Cannot recommend highly enough. Stayed here due to flight cancellation- quite a few stressed people diverted here early hours of morning. Staff were so helpful and couldn’t deal enough for you - inc those that had young children. Rooms lovely, breakfast excellent an location to side of Wenceslas square

I wish I had planned for a longer stay at this great hotel, its location in the heart of Prague and closeness to metro station, train station and major points of interest makes it a great choice for everyone. The entire staff could not have been more pleasant, kind and accommodating, the hotel, bar and restaurants were spotless and we felt very safe staying there. My massage at the end of the day was the best I have had in years. Definitely look forward to staying there again.

I stayed many times in this hotel and I absolutely love it. The stuff is very nice and helpful. They will do their best to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The location is great, next to the Wencesslas square, few minutes by walk to the Old Twon Square, basicly it is few minutes walk from all main sigth seeings in the center of the town as well as many good restaurants, cafes and shopping mall Palladium.
Rooms are soundproof and spacious and the beds are very comfortable.
Breakfast Is very good, there is a great variety of food served.
If you want to give yourself a treat with a very good dinner and restaurant experience, you have to make a reservation at the Alcrone restaurant.
I would like to give a special thank you to the stuff during my last stay in the hotel on weekend when state of emergency was implemented due to the Covid-19, for their help and advices regarding that situation.
I will for sure come again to Hotel Alcrone and I higly recomand it for your future stay, you will come back again for sure!

the hotel has nice interiors, excellent location in the city center, its atmosphere quite spacious rooms including bathroom ...
I did not like it · absolutely to my misunderstanding at the reception could not meet the requirement to open the window (technician opens the window extremely once) which is closed everywhere for safety reasons and is only 3 cm which is not even a classic "fan" so you can not have fresh or clean air on rooms only climate ..change of rooms where there was a balcony maybe also was not only for the full counter price not for an upgrade fee (room ordered through booking and paid for) .. just no possibility of individual agreement at the reception (receptionists do not have competence ?!) which is very sad and it prevented our stay because for health reasons we needed a window open ..

I have become a fan of Prague now, so walkable and the Alcron property is just superb. The experience started at check-in where along with a welcome drink, the front desk staff took the time to chart out a detailed 3-day plan for us; highlighting on the map as well sharing tips that only locals would know to enhance our experience.
The room is spacious, toiletries Molton brown, breakfast multiple options and two on-property restaurant very good. Proximity to key sights and easy access to trams makes this a great find.

We have just had a lovely four days in the wonderful city of Prague.
As for the Alcron, a really relaxed atmosphere, where the staff in all areas are friendly and professional and always happy to offer help and advice.
The rooms (junior suite) are really spacious and the king size bed is very comfortable.
We did not eat at the Rotunda or Alcron restaurant, but did eat from the menu in the bar area. The food quality and quantities are both excellent.
We used the concierge service for advice on public transport, reservations at restaurants. They were very helpful and knowledgeable (Marek).
Located just off Wenceslas Square means good access to the shops and new town and an easy walk into old town, river and towards the castle.
Highly recommend the Alcron.

I recently stayed at the Alcron Hotel for a week and was extremely satisfied with my stay. The hotel itself was quiet and within walking distance of many of the tourist sites in the city. The room was spacious and the breakfast every morning had about ten various fruit options to select from. I have stayed at many hotels around the world and I have never met a staff that was as impressive as this one. A special thanks to Jana, Peter, Alan, Barbara, Marek, and Bea who were all exceptionally kind, knowledgeable, and helpful during my stay.

As soon as we walked through the door we were made very welcome.
The receptionist showed us to our room and gave us a good tip for somewhere to go for lunch, Tiskarna really good Czech food and very reasonable.
We had arranged a free Orientation tour through the hotel Concierge. it was like taking a walk with a friend, Magdalena was brilliant, she showed how to get tram tickets, took us to the castle on the tram then we walked slowly back to the hotel whilst she showed us the sights and explained some of the history of Prague, the tour was over 21/2 hours long, well recommended and free!
The hotel is very clean, the room was a good size, we got credit in the Bebop cocktail bar as part of the room deal, great atmosphere, good food and great cocktails. the bar staff, especially Jan the bar manager, were a good laugh, very friendly but also very professional.
We eat in the bar and the hotel restaurant i would recommend both.
Breakfast is also very good with a good range of food for every taste.
Marek one of the Concierges was very informative about places to visit. we took his advise and visit St. Cyril and Methodius which has a lot of war history, just across the road from the Fred and Ginger building.
I would recommend anyone visiting Prague to stay at the Alcron Hotel which in it's self is a famous building with lots of history. The hotel is very inexpensive for a very high standard with exceptional staff.
Prague is a very interesting city with lots of history and beautiful buildings and architecture.
we had read prior to our visit the the Czechs weren't very friendly and didn't speak much English, this wasn't the case at all, everyone we met was very friendly, helpful and spoke very good English.
we would visit Prague again and won't stay anywhere else other than the Alcron Hotel.
Prague as a whole is a beautiful city, with lots to do and see and very inexpensive for a high standard of food and drink.

What a beautiful hotel, loved the art deco style. Spacious rooms, friendly staff and reasonably priced. The breakfast was excellent with a good selection, efficient and friendly waiters. Great recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants from front desk team. Complimentary water in the room and nice toiletries. The location is very central, and the friendly bellman will direct you in the right. We tried roomservice the first night and he food was tasty. We will definitively return.

I spent few stays at Alcron.
The facility is not actually modern, however the perfectly maintained Art Deco building make it really special.
Very spacious rooms, clean, comfortable and quiet.
The location, despite it's in the very centre of Prague, is not really the best for business nor for leisure.
Excellent personnel
Fairly priced

Hi sorry for the delay. I didn't notice an air-conditioning problem. When I was there, it was unseasonably warm weather around 24 degrees celcius and the room temperature was perfect. It's a great hotel!
