Nestled in the heart of Prague, the Four Seasons Hotel Prague garners accolades for its superior amenities, including a fantastic gym and luxurious spa, as well as its plush beds. Its prime location is a hit among guests eager to explore the city's historic charms. While the hotel's serene atmosphere and cleanliness receive high marks, mixed reviews surface regarding room decor and housekeeping.
Guests often find the service commendable, though some have noted it lacks consistency. The value proposition, however, leaves some travelers questioning the price point relative to the offerings.

While we haven’t stayed at a Four Seasons before, we often stay at luxury hotels on vacation - and this held its own on all counts. (NB: we did not eat in the hotel other than breakfast, nor use the spa/gym). My husband and I stayed for 3 nights.
We booked through Virtuoso, and did receive an upgrade at check-in. Room 405 did not have a view (if we craned our necks, we could see the river), but was a super nice room with two comfy armchairs, a desk, and a very comfortable bed. Some of the pros to us: - very spacious room with plenty of drawers, countertops, etc. to keep things on - Housekeeping attention to detail - for example, we liked the Velcro strap they put around our charging cables. And the small gift the first night (facial products) was nice, as was the box of chocolate nuts at check-in. - So many hotels today require an advanced electrical engineering degree just to get all the lights on and off. This room had one switch, available from the door or next to the bed. Hurrah! There were also some floor and table lamps, each of which had clear and easy to use switches (and worked!). And no nonsense about having to put your keycard in something for the lights to work. - Similarly, many hotel showers start with burning or freezing you. This one actually had the same simple Hans Grohe controls we have in our own shower at home, so quite familiar to us and it was very straightforward. - Breakfast buffet was nicely a bit different than what you see at every hotel everywhere, and all the food was quite good. Service slightly spotty - we had to ask three times the first day for my husband’s cappuccino… but then the third morning, the waitress greeted us and immediately said “water, juice, and one cappuccino?”, which was nice. - There were two different concierges on duty during our stay. They were both helpful with restaurant suggestions and navigation assistance, which was all we required of them. They were very friendly and seemed knowledgeable. - Fantastic location - really couldn’t be better if you’re planning to see Old Town, Lesser Town, and New Town. Right in the middle so everything was easy to get to.
Cons: - Not really any! Only one would be the ridiculous amount they wanted to charge for an airport pick-up. Yes, it would have been in a Mercedes-Benz S-class…but that wasn’t worth the €250 they were asking. We booked with a private airport transportation company for €35 instead, and were very happy with it.

The Four Seasons is an excellent hotel in a perfect location near the Old Town and the Charles Bridge, and it was an easy walk to Wenceslas Square and the New Town as well. There are many very good restaurants nearby. The hotel rooms are large and comfortable, with every amenity, a large mini-bar and coffee station in the room, and updated bathrooms. The hotel restaurant has excellent food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a good menu and a wonderful breakfast buffet. The best part about the hotel, however, is its staff. Everyone we dealt with at the hotel during our 4-day visit -- front desk, concierge, bellmen, housekeeping, restaurant waiters -- was very well trained, professional, helpful, and friendly. Two minor criticisms are, first, the hotel decor is mid-90's and needs to be updated, but that wasn't an issue for us. Second, there never seemed to be enough bartenders in the evenings -- we had to wait a long time for cocktails or wine. The manager, however, noticed the delay and gave customers complimentary wine while waiting for our drinks. The Four Seasons is probably the best option in Prague in terms of hotel quality, the location, and the staff -- we loved our stay there and will return in warmer weather to explore Prague further.

Everything was as the title says, impeccable. Cleanliness, food quality and the most important, human factor-people who work there are true professionals. You can only learn from them (deformation profesinelle) or just and relax and enjoy being pampered. This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at; decor, comfort, service, food, location - all unbeatable. Highlights included, impeccable housekeeping and laundry service, the gorgeous fine dining. Rooms are incredibly comfortable and all feels brand new. While the location and architecture is amazing, the guest rooms are very tired. I appeared by furnishings and finishes it had not been updated since the early 2000’s. Also, they allowed guests/ locals to use the bar area with their dogs and allowed them to sit on the furniture in the lounge area. I love animals, but when you are paying Four Seasons rates, you would expect that any common area furnishings will be free of pet fur (I happen to be allergic), slobber, etc. That was very unappealing to me. I was uncomfortable dogging a dog, which sheds, roaming around near our feet as we are trying to enjoy a cocktail.

