My partner and I spent a very pleasant three nights in the double room with River view. The reception was very kind to let us check in just a bit early and the room was comfortable and spacious. The WiFi worked very well. Toiletries and towels provided were adequate and a large standing fan helped us to sleep during a hot weekend. The location cannot be beat for easy access across the city pedestrian zone. The building itself is historic and a lovely place to call home for a few days. Do note it’s more of an apartments setup, with minimal hotel facilities beyond the room - but this was fine with us. Would stay again!

Everything was perfect, from the central location, to the kindness of the staff, to the cleanliness. In the room there is the possibility of making tea/coffee with the kettle, and there is a very useful fridge (and also a microwave). Quiet room. Spacious and very functional room and bathroom, as well as being well modernized

I stayed for 4 nights. Clean, nice room and bathroom, with well equipped kitchenette, very friendly and guest oriented staff. They did warn me via email about reception being on the 3rd floor, and offered assistance with my luggage. I arrived after 9pm and a receptionist was waiting for me as previously arranged. Very good communication beforehand. Overall a very good experience, I will be coming back.

Great location, all the restaurants and bars within a few minutes walking distance. The train station is approx 20 mins walk away also.
Check-in desk is on the 3rd floor, the staff were lovely and welcoming. Room was cleaned again after the 2nd day. Room lovely modern and fresh as is the Bathroom. Massive flat screen TVs, fridge and microwave also in the rooms and great views of the river. I would staff here again and give it 5stars.

Worst experience ever! Small bed, no comfort at all Dirty bathroom with fungus in shower Nina (so called manager) is not flexible nor client oriented! A reception desk on the third floor…. Only stairs so you have to carry luggage all the way up! No parking, closest one is at 500m!

The location is superb. Step out and walk along the river past countless restaurants. Be aware that you need to walk/ carry luggage up 3 flights of stairs. The reception helped carry one of bags up though. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 4 which had plenty of space. There didn't appear to be an air conditioner but there was a heater. We needed neither.

Amazing place. We stayed in Unit 4 which was newly renovated and very nicely designed and decorated. It was a very large space enough to comfortably fit 2 or 4 people. The bathroom was the largest I’ve seen. Good water pressure. Location was excellent, only a 5 minute walk to town. You will not be disappointed!!

Very beatiful and affordable hotel, the staff was very welcoming and nice and the room was very clean and spacious. Luxurious and big bathroom with two sinks and a walk-in shower. The room showed a great view of the river Ljubljanica. The location is perfect since the city centre is a minute-walk away from the hotel. They did a great job incorporating a modern hotel in a historical building without damaging or changing the exterior.

The hotel is located on the river bank opposite the castle so the front windows have a great view. It is the very southern end of Ljubljana's old town (if you plan to walk from the railway/bus station, it is 20 minutes away) but the old town is so small that wherever you are, everything you need is just a few minutes away on foot (no car access to most places anyway). The hotel is located in an old building which adds to its charm.

Pros: Clean room with very large bathroom, equipped with what you need for a short comfortable stay. Staff amichevole. At the beginning of the pedestrian center, with parking very close (motorcycle park 20 m on the street). With: Third floor without elevator, no air conditioning with double windows (outside in poor condition) that do not invite you to use them, and shower that floods the bathroom floor with each use because of the non-existent shower tray that lets water out of the box.

Dear Sir/MAdam,
Galeria River is located on the 3rd floor of a historic landmark, so unfortunatelly there is no elevator.
However the staff is more than glad to help every guest with luggage and baby strollers.
For any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask!
Kind regards,
Galeria River
