Detailed Reviews
Celebrating a Big Big Birthday and stayed 1 night in this delightful property.
We stayed in the tasteful Pohutukawa Studio which was immaculate and and bright with touches of Red and Pohutukawa Flowers. The extras such as toiletries, snacks and drinks were so appreciated. It is a quite location and our studio looked out onto the magnificent garden. Very peaceful and wish we had stayed longer.
Josephine and Wayne were superb hosts. Highly recommended and well priced for this lovely property.

We stayed in one of the self-catering studios for two nights, and we were very happy. The location is perfect, within easy walking distance from Oneroa village and beach. There are also two nice vineyards up the hill. The studio itself is clean, well planned and very well equipped, with great attention to detail. We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony, overlooking the beautiful garden, and sipping a cold rosé.

We stayed in the Paua studio last weekend and found it an exceptional accommodation, especially for the money. We were extremely comfortable and nice and warm (mid June). The beds and Manchester were superb, location very quiet, but a short walk to shops and restaurants. The small touches provided by the host were most welcome as was the care and attention to detail in the lovely secret gardens. We did enjoy a wine under the gazebo as the sun set and admired the birdlife the gardens bring in.

We stayed in one of two beautifully appointed, spacious studios with a balcony overlooking a lovely garden behind a house on the hill. It felt new with sparkling white walls, an excellently equipped kitchen area, a BBQ and a comfy bed. However there were couple of issues, the main one being the amount of light in the mornings. While there are generous blackout curtains over the patio doors at the front of the room, there are only Venetian blinds over the two long windows which face East so we were woken at dawn, despite wearing eye masks. The second, less critical issue, is the lack of shelf space in the bathroom which has a small basin with no surround and only a tiny corner unit on which to put your toiletries. That said, this is a lovely, bright contemporary place to stay if the light doesn't bother you.

We stayed at this wonderful apartment this weekend. It was immaculately clean, had everything you might need on your stay - including fly spray and insect repellent! - not that we need it. The little extras that make your stay - we didn't want for anything. Thank you and we will be back and recommend to our friends. Sonia & Ross.

Perfectly clean and with everything you need. A wonderful little hide away walking distance from all the bars and cafes, yet with a feeling of seclusion. Perfect for friends or couples. The lovely owner even dropped us down to the Ferry.
