The Warsaw Marriott Hotel is celebrated for its excellent service and central location, offering stunning city views, particularly from the higher floors. While guests commend the tidiness of the rooms and the diverse breakfast options, there's a consensus that some of the rooms, particularly the bathrooms, would benefit from modernization. The atmosphere is generally praised, yet some travelers feel the value proposition is diminished by the hotel's overpricing and unexpected charges. Despite its convenience to local attractions, a few guests note it's a bit of a trek to the Old Town.

All the old traditional 5 star hotels should be downgraded to 4 stars unless than can keep up their standards to match today's 5 star hotels. I only stayed here as my flight was changed and the hotel I was originally booked into (the Sofitel) was fully booked. Since I wanted to go to the Panorama Sky Bar on the 40th floor anyway I decided to spend a night here.

There was only one girl at reception who told me that as a Marriott Bonvoy member she had given me an upgrade but it wasn't a real upgrade, it was just a room on a higher floor, the 33rd one. I walked into the room and it smelled really musty. You could definitely see the age of the hotel but the bed and armchair with footrest were comfortable so once I got used to the smell it was alright.

I had to work online all afternoon and wanted room service but the phone was dead. I tried calling the hotel from my mobile phone but no-one answered so I went down to the restaurant on the 2nd floor myself to place my order. Luckily they took my order quickly and delivered the food very quickly too. The room service waiter was also really good and I got the service I expected from a 5 star hotel.

In the evening I went down to the basement gym and pool run by Holmes Place to which guests have free access. It's open from 6am to 11pm during the week and 8am to 9pm at weekends. Since there was a babies' swim session on Saturday morning the pool had been heated up which was nice but a huge chunk of the pool is cut off by two jacuzzis at the shallow end so it wasn't great for swimming lengths especially when you swim up to one of the jacuzzis and a couple is seriously making out in it. They obviously didn't have a room at the hotel!

The gym was alright with most of the equipment you need but it seemed a bit old and the cardio equipment was squeezed together. It didn't exactly inspire me to come back but since I'd just spent 5 weeks at the Four Seasons in Tunis with their excellent and spacious gym to myself, I was a bit spoiled.

I went up to the Panorama Sky Bar alone at 9pm and was taken up to the top which wasn't as nice as the first floor but the hostess told me she only had a space at the bar despite me having reserved a table. The banquette I sat on was really uncomfortable and the music was far too loud. I had a Royal cocktail with champagne, Chambord black raspberry liqueur, lemon and home-made citrus bitters for 69 zl. I had prawn tempura for 65 zl and somehow managed to get sauce all over myself. I left and after getting changed went to the bar at the Raffles bar which was more my style.

The next morning I went down to the second floor for breakfast and saw that they had taken appropriate Covid measures with a lot of servings of food in individual glass jars.

I would only stay here again if the price was good compared to other places.

Located right across from Warsaw Central Station and the iconic Stalinist architectural vestige of the Palace of Culture and Science, this is a very good hotel with affordable prices in the center of town. The train station is right across the street, Uber/taxis are readily accessible here, the Palace of Culture and Science is right across the street, and in general it's walkable to restaurants, the mall/grocery stores, and a host of other options. Staff was helpful and the rooms, although somewhat dated, were clean and comfortable with many having great views of the city and the Palace. Breakfast spread was good, there's an executive lounge, casino, and some good restaurant options and the lobby is attached to a small mall area with shops, restaurants, and massage parlor. Great stay.

Even though I stayed just one night in Warsaw Marriott Hotel, it was good enough to have deep impression. The hotel is located in good central, for travellers to start sightseeing on food. The scale of hotel is big and staffs are all well trained and professional. (Even though I can not know the name, the staff who assisted me through Bonvoy chatting app was very helpful and thankful)
I was also satisfied with the room condition. The quality of the club lounge and restaurant for breakfast was also very satisfying. For Warsaw, the hotel is highly recommended.

We stayed for several days in one of the junior suites on the upper floors of the Marriott. Although everything was clean and comfortable, little seems to have been updated on the inside in the last 20 years. From old furniture, the poor layout and lighting of the rooms, the absence of light in the shower and only dim overhead light in the bathroom, it all felt very 1990s, at best. The electrical outlets were scarce, with no USB ports or other electronics to control lighting or temperature in the room. None of it made the stay uncomfortable, and the staff was more than welcoming.
We had access to the M Club, which was an Oasis throughout the day. Much more modern than the room we stayed in, always coffee and other drinks, and the sandwiches and menu items were quite tasty. It's well worth the additional expense.
The sports club and pool in the basement are unfortunately very popular with non-hotel guests and both crowded and busy. We had hoped to use the pool but decided not to in the end.
The best part were the views from the Sky Bar. The atmosphere was great, extending over two floors, there were both open areas and more cozy corners. The selection of small dishes typically hit the spot and the drink selection, including non-alcoholic cocktails, was very good.

