guests and, if yes, how much it costs. Thank you.
Hi, I don't think so there is a spa or sauna in this hotel ... if I remember well there is a kind of wellness/ massage club, but not sure there is a sauna ...

Where to park the car
Everybody, no matter which hotel, has to park their car in the parking garage at the edge of town and then there is a free shuttle that takes you to your hotel. So when you pull up initially, you drop your bags off at the hotel and then they'll direct you to the garage and you park there. The town itself is so small that you can easily walk around it and you only need your car if you're leaving the town.

Is there a bus stop near the hotel for getting to Portoroz ?
Hi, You Have Two possibilities, to walk - there is pa path near the coast. The bus station is about 500 m from the Hotel, but the Hotel shuttle is available for transfer to the Bus station too, and MinniBus from the City center to parking house Fornače drives frequently - on intervals cca 15 min, and passing the Bus station in Piran.

"Ask for a room that faces the sea"
"Sea view is a must, and make sure you get a balcony."
"Some balconies are small - one chair only. Better ones have seating for 4 and table."
"Boo a room with a sea view. You will find its worth the additional cost"
"Recommend higher floor with sea view (unavailable when we stayed)"
