Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My wife and I stayed here when I attended a NATO conference this past October. While it is by no means the most elegant hotel you will ever stay in, it was more than adequate in so many ways. Sure, the rooms were a little antiquated in furniture and décor, but the bed was comfortable and the maid service kept it very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and more than willing to provide recommendations on restaurants and things to do. The breakfast buffet was amazing with the waitstaff going out of their way to accommodate your every desire. One particular individual made a point to bring us special food items. I think he was Italian and maybe named Siecko. Two other individuals who were of great service were Robert and Christian. Their English was superb and their knowledge of the area was very helpful. The hotel is near Lake Bled and most of the restaurants are within a short walk. The wifi was very good with no connectivity issues. While we never used the spa or pool, we made a point to see what they looked like. We were impressed with what we saw. My wife and I also loved the artwork throughout the hotel. It was definitely unique. Another great attribute was that parking was free and there was plenty of it. I definitely recommended staying here if you visit the charming city of Bled.

The staff are really lovely. I was with a group, so we had a buffet breakfast and dinner - really good value. However, the proper restaurant menu looked quite pricey, though possibly still good value for money. The rooms are spacious and many have lovely views. All the staff seem to speak very good English.

Stayed in a recently refurbished room - clean, comfy bed and air con. The room was at the back of the hotel (requested due to reviews of the loud church bells in the night) and didn't have balcony but did have large windows that open all the way giving a spacious feel. We didn't hear a thing at night and slept very well. Breakfast was excellent - great choice, fresh and high quality. The wellness and spa facilities made for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay.

We stayed here for 2 nights, the reason for 3/5 is that even though the hotel was half empty they put guests room next to each other. Soundproof is really bad. We could hear neighbours TV so even we were surronded by nature where it should be quiet I had to use earplugs so I dont hear noise from TV. Bathroom is too small. Breakfast was good and spa center was amazing. For this amount of money we stayed in better acomodations.

From the outside and the communal areas looked very modern. However the rooms were a bit dated. There were lots of little holes in the curtains, the shower was small when we bent over or moved around it would turn off (we’re only small too!) and there was no fridge in the room it looked like it had been removed from the cupboard.
We were disappointed our stay did not include access to the outside area with the jacuzzi and sun loungers. We would have had to pay £10 extra per person just to sit on the sun lounger. When I asked about this they said it was an option when booking however on hotels.com this was not the case. Just disappointing when the pictures of it are all over the booking sites which makes it look like it’s included. It’s also not open until 2pm.
We had mixed experiences with the staff. When asked where I may be able to buy a bag as mine broke they said there was no where in bled however I found a big shop called bags and more 5 minute walk away! Same man said to take a seat when we wanted a drink from the hotel bar. We waited for ages and he just kept talking to another member of staff and there was no one else in sight so not sure how it works with getting drinks at the hotel. When I asked about filling my bottle of water up he said just use the bathroom tap. However the young girl at reception was helpful and went out her way to the restaurant to fill it up for me.
Breakfast buffet good. Was okay value for money. Good location.

I booked for a room with balcony. When i got my access cards, reception gave me a room with no balcony. Then I informed them they just changed it- no apologies, no acknowledgement it was a mistake, ok fine. Then they put me on a room with balcony on the 2nd floor (in Slovenia this is 1st floor. The room looks very dated, carpet got stains, curtains got holes, toilet seat got cracks. There is also no aircon since it is autumn. But it could be warm when you close the sliding doors. I really don’t feel comfortable if the sliding doors are open when you are sleeping unless these are windows. Since I am at the 2nd floor, the balcony is not technically a balcony because someone could just walk in through your balcony. I requested the reception it I could change rooms even with no balcony at the 3rd or 4th floor but he said all are fully booked. When i checked the availability on Astoria’s hotel website there are so many free available rooms- so I dont know if he is just lazy or doesn’t really care. I stayed here for 4 nights - I have no choice but bear with it since it is prepaid. Happy to leave. I initially booked Hotel Park , should have stayed there. There are actually better hotels nearby of same price and higher quality/ service. I love Slovenia and the service I got in Bled overall but this hotel is a letdown

Dated, old rooms. Curtains have holes. Toilet seat has cracks. No aircon

The hotel is in an excellent position, in 2 minutes on foot you can reach the lake. The breakfast is good and plentiful with plenty of choice between sweet and savory. The rooms are decent, the cleanliness of the room less so. The hotel is clean and tidy. I tried the spa in the wellness area, good and clean, the girls in the wellness center were attentive and kind. Massage ok.

I absolutely loved this hotel, it was a complete bargain for what we paid. Within a few minutes walk of the lake and literally opposite key attractions such as Zipline Dolinka.

The room we were given was fantastic - really big and the beds were so comfy. Staff also can't do enough for you whether it's recommendations on where to go, taxis, helping with luggage on the last day etc. We could have stayed for longer!

The spa is amazing and so good after a day of walking, the only downside being you can only visit once for free. I wish it was included within the stay but this does help it not be so crowded. It's really worth visiting, including saunas, pools, outdoor jacuzzi and even a cold plunge and body scrubs.

Breakfast was okay IMO, not super varied but enough to fuel you for the day ahead. The staff were always so lovely.

Good hotel, but with some drawbacks.

- Nobody bothered to notify us about renovation works on our floor right against our door.
There was a garbage left from the previous guests.
- They charged city tax during check-out even though taxes are included in the payment made online (according to payment details).

+ Freshly renovated room.
+ Endlessly delicious breakfasts with divine pastries.

Nice hotel with a few remarks.

+ fresh renovation in the room
+ endlessly delicious breakfasts with divine pastries

- a small, uncomfortable sanitary unit whose door opens inwards
-no kettle in the room, only coffee machine
- garbage from previous guests remained in the room during check-in
-During our stay there was a renovation of the rooms, but the staff did not warn or apologize. As a result, birthday morning began at 8:30 with the sound of a puncher. It was very unpleasant.
- it was necessary to pay city tax at the hotel, although the booking conditions stated that it was included in the booking

Hotel T.O.P. in Bled.
Convenient location close to the promenade, comfortable environments, excellent quality/price ratio.
The breakfast buffet is rich.
We were on motorbikes and they let us use the covered garage for free.
We recommend it
