Amanzoe is blissful. The natural views are breathtaking but coupled with the amazing and authentic architecture the resort is just full of outstanding, peaceful views wherever you look. I also loved how the resort is really in amongst the landscape - we really felt like we were in Greece. The staff provide a complex mixture of perfectionism and thoughtfulness but with laid back Greek hospitality. They are doing things for you before you have even thought to ask or know you wanted them but without making you feel like they are falling over themselves or pestering you too much so you can relax and enjoy your holiday. The facilities, restaurants, rooms etc are second to none. We have stayed in a LOT of very nice/expensive/luxurious places but nothing compares to Amanzoe in terms of luxury and service. We will definitely go back.

How do you even begin to describe this place and do its justice ? You can't. You have to go and see for yourself. It’s once in a lifetime experience, a must on everyone's bucket list that I am happy to scratch off. From every step of the way architectural marvel, sitting on the top of the hill where tranquil nature lulls you into a peaceful state of mind, gorgeous, spacious villa with its own poll, superb customer service paying attention to every small detail, beautiful beach club and the dining worthy of Micheline star restaurant. I am in awe. Speechless. Wanting to comeback as soon as possible. THANK YOU to everyone who made this experience so memorable from the beginning to the end - housekeeping, chefs at the restaurant ( true farm to table experience, their olive oil and marinated olives served complimentary at every dinner were to die for ) ,drivers who take you everywhere ,upper management who answer your every question and make your stay as comfortable as at home. Amazing ! Bravo Amanzoe Porto Heli !. 💙🇬🇷👏🏻

Amanzoe is breathtakingly beautiful. Stayed here with my husband for five days. I would have given them 5 stars but the first night was a bit of a disaster.
Dinner was a bit disappointing as it took almost an hour before we were served our entree. Having many guests is not an excuse for bad service. The wait staff would forget to replenish our drinks despite numerous requests. Started to get anxious that we were not going to get our usual Aman service.
Breakfast and dinner in the next couple of days was so much better with Marina and Georgios who were always around during our meals.
Both were very attentive and efficient making sure that meals and drinks were promptly served. Marina and Georgios were exceptional from start to finish.
These guys are the best!
I enjoyed the koulouri (round sesame bread) at breakfast and without having to ask this time, my bread basket was quickly replenished. This is how Aman is and this is the reason why we love being in an Aman Property. Anything and everything you want is anticipated and delivered without being obtrusive.
Our pavilion was spotlessly clean, comfortable, well equipped, and spacious. However, the thinning towels and the out of shape bath mats needs to be replaced.
Housekeeping replenished my favourite ginger cookies, tea and lemon drink daily.
We were very happy to have been able to visit Hydra for half a day. Interestingly, a lot of shops and restaurants were still open at this time of the year.
With the kind assistance of Georgia from Guest Relations,
she prearranged everything for us and all went smoothly from booking the car service from Amanzoe and the water taxi to Hydra and back. Excellent service and no time wasted waiting for a ride.
We came to Amanzoe on the 1st week of November and the place is winding down for winter and reopening again in the spring so only the main area was open for dining .
The breakfast selection was very good although options for lunch & dinner were limited.
My favorite was the baby green salad with fruits and nuts. My husband had his grass fed rib eye steak. Delicious! The truffle risotto needs improvement.
Nama, the Japanese restaurant was already closed for the winter.
Overall, Amanzoe is a place we enjoyed and would go back to.

Easily the most luxurious resort we have ever stayed in with first class service at every turn. Stayed in two deluxe pavilions that were connected by an inner patio door. Space is large and well appointed with his and her bathrooms, easy one-touch controls for lighting throughout the room, private plunge pool, large dual shower with skylights, amazingly soft and comfortable robes and the list goes on and on. The food was fantastic at all three restaurants and the drinks in the lounge were delicious (and they went to great lengths to make whatever you desired). Beach club is excellent although you should be aware that the ride to the Club is definitely 10 minutes by car. Gym was excellent as was the spa. Entire staff seems to be very well organized and on top of your every need.

