Hotel is through the archway beside Weekend MaxMara, my Google maps sent me to the wrong street. Excellent location, just 30 seconds walk to the Cathedral (pink church) and famous three bridges along with being in the centre of town it has cafes, bars and restaurants on its doorstep. The hotel is in an older building, so there are some stairs but the kind man at reception carried my luggage to the room. There is a kettle and microwave in the residents lounge downstairs, the kind receptionist gave me mugs to take tea to my room (bring your own tea/milk). We had breakfast each morning, it was basic but all we needed; juice, tea/coffee, meat/cheese, yogurt/fruit and toast. Very clean, comfortable firm beds, power shower, fantastic blow dryer for long hair. I would highly recommend this hotel. Massage also available at the hotel

Location is the best part of this hotel! Laundry done for you for €6.50. Breakfast was minimal, lots of places to grab better choices. By mistake , I booked a double room, but twin beds… our room was the size of a cruise ship cabin, but with very little storage. A few hooks in the bathroom , etc would help as except for hanging your towels over the shower door, there’s no where to hang them, including the hand towel. A towel bar under the sink would help with the hand towel. Pillows and bed are very soft, not much support. Very quiet at night. Entrance way could use some sprucing up, flowers pots, planters or window boxes would be an improvement. A bench or table would be a rice touch too. The real reason to choose this hotel is location and price. It can’t be beat for that!

We came as a family of four to this hotel for one night, which you almost walk past on the street, as all the buildings are in a courtyard. We got a family room which consisted of two really large rooms connected by a sliding door. The rooms were clean, modern and had ample storage space.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially when we had a problem with the heating, which was quickly fixed. We booked the breakfast. It was a continental breakfast that was quite enough.
Those who value a beautiful view will not be completely satisfied, as some of the rooms face the courtyard. Otherwise it is absolutely recommended

This hotel is in a fabulous location- just a few minutes from the Triple Bridge and all the restaurants along the river. It is so easy to find your way back to it.
We had a triple room (703) which was located in the courtyard behind the hotel reception. It was a really spacious room with two good sized single beds in the main area and another single separated by a part wall.
The bathroom was a good size too and everywhere was nice and clean.
There is no fridge or kettle in the room and the shower is really odd- it’s positioned on the side wall and only halfway up so you have to hold it to shower yourself. Water pressure was good though and there is also a bath if you prefer that.
We rather liked the fact that you could go to your room without having to go through the reception. It meant it felt really private. Staff were always in Reception though if needed.
We didn’t opt for the breakfast as we preferred to eat on the river but at 5 Euros per head I imagine it’s pretty good value as you would find it hard to get more than a coffee and croissant for that price elsewhere.
Despite the hotel being so central the room was really quiet. It also had effective air conditioning which was greatly appreciated in temperatures of high 20s.
Overall a great choice of no-frills hotel in a location that could not be better. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at Hotel Emonec during our stay July 2023. We spent two nights with a family of three. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast had a good variety of bread, meat , cheese, fruit, yogurt, spreads for bread and cereal. Basic but convenient and good.

The best part is the location literally 50 meters to the main square by the Triple Bridge in old town Ljubljana.

If you want a good value, clean, safe and comfortable hotel in a great location this is the place to go. Reasonably priced.

Brilliant location, central and within a few minutes walk of the triple bridge. We had a big spacious comfortable room for 5. Hotel was great value. Breakfast was fairly basic but reflective of the €5 cost per person. Highly recommended if you are looking for a hotel room in Ljubljana for 5 people.

We booked 3 rooms, all of which were modern in presentation. Clean and with air con which was essential in the 30 plus degree summer heat. Breakfast paid locally at 5 euros per day. Fairly basic but good nevertheless. To improve, room would benefit from tea and coffee making facilities.

Fantastic location, as everything Ljubljana has to offer is on the doorstep. Reasonable price also. I did find the hotel quite dated and old, and I would not say the room was immaculately clean, however clean enough for me to feel comfortable. I paid for breakfast which was €5 per morning, and found the breakfast options poor with limited options available for vegetarian/vegan, and no staff present to enquire. Overall this was a pleasant enough stay for a good price, and I would still recommend anyone visiting Ljubljana to stay here due to the location and reasonable price

The hotel is extremely central and very well situated just behind the main square, so that you are right next to the action but in a quiet enough place that you are not bothered by noise etc. The hotel staff were pleasant at check-in and the room we stayed in was in a separate building just across the road. The room was a nicely sized triple room that was more than enough for the price point. Would definitely recommend!

Great budget option right in the centre. Rooms small but clean and comfortable. Pedestrianised area so quiet at night. Large reception area with helpful staff. Parking in multi-storey 5-10 mins walk away - hotel rate €12 / day. We had a double in the main building, my daughter had a single in the annex which apparently isn’t quite as well furnished.