Overall:
A standard Marriott Hotel. Check in was a little slow. We had to wait for 30 mins for our suite. However it is very strategically located. The Warsaw Central Train station (for inter city trains etc) is just across the street. PGE stadium is about 6 stations away via the Tram which you can take at the tram station in front of the hotel. Very easy to access to public transportation or to get a taxi. Uber is available in Warsaw.

Suite & Bathroom:
High floor corner suite with a spacious bathroom.
Room was a little dated but it was very clean. Good sleep and you don’t hear much noise even though you’re right next to the main road. However the shower stall feels a wee bit unstable with the type of material they used for the flooring. There’s NO BLINDS in the washroom which was bizarre as everyone can see you when your light is switched on at night. I must say this was the first for us to encounter such a design.

TV & Wifi:
Most of the TV channels only speak Polish so you are best to view news if you’re needing English channels. Wifi works well.

Breakfast:
Limited choices but you’ve an egg station to order omelette or other style of eggs to your own liking. The restaurant serve amazing fresh smoothies. Those were my go to each morning. You can add the breakfast package ahead or you can purchase it daily for 120.00 zlt per person.

Pros:
Location:
Hard Rock Cafe and mall within 10 mins walk.
Lots of food options around the area.
Palace of Culture and Science building is right across the street.

Cons:
Skybar at the top so you will bound to see plenty of visitors roaming the hotel elevators. It can be like a party house.

Tips:
High floors to avoid noise
Choose room view facing the Palace of Culture and Science. Iconic building.
Post office at the main train station if you’re needing to send a postcard.

Wow!!! What a gorgeous hotel!!! The staff is so kind and welcoming. Rooms are a good size. Downstairs bar was very nice. If you want to go to the Sky Bar on the 40th floor, please book a rsvp well in advance. We could not get one as it was all booked. Room service was great, however, we thought the apple pie was disappointing. The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff working there was very accommodating. We will definitely be coming back here as we pass through Warsaw!!!

This hotel is one of the oldest one in Warsaw and is one of the best place where to stay... the team is partially the same since 15/20 years and they really take care with professionalism of their duties. Is one of the few places where i experienced a truly sense, spontaneous real sense of service...

This hotel is very centrally located - right opposite the main train station and with multiple buses and trains passing by. I was very pleased that I could check in early, which I was told is quite usual as the hotel has so many rooms. Everything worked in the hotel, and usefully there was an American socket as well as one for Polish devices. The rooms are on the higher floors of the building so have cool city views. The breakfast buffet was good. The one thing I didn't like was that on at least two nights my room was not cleaned until after 5pm (when exactly I am not sure I was out in the evening). The elevator system requires you to tap your card to get to your floor and this was also a bit annoying.

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for choosing Warsaw Marriott for a place to stay in Warsaw and for taking time to share your impressions with us. It's a pleasure to find that you liked our product, and the stay met your expectation. The elevator system is set that way so as to prevent an unauthorized access to floors. We hope that it contributes to Guests' security. We apologize that you seemed to be waiting for HK service to take place longer that you could expect. It is carried on according to a schedule, but sometimes we cannot follow it through the way it was planned, as we try to follow Guests requests and meet their schedule for service. Looking forward to hosting you again whenever your travel plans will bring you to Warsaw again.

The location is in the city center of Warsaw, near the main train station, very accessible, walking distance to the mall, restaurant and shop. The room itself was spacious, the hotel staff are approachable, know how to speak good English. The things I don’t like, the bed is old and uncomfortable to sleep. The breakfast buffet is not good, limited selection of food, 4 kinds of bread, some eggs, oats, cereals, nothing special.

It is suppose to have 5 stars but services such as spa, swimming pool or gym are out of order not because of covid. Reception blocked my room key on purpose even though it had credit card guarantee but was not paid entirely before the check in. My family at that moment was staying here from more than one week with the suite and premium room. They do not clean the rooms unless it is requested in advance by the client and explain that it has something to do with the covid , but please don’t ask me what. I have even ordered a dinner the night before and the next day when I arrived at 23 the dirty dishes were still on my table. The reception does not respect guests and have mistaken my surname on the reservation- when I asked them kindly to change it they said that it is fine and that I should use my mistaken surname as a login to the internet. Even though the prices are very high it seems that the Internet is not complimentary. You ha d to directly ask reception for the special key code or you pay - they don’t inform you that it could be given fee of charge therefore I assume that they count on the possibility that will pay extra. I definitely do not recommend the stay at this hotel as it is totally not worth the money you will spend and both infrastructure and the service have absolutely nothing to do with the 5 stars standards.