Only complaint (which I would call minor) was that lavender bushes throughout property attracts yellow jackets that were a nuisance while dining at the property's restaurants (which are all open air), especially during breakfast. Would be good for the resort to invest in ways to try and minimize this nuisance beyond the citronella candles (which did not seem to help all that much).

All in all, will definitely come back again and now family wants to travel to other Aman properties given how exquisite this one was.

Truly one of the most spectacular resorts, I have ever seen.
PROS: architecture which tantalizes all your senses, sweeping 200 degree vistas of the sea and mountains, the most luxurious well designed "rooms"; they are really large flats, incredible landscaping, copious places to relax and enjoy, unique spaces - library, fire rotunda, seating under olive trees, shaded chaises, etc. , one of the most the comprehensive all inclusive a la carte breakfast menus I have seen CONS: not many, the food for breakfast is excellent and room service/pool is good, the dinner service and cuisune is not Aman nor 5 star standard; a new chef is needed quickly.

Regardless, the overall experience simply transports you to another time and space. The design is truly Aman world class and makes you feel as though your Pavilion is your Greek home,

This was our 5th visit to Amanzoe and it never disappoints. From the rooms (the beach cabanas are particularly special) to the scenery, and the food, it really is a slice of heaven. This however was our first visit with our relatively young baby and we couldn’t be more impressed with the assistance we got in the lead up to the trip. From making sure our room was equipped with a baby bath, sterilizer and even the correct size nappies and a playgym to always offering us a car transfer to the main resort with a baby car seat. The staff all remembered his name and would make an effort to serve us quietly if he was napping. It’s all gone a long way to cement the resort as our favourite and we can’t wait to return!

We have stayed at about a dozen Amans around the world, and Amanzoe is one of the best along with the Amanpulo in the Philippines, the Amankora in Bhutan, the Amanfayun in Hangzhou and the Amandayan in Lijiang. All special places. The service here is outstanding. The concierge is among the best for any hotel, anywhere. The food if fine, but nothing exceptional. If you want good cooking go to a Relais Chateau. the gym is serviceable. The villa rooms are very large with their own pools. Housekeeping seems seems to freshen up your room every time you leave. They are amazing. The free mini bar is always stocked. A shout our to the masseur Piertos who outstanding.

Actually, Greece is mostly barren, rocky and rough and the beach clubs are rarely beautiful. But Amanzoe shows us that Greece can be different. The resort is green, has beautiful views, a magnificent panorama and probably the most beautiful beach club in Greece. And Amanzoe is probably also the most beautiful resort in Greece. The resort and hotel complex with typical cypress trees and Mediterranean vegetation on the Peleponnes makes you heart beat faster and the panoramic view of the Aegean Sea immediately enchants.

The very discreet villas are located a little away from the hotel on a hill. To get to the hotel and the areas that can be used there, it takes about 15 minutes on foot or a shuttle can be sent. There are numerous walking paths through the beautiful nature.

We stayed in the beautiful 6 bedroom Villa 15 for a week in April 22 with two other families, 2 children each.

Highlights

_ Amazing service with our own cook and our own service team who fulfilled all our wishes.
_ Fantastic food.
_ Great view, panorama
_ Mediaroom with gym
_ Great rooms
_ Living room with all-round glazing and beautiful interior

Good to know

_ A bit noisy heat pumps in April that still don't get the pool 100% warm
_ Long journey; helicopter recommended if budget allows
_ Long distances in the resort, e.g. to the beach club car transfers required
_ Tennis court okay but within the hotel price category there is room for improvement

Conclusion

In the price league the Amanzoe plays way up in Europe. But also in quality and in beautiness.

This was actually the first time that my partner and I stayed for a week at one single Hotel. We travelled around the world and this time we just wanted to relax. I must admit I had never expected that this journey would turn out to be one of the greatest experiences. As a mother to be, I had the possibilty to book an extra message together with my partner (so they adapted to our wishes), which I found amazing. Another detail was that the manager talked with us and was very focused that we had a pleasant vacation. Now, I do really know why they have such good reviews: the personnel is super kind and client focused, the location is breath taking and the buffet is very diverse .So I can really recommand this hotel for couples that want to have a great vacation combined with relaxation.
