A hotel in the heart of the city, with a private, paid parking lot, which is its undoubted advantage. The most attractive places in Gdańsk are just a few steps away. Close to means of transport. Despite this location, peace and quiet - even during the first days of the Dominican Fair. Staff very polite and helpful. Double room: large, comfortable bed (although, as in most city hotels, unfortunately combined), quiet corridor, coffee and tea set, daily cleaning, with emphasis on environmental responsibility - BRAVO!, breakfast - standard hotel buffet with dairy products and cold meats , eggs in various forms, vegetables and fruits, cereals, something sweet. Coffee from an espresso machine.

On arrival at 1am we were greeted by a lovely friendly reception girl. Our room was great ... quite big .. very clean and 2 bottes of complimentory water. They had even remembered that it was my birthday and there was a lovely message on our bedtoom table. Because I had a bad leg they had sorted our room out to help me. Breakfast was brilliant and included : boiled & scrambled eggs ..sausage..bacon..mushrooms..vedge..various cold meats ..various cheeses..various salads..various pickles..cakes..fruits including melon..yoghurt.. honey..toast..various buns/breads and much more .. BRILLIANT The hotel is in a great location and is 5 mins walk or less to the river/restsurants/bars/shops etc. A lovely Hotel and I would highly recommend. Well done to ALL the team at the Admiral Hotel.

The Hotel Admiral is a lovely hotel that is perfectly for Gdansk Old Town which is about 10 minutes walk away. The area has plenty of historical buildings and wonderful restaurants that will appeal to any traveller. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with good size bathrooms and excellent Wi-fi. The breakfast restaurant served a variety of both continental and Polish breakfast foods with great coffee. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful with a 24 hour Front Desk staffed by lovely people who all spoke fluent English. I would most definitely stay again!

We were so not satisfied with our stay at hotel Admiral. The first room we got had so bad beds that gave us another room. They were so hard and in bed had like a hole in the middle of the madras. In the second room we got a queen size bed and it was without a hole but it was old and hard. We both had back pain after three night sleeping there. We chose hotel Admiral because we wanted high standard but it was far from that. It is not a 4 star hotel. We booked a room with air condition but it didn’t work. We ask in the reception and we got the answer that you have to ask for them to turn it on. There were no information about this when we checked in. But after they turned it on we understood why. The air condition sounded like a lawn mower and the sound got louder and louder so we had to call the reception and they turned it off. So the room was warm and smelled musky. The breakfast was ok if you came early. After 9 everything is out and the staff is not fast with putting out new food or refill the juice. We complaint about everything and got no compensation, which is unacceptable because we payed over 650 euro for three nights!

Arrived at the hotel to the pleasant receptionist. The room was incredibly clean and nice.
Since it was my birthday, I received a box of sweets and greetings from the hotel. Very cozy. Felt very welcome.
We stayed in room 405. Right above the entrance. Only a few steps from the river and the promenade there with lots of life. Still, so quiet and good to be here.
The room was cleaned properly, topped up with coffee and bed linen and towels changed.
Very quiet in the hotel even though there are quite a few people here.
Would definitely recommend this hotel in this lovely city ❤️

We stayed in room 101A for 3 nights. The room was very much as expected. Clean, spacious and quiet.
The staff was very serviceminded.
We didn't eat at the hotel, but the restaurant looked nice.
Shower in bathtub.
There's a sauna in the basement. We didn't use it, but the staff offered to turn on the heat if we gave them a notice in advance.
The hotel's located in the old town centre, close to everything.
Ordinary taxi from the airport was 70 zloty (tips included). If you use Uber/etc., it's cheaper.

This hotel is located very central, you can walk to everything. Nice big rooms with free coffee and bootled water, good wifi, nice TV, nice bathroom and good AC.
Breakfast very nice, and frontdesk staff excellent. Checkin and checkout fast and professional.
The only thing here which have room for improvement is the bar in the cellar. We tried it both nights we stayed there. The bar itself is very cozy, and the lady worked there both nights was very nice. She did a great job, very nice, smiling and professional.
But it did not help when you are out of tap beer, and you also had a very limited choice of bottled beer to offer instead. Out of tap beer in a 4 star hotel both nights, how is that even possible ?
You also had the dink "Mojito" in the drink link, Maybe the most popular drink in the world. But you could not make it, since you dont had minth available. Same both nights. Strange.
The drinks and beers were priced high compared to the other places we tried, but this is a 4 star hotel, so fine, But we then at least expect the bar to have one beer on tap and be able to mix the drink in your own drink list.
You have to decide. Are you a 4 star hotel, then also keep a 4 star level in the bar. Not 2 star.

Good location. Nice breakfast buffet. Twin beds with sunken mattress set inside cardboard box. Temperature under total control of front desk. Can not open window because of smoke from below (cigar, pipe, etc.) and loud talking, with desk staff and hotel manager. No counter space, towel bar or hooks in bathroom. Potable wraparound shower. Shredded threadbare towels. Dirty draperies, holes in sheer curtains. No amenities. Beer on tap only one night.

Location, spotless. Rooms meet all ur needs and the staff are so super friendly. It did say there was a hairdryer in the room but not in ours so I spoke to reception and they gave me one . Also we arrived a few hours before check in and they had a free room so we got sorted and went out. Breakfast was typical continental/polish. Sweet corn, gherkins, salad and sausage which was quite unappetising in looks. There was also scrambled eggs breads but no bacon which we were disappointed with but all in all we would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely go back when in Gdansk

We had a very nice stay at this hotel during our trip to Gdańsk in October 2022.
The location is within easy walking distance of the historic center of Gdańsk. There are plenty of attractions around, restaurants and shops. The rooms are clean, very spacious and have good facilities. The staff was brilliant and helpful. Delicious breakfast with ample variety to choose from.
Looking forward to staying at the hotel again when we are back in Gdańsk.