We stayed at the Four Seasons Prague at the end of a 10 day trip through Central Europe. Our trip included stays at a few iconic hotels and we wanted to close our trip with a stay at the Four Seasons. The location is convenient to most Old Town attractions and the common areas of the hotel are in line with the brand promise. However, the room (especially the bathroom) and the restaurant, Cotto Crudo, were a huge disappointment. The bathroom is worthy of a much lower brand and the restaurant is pricier than a few of the Michelin-rated restaurants in Prague. While I understand there is a premium for service, the food was flavorless and the portions were ridiculous. I found the hotel and its restaurant are hugely overpriced.

Upon check in at the Four Seasons Prague my husband and I (celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary) were first shown 2 rooms with horrible views in the catagory we booked and paid for, “The River View Suite”. The third room had a mediocre view, (not horrible) but blocked entirely by a wall on one side, on a low 2nd floor and wedged between buildings. The website description and photos were completely different than the “view room” we received. We requested a higher floor with a view more in line with their website description and photos . Management did not address our complaints in a timely fashion and did not bother to call us to talk about the situation. Very unusual treatment for a Four Seasons Property. Also, Cotto Crudo for dinner was disappointing to us. There are many better places to dine in Prague. (On a positive note, the beds are very comfortable, the room was quiet and the staff is very nice, but it did not make up for the disappointment in the view or the lack of timely intervention by the management (timely because we were offered a nice room at 5:30pm the day before we were to leave…too little too late). Would not recommend.

The hotel is at a wonderful location, with a beautiful view. Overall the experience was a let down and certainly not what is expected of a Four Seasons property.
On the positives, the Concierge desk was good and very helpful, Veronika helped us with a few queries well. The location and views were very good, you are close to the Charles bridge and at walking distance from the Old town and castle etc.
The negatives the SPA experience was a let down, the rooms could not be adjusted with correct temp settings and the therapist was not very good. More importantly, service levels were very slow, anything you requested took long time.. eg just a request for pillow and laundry collection needed reminder calls. Housekeeping was also a concern and the rooms did not have working safety latches (broken).
We've stayed at other Four Seasons Hotels and have been blown away by the service and luxury, this one was not close to that level.
Room tip: If you can - get the rooms with the river view.

I stayed in hotel with my boyfriend, hotel is in good location rooms are a bit old but it’s ok. The worst things what happened they don’t change bed sheets… So when I went to reception the guy in the reception told me that hotel change every second day.. I say please today is second day and I want to have my room and bed clean after we went for a walk. When we got back to hotel sheets were dirty they just tried to hide … it’s horrible attitude from Four season hotel… after I called again they said that they change every 3 days… so even personal doesn’t know when exactly they change everybody saying different thing. So when housekeeping came that said it’s not my fault try to argue after I ask is it my fault? I pay big money to enjoy my stay sleep in nice room not on dirty bed… also we gave close for dry cleaning unfortunately my boyfriend Tshirt were destroyed…. I so upset of this attitude we came to enjoy time not to have drama with cleaning services…

It's always a pleasure to stay at a Four Seasons property, but the Four Seasons Prague exceeds the mean Four Seasons standard in literally every way. First, the location is perfect - close to everything and yet quiet, elegant and sophisticated. The service is utterly impeccable and the design and decor is both attractive and ergonomically efficient. The restaurants were excellent and I in particular want to mention a waitress at Cotto Cruco - Jana Vadalova - whose extraordinary kindness and attitude was exceeded only by her competence and service oriented persona. She made our stay even better just by being around her and enjoying her personality. I also want to compliment the room, the spa and of course the attention to detail throughout the entire property which a Four Seasons consistently provides. Whether for tourism, business or both, the Four Seasons Prague is the right choice for any discerning traveller going to Prague.

Wonderfully comfortable accommodations in the BEST location.
Walk to the Charles Bridge in under 5 minutes, or to the Old Town Square in 10 minutes, or Castle Town in 20 minutes...or hop on the tram a block away to visit other parts of the city.
Sleep like a baby with the blackout curtains drawn or wash up in a luxurious soaking tub. But the best luxury of all? The people! There are people to help you wherever you go, eager to recommend an activity or assist with your luggage. Maybe that's obvious, but these days it feels like everything is an app or self-service...and it's so nice to feel like there are real people whose job is to make you feel welcome :)
I usually don't spend this kind of money, but planning a fancy European getaway gave me something to look forward to during a very dark time with my health. If it's even a possibility to stay at the Four Seasons, I would highly recommend: TREAT. YO. SELF.
Oh yea, and Prague itself is incredible. We're already making a mental list for "next time, when we're back..."
