Hotel not large in size but with a very refined appearance with spacious and very modern rooms, equipped with all comforts. Check in was quick and efficient with also some very good recommendations on places to visit and restaurants. Furthermore, the hotel provides an excellent buffet breakfast complete with both sweet and savory dishes. It is located a short distance from the center, reachable on foot in a few minutes. It has paid private parking which is very important given that there is not a large availability of parking spaces nearby. Friendly and helpful staff.

Had to wait a few minutes for the rain to stop before we walked the three blocks to the Atelier Hotel from the bus station. Had to pay cash for our room and breakfast as they do not take credit cards. Hard to believe in this day and age. Had to walk up six steps from ground level to enter the hotel. Our room was on the first floor a short way from the front desk. Large wood paneled room with king bed. Nice desk with a small table lamp and one outlet. Only one built-in luggage rack so we had to use the round table for 2nd bag. In-room safe was in the bottom of the closet. Had to get on your hands and knees to use, not much thought used there. Had to put room card in slot to make lights work. Push button electronic light buttons at entrance to room and entrance to bathroom. Lights blinked on and off a couple of times during the night. Bathroom had a nice walk-in shower and they provided two each body wash and shampoo, no conditioner or body lotion. Plenty of room for toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was four cereals, meats, and cheeses, fried or
scrambled eggs with bacon or hot dogs, rolls, yogurt, and coffee . The orange juice tasted awful, but within use date.

Great hotel just 6/7 minutes walk from the triple bridge. Possibility of internal parking (for a fee). Spacious, modern, spotless rooms and spacious bathroom complete with products. Friendly and multilingual staff. The access seems a little cramped but it's a trivial criticism. The elevator is missing but the only upper floor is easily reached with a single wide staircase. The hotel only accepts cash payments (no credit cards).
Good breakfast with decent choice of sweet and savory. Welcome gift on departure.

I was refused a room despite having paid for it. The hotel does not offer payment by card, and as I had no cash, it was offered by the receptionist that I could pay by a bank transfer, which I accepted. I sent the money on Friday morning and following the instruction from the home which was: "When the payment is done please do send us the payment confirmation.".
I sent the confirmation from the bank and since then have not received any feedback from the hotel until Saturday afternoon, when I was already on the way to the hotel. The message, by phone, was that the room for some technical issues would not be available. I accepted apologies understanding that this might happen and asked for a refund of money which I have paid in cash. Then it all started. The request was at first accepted, and then rejected. Later, the reason for the rejection was that the hotel has not received the transfer yet. Finally, I managed to speak to the manager from whom I heard that he did not know me, therefore did not trust me, and that I could have prepared a fake confirmation from the bank, because this is how people would behave like. When I said that I was going to report it to a hotel organisation in Slovenia he said, laughing, that I can do whatever I want.
On the positive side I may say that in this situation I received support from the receptionists trying to help me find another location at short notice, and that I have received a full refund with no delay. Which I never doubted.
Still, considering the level of mistrust, insunuations, the stress involved and not keeping the original agreement by the hotel (bank confirmation), I would never recommend booking a room at Atelier.

I had a lovely stay at Atelier Hotel! It is well located, within walking distance from the center, with a very practical parking lot. The beds are comfy, the bathrooms large, and more importantly the staff is very very kind and helpful. There is a nice atmosphere, good wifi, the rooms are clean and well decorated, and the breakfast is cheap and plentiful. Best price to quality ratio I've ever had, I think, and I would 100% recommend it!

This is a boutique hotel that appears to have been converted from a local apartment building into hotel rooms with limited changes to the design/layout of the place. Service is good. Breakfast has limited selection and is located in a crowded small room. Rooms are modern and renovated yet small and don’t have all the conveniences of a recently renovated space (i.e., extra plugs for phones, computers, spaces for suitcases, etc). No parking is provided at the hotel; however, cars could be parked on the street with a 2 hour limit during the day (although very difficult to find a spot) or in the garage for a fee a few blocks away. We booked hotel online with a deferred payment arrangement and didn’t realize until it was booked that the hotel doesn’t accept credit cards and only accepts cash (be aware!). Hotel halls have an appearance of a hostel with a limited common space but clean.

Bad service. In the afternoon at 19 we realized that a light in the room didn't go out. We asked reception to fix it but they were unable to do anything. They didn't change our room. We had to stay all night without electricity in the room to be able to sleep, without the possibility of recharging our electronic devices.

Walls way too thin, it was like trying to sleep in a brothel! We tried to tell the front desk but the noises just continued. The staff was friendly, but with other clientele why would you want to risk a whole night's sleep? Not worth it here, even at the cheap price

The hotel is OK and not too far from the central pedestrian area so it’s walkable or a short taxi ride. Be sure to reserve parking if you need it…it’s essential. Rooms are decently outfitted with a convenient desk. The available breakfast is better than the average. Staff is welcoming and helpful. There are several minor inconveniences: no credit cards-cash only (there is an ATM in the lobby), the room safe is on the floor-hands and knees to reach it, the TP dispenser is a rod on the floor rather than a roller on the wall-why? This is not an elevator building so getting a heavy bag to an upper floor might be a challenge. There are some main floor rooms but they can be noisy since reception is there.

Fantastic location and great hotel. Breakfast amazing (went each morning at 7am so didn't experience any queues). Only knocking off 1 point due to the cash requirement - and had to pay on arrival on the first day. There is a cash machine in the lobby to use if needed. Probably choice of room important as I'm sure there would be noise near the breakfast room. I was in room 111 on ground floor and heard a bit of noise outside in the carpark side but I'm a light sleeper. There was a bottle of water given free each day which was great.
