Detailed Reviews
I was on the last sector of three weeks traveling the north island and decided waiheke would be the place to chill out before the excruciating long journey back to Dublin Ireland. Unfortunately I originally booked an unsuitable place to stay.. after one night and zero sleep I emailed lance and Emma praying they’d have a cancellation as it’s so difficult to find accommodation short notice in peak season that’s central on this beautiful little island but thankfully my prayers were answered and they responded saying they had a lovely apartment for me. The location could not be better directly across the road from Oneroa beach. The accommodation, included a kitchenette equipped with everything you could need, a lounge, beautifully decorated bedroom and bathroom.. what was particularly lovely was Emma had made me home made bread, with fresh butter, conserves, orange juice and fresh milk in the fridge etc. it’s funny how when I stay in hotels and pay for breakfast, the simpler things like home made bread and butter can be so much tastier and homely than your typical commercial breakfast. Lance who was so down to earth, friendly and accommodating actually drove me to the ferry port one day so I could take my bus tour. I can’t say enough nice things about these people. It’s just the little things that mean so much when you travel and stay in different places. Lovely!

This place is conveniently located in the biggest village in Waiheke Island.
Its layout is very private and good for couples on holidays. It has a living and dining area in a big room, a separate bedroom with an attached toilet. All the rooms are appropriately furnished with adequate utensils, refrigerator, microwave oven, heated mattress and room heater. Sufficient supplies of fruits, different oats, milk, juice, freshly baked bread and various spreads for breakfast. Plenty of food eateries and bars located nearby. Good value for money.

We stayed at Oneroa b&b for two nights and wished it was longer, it is an ideal place for a good rest - private, quiet, lots of homely touches including home made fresh bread, cookies, plenty of breakfast supplied and lots more. Lance made us feel very welcome right from the start. The location is spot on, a minute's walk from any of the shops, bus stop, beach etc. A lovely place to stay and pleasantly different from the big commercial hotels. Not trendy or flash but full of charm. Suitable for a couple or one person as there is one double bed. However there are two units and they have connecting doors through a cupboard (cute) so two couples or a small family can be easily accommodated. We were 2 couples and did this, it was great.

We stayed in this excellent Bach for three nights while attending a Wedding on Waiheke Island and couldn't of made a better choice. Lance and Emma were great and so was their lovely dog. The location is spot on right near the Main Street of Oneroa. Would definitely recommend this place.

Oneroa b&b is perfectly situated for the beach, the cinema and the theatre as well as the bus stops. The accommodation is well maintained and very comfortable. Lance and Emma made sure that we were well supplied with breakfast every day, the fridge was always topped up. Home made bread and muffins were much appreciated. A real gem of a place to stay

The location, facilities, hosts assistance were all excellent, especially taking into account the tariff. Highly recommend to anyone. Great bed and 70's stylised furnishings.
The host Lance, included breakfast and gave us great recommendations of a local indian restaurant and cinema within 100m of our front door. we tried both and they were also excellent.

This was the perfect place to stay for a weekend on Waiheke - beautifully setup, super handy location and fully equiped with everything we needed - the included breakfast with fresh bread great. Lance, the host was very attentive and friendly and made sure our stay went smoothly - great to see someone who cares so much about the accomodation they offer. Overall, I'd have to say this is one of the best B&Bs we've ever stayed in - highly recommended.

I stayed here overnight while in Waiheke for work. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Nice and close to shops so was able to walk for dinner. Was very comfy and will definitely be back! Hopefully for a holiday next time!!

We stayed 1 night in a cute apartment with separate louge/living area, kitchenette and bathroom with shower and king size bed bedrooom. We didn't plan anything and after looking on everything highly expensive accommodation on every website we were really happy to find Lance's property! The welcome was great, checking in was very easy. The apartment is really well appointed with everything that you could expect. The continental breakfast was also good. We slept so well that when we got back home we missed the B&B s bed!!
Excellent experience overall at a very good value. Thanks again Lance we will be back
