We had the most amazing stay at Waiheke Waterfront Lodge for our honey moon this month. The Lodge is situated on a quiet road, beach front with incredible views from every room, rooms perfectly clean and beautifully furnished, and the bed was so comfortable. It is walking distance from Oneroa shops which is great and the Lodge has E bikes available which was the perfect way to see the island. We enjoyed delicious homemade breakfasts in the beautiful garden, and hosts Pip and Andy were helpful with recommendations for swimming spots, wineries and restaurants, ferry transfers and anything else we needed. We loved our stay, thank you so much Waiheke Waterfront Logde.

This is a wonderful lodge with a casual, relaxed feel.

Your stay will begin by being collected at the Waiheke Ferry Terminal and then you whisked away the short distance to begin your experience.

Pip, Andy and Maureen are delightful hosts. Each morning a different breakfast menu is offered. Pip cooks while you sit and enjoy your coffee, read the newspaper and chat to other guests. If you prefer a more secluded breakfast then there are spaces to eat without the company of other guests.

The rooms are spacious and very clean though not appointed with standard things like a shower cap, cotton balls or cotton buds. As a seasoned traveller I always pack my own but I expected that these items should be in the room especially a shower cap! Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion are provided but I am not a fan of refillable pumps for hygiene reasons but understand from an environmental point of view.

A pet peeve is no magnifying mirror in the bathroom. This is certainly not unique to here though.

The bed was comfortable though the pillows were a little flat for our liking.

The room was very hot without AC and we did not open our window at night because of mosquitos.

Overall we had a wonderful stay and I would recommend Waiheke Waterfront Lodge though for me it misses the extra rating point because of the small touches that you would expect for this nightly $ rate.

We have just returned from a lovely one night stay at the Waiheke Waterfront Lodge. Pip and Andy were excellent hosts: they picked us up from the ferry port and were happy to offer recommendations.

The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated, to a high standard (quality bedding and towels). Our view was serene and the atmosphere, peaceful: the perfect place to escape to.

I found that the lodge retained the privacy of a hotel, with the warmth and personal touches of a B and B.

We had access to a hot tub and really enjoyed using e-bikes to explore more of the island. Andy and Pip kindly let us check out late and use the bikes the day we were leaving.

The breakfast was also another highlight with home made granola and delicious, organic produce.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely return again soon. Thank you!

We have just returned from a relaxing weekend at Waiheke Waterfront Lodge.
Andrew collected us from the ferry terminal so there was no need to hire a car.
Absolutely loved our stay, great handy location - we walked up to shops, bars and restaurants (around 10mins) and had everything we needed on hand. The rooms are extremely clean, tidy and beautifully decorated. The bed was very luxurious!
Breakfast made onsite was outstanding, Pip and Andrew are amazing hosts and we could have chatted all morning but head off on the E-bikes to explore the island. Overall an amazing weekend away, great location and lodge for couples, group bookings and functions. You will be well looked after by Pip and Andrew. Cant wait to go again :-)

If you want to treat yourself and experience true 5* service book into Waiheke waterfront boutique lodge where Pip and Andy will delight you.
We visited Waiheke for the first time for my ladies special birthday and I’m so glad I chose Waiheke waterfront lodge as our base. Pip was so helpful in making arrangements and useful suggestions to make our trip enjoyable, really can’t thank her and Andy enough.
You will be delighted by the rooms, view, location and facilities, they really have thought of everything, the breakfast was a delight and freshly cooked. The room was perfect and best of all the level of attention was perfect, there if you need anything or just wanted a chat but also discreetly apart so we really felt like we had this glorious place to ourselves.
Treat yourself to the romance package it’s worth it.
Thank you so much Pip and Andy.

We will never forget our stay here. Waiheke Waterfront Lodge is a little dream of a lodge, peacful, invigorating, the scenery is amazing and beckons you to discover the Island..
Our Hosts Pip and Andrew were just delightful. This is a bed and breakfast with luxury.
Pip makes the breakfast from the local products and no request is too difficult. I am gluten free and Pip went over and above in providing me with a delicious breakfast daily seperate to what my husband had. Andrew made an amazing special smoothie for me. Maureen was a fabulous waitress and full of local knowledge and a joy to have around at breakfast time.
It felt like we could lounge all day in PJs if we wanted, there is no need, to overdress as the casual atmosphere created by Pip and Andrew allows you to feel at home..

I have been recuperating from illness over the past couple of years and the walk over to the other side of the Island is approximately 500mtrs, this is an easy gentle walk which takes you over to Little Oneroa beach, there you will find a small supermarket and a couple of takeaway venues we had pizza on the beach and another day fish and chips. The beach is very safe.
Pips choice of restaurants and organising our tables was excellent.
Thank you Pip and Andrew for creating such a beautiful space.

Pip and Andy our stay last weekend it was nothing short of AMAZING and we’ll be recommending your place to everyone that comes to visit us (when they can), we couldn’t recommend your place highly enough.
It was one of the best weekends ever, your hospitality was exceptional, the location and access to the wineries on our new favourite mode of transport 'electric bikes', plus the paddle boards and your delicious breakfasts – the list of added services you offer is endless and we loved every minute of our stay. Massive thank you and we will be back.

Ok, so it is pricey, but it is after all 5 star and immaculate. From the really helpful advice at booking and then everything throughout our stay, we were treated to excellent hospitality.
Pip gave guidance on ferries, on dining, on drives and walks. The offer of transfers and then a rental car was a saving on taking our own across on the car ferry. All the facilities were there - too many to list so check their webpage. The location is wonderful, the furnishings lovely, and the breakfast every bit the gourmet treat. I could go on.......
You should just check it it out for yourself, and be delighted as we were.

We have just come back from a super relaxing and enjoyable weekend at the Waiheke Waterfront Lodge. What a beautiful place! Andrew and Pip run an amazing lodge, and are excellent hosts. The rooms look out to the beach, and are very modern with a cool beach vibe. The beds are also really comfortable. We had dinner in Oneroa, which was only a 10 minute walk from the lodge. Pip put on an amazing breakfast the next day, starting with fresh fruit, muesli, yoghurt, coffee and smoothies. We finished off with a breakfast burrito. We spent the rest of the day cruising Waiheke on their complimentary E-Bikes, which was heaps of fun. Overall an excellent weekend, thank you for your hospitality Andrew and Pip, highly recommended!
