Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.

This hotel is in no way shape or form a 5 star hotel. It’s a nice 3/4 star hotel but definitely not a 5.

We arrived to the hotel on my boyfriends birthday. The door was opened for us by a member of staff, that is the one and only time the door was opened for us for our stay. Th

Really quite a good hotel, however probably not what would be considered 5 star in the UK. Wifi good as promised and breakfast adequate. Staff are generally helpful and friendly. Couple of little niggles like the fact that there wasn't a shower curtain in the bathroom, the AC wa

Dear guest, first of all thank you so much for taking the time to write about your recent stay in our hotel Hoffmeister. The hotel's location is central, so we do not avoid the sounds of the city sometimes, but they are acceptable. We are sorry that the air conditioning did not work. Next time, do not hesitate to turn to us to resolve the issue. The breakfast buffet is regularly replenished to keep the choice for all our guests during all the morning. Of course, if something was missing we apologize and for next time do not hesitate to contact someone from our restaurant team to meet your requests. In any case, we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and we hope to see you again next time you are in Prague. Hotel Hoffmeister & Spa

Fantastic place to stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was superb. The room itself was great very comfortable and clean.
For us the hotel was just outside the tourist area which made it very quite. Although a 10 min walk puts in right in too town.

First, the location; that's crucial for tourists. It's right next to Prague Castle, just across the bridge from the historic center, and practically adjacent to tram and underground stations.

The rooms are quite luxurious. Ours had generous seating space, and a bathroom with

Why on the website does it specify access to the spa is only 9-12? This seems a bit short if you’re paying good money for a high class establishment.
No, the spa is open to the hotel guests, all of them, between 9 and 12, for free. That is the jacuzzi and sauna. From 12 to 8 p.m. you could book a private hour in them for a fee. Then you had the sauna or jacuzzi to yourself, no other guests. You could book massages any time from 9 (sometimes earlier if needed) to 8 p.m., two people at a time can do massages. We had massages and used the spa daily, but only booked the sauna and jacuzzi privately once each. Hope this helps!
