Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Although this hotel was a little out of town, we didn’t find this a problem We caught a taxi (6euros)into the city and walked back It was perfect for driving to our day trips to. Lake Bled and the caves. Parking was easy and free The staff were helpful The apartment was clean and comfortable The breakfast was good Limited selection but tasty We would recommend staying here

Hotel that fully deserves its 4 stars, new, very nice furnishings and bathroom, with all the comforts and quiet, internal parking, very helpful staff and exceptional breakfast rich in both sweet and savory, with the possibility of a self-service coffee/coffee machine. cappuccino/chocolate. We also really appreciated the kettle in the room with herbal teas, chamomile and coffee. Truly recommended. The way to the center can be done on foot (very safe roads with both cycle and pedestrian paths) and perhaps the return by taxi at the fixed rate of 6 euros, which has an agreement with the hotel. If you want to use the car to go to the centre, we recommend parking at Park Tivoli for 0.80/hour, about 2.5 km away.

If I had to go back I would stay here again. For those who have a car, I don't think there could be a better option. Parking inside the hotel is very good and free!
Great breakfast! Plenty of variety and warm bread that seemed to have come out straight away.
The person who served us when we arrived was very kind and gave us great tips, including a restaurant with local food in a beautiful location that wasn't expensive. The facilities were also new and comfortable.

A disappointing experience. The room was nice and clean, but the bathroom was another matter, the light was useless - no matter whether you wanted to shave or put on makeup, you could not see what you were doing. And the makeup mirror was impossible to use unless you were very tall. And what is a bidet doing in the bathroom, why isn’t it in the toilet room???
The restaurant that is advertised doesn’t exist, the only place you can find something to eat is the overpriced lounge bar. The room service menu is that of the same lounge bar, which means that you can’t just have a sandwich or something else light.
They say that for hygiene reasons you can’t take a cup of coffee and any food from the breakfast buffet to your room, I wonder where you eat if you were to order room service ??
The staff were somewhat patronising, close to being rude.
The hotel is not at all what it pretends to be, or would like to be.
I won’t be staying there again

The best thing about this hotel were the staff, they all were extremely attentive and helpful. Thanks to the guidance and information available we were able to enjoy our week’s holiday in Ljubljana.
We did walk into the city on our first day but it took us about 40 mins alongside a busy road. Perfectly safe but not enjoyable. For the rest of our week we used the number 9 bus. The bus stop is only a 10 min walk away and the bus runs regularly from the Park and Ride to the city centre and bus station. The bus stop is called “Pot na Rakova Jelso” A single trip cost 1.30 Euros.
We arranged our Airport transfers through reception, cost 33 Euros each way. Taxi to City centre cost 6 Euros and to Bus station 8 Euros. Cost of taxis can be added to room bill which works well.
Easy to visit Lake Bled and Kranj from the bus station and we hired a car to visit Kranjska Gora and Lake Bohinj.
Don’t be put off by the distance from the City centre as it is easy to reach by bus or taxi.
Thanks again to the staff for their assistance during our stay.

The staff is not friendly, although in Slovenia it is serious but here they make bad faces at you.
One day they didn't clean the room because they forgot, they only gave us new towels since there was no cleaning staff in the afternoon.
I understand that the buffet in those places is not that varied but this one really had very few options or they ran out of food and they didn't put any more, plus the fruit was in bad condition.
They have little staff and this is reflected in the fact that the same person serves at the bar, is the waiter and is the one at reception.
I have been in small hotels and sometimes the treatment is more personalized and they make you feel more comfortable, in this hotel they are only interested in you checking in and paying.

Very good! Friendly welcome, cozy rooms, free parking, full and delicious breakfast.
Mind you, they don't have a restaurant, and the hotel is about 2 miles from town. If you don't have a car, you will have to walk the distance or take a taxi. Tip: arrange the taxi through the hotel or take a City Taxi, then you pay a 'fixed' amount, otherwise there is a chance that you will be charged. Like us on our first day.. we paid 2/3 more than the normal amount.

We chose this hotel as a base for a holiday in Slovenia. Excellent choice, easily accessible, outside the city center but can be reached comfortably by taxi at a cost of €6 each way. The breakfast is good, varied and tidy. extremely kind and smiling staff, clean rooms, I recommend the triple room for three people as the twin room with additional bed is a bit small. Thank you for your hospitality.

We were impressed with this hotel, small in size but with excellent facilities. Breakfast is delicious, varied but refined (continental). You can also have breakfast at the tables outside. The cleanliness is very scrupulous, the rooms are new and comfortable. The location in my opinion is great because it is located outside the center of Ljubljana but it is convenient to reach the city in a few minutes (it is a city where parking even in high season is simple and inexpensive) and also to other tourist resorts nearby, enjoying free parking within the structure.

Our accommodations were absolutely perfect. Availability for 3 traveler’s single beds was really helpful for us, the rooms very clean and smelled very good. The hotel staff were so kind to us and last minute adjusted for a late check in because our train got severely delayed. The free breakfast was also very good and had lots of offerings, beyond a typical hotel breakfast (even ones we paid for!)

There are some rooms that resemble to appartments at ground floor. They have easy access as you dont need to use the elevator nor the stair case. Morover, the restaurant can be found at the same floor. I hope this helped

Hello, in premium rooms they have tea and coffee maker. Ljubljana is a small city, you can go around the sights in a day. I don't remember if I have seen any hop on hop off bus. The evenings at river bank are awsome!
