Neighbourhood
Staré Město (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.

Loved the Xmas market. Well decorated, the atmosphere was amazing. Plenty to eat and drink. Mulled wine goes down a treat, roasted chestnuts puts you into the Xmas spirit.
Lots of shoping to be done. Don’t hesitate to explore off the square. Lots of shopping to be done down cobbl

This is a fab way to look out over Prague Old town square, well worth a trip up to the top, and then a slow walk back down or you can take the lift of course. A good place to get some great pictures too.

We sat for over an hours just resting and taking in the culture. Everything from a young couple being photographed for their wedding to people just hanging out . Families, young and old. No one was in a hurry, just enjoying life

We stayed in the Executive Suite which is the only room at the hotel with a balcony over the Christmas Market season. The room is very large with sofa and table for breakfast. Room was clean and the bathroom was excellent. The view from the balcony was superb - with a great vi

Do you arrange train station pick ups? I will be arriving to Prague on Sunday Oct 2nd..my precious lodging arrangements failed and I am looking to make new reservations as soon as possible.
We used Urber. It was very reasonable and easy. If you need a place to stay I would recommend 1) Old Town Square Hotel if you want to be in the heartbeat of everything or 2) Best Western Kinsky Garden if you would prefer to be in more of a residential, quieter area.

Hello, I am arriving mid August and saw the question about parking, is there a car park close by that we're able to park at or is parking hard to come by. Also I'm booking through American Express was wanting to view the square would that be the city view room or no.
We did not have a car but there is no parking close to the hotel that I saw. I am sure the hotel could advise of closest long term parking . A car in Prague is not an advantage so you will Need a park for the time you are in the city .

Do all the rooms in the Old Town Square Hotel face the square? I haven't been able to find any definite information on which rooms directly face the square, other than the room with the balcony.
Hi Aaron1960 We have 10 rooms in the hotel in total. The double rooms face the Zelezna street and one of the family suites faces the Zelezna street as well. All of the other 6 rooms face the Old Town Square. Is there a particular date of travel that you are looking for? Can I be of further assistance? Yours sincerely Helena
