Nestled in a coveted location, Dome Beach Hotel and Resort garners praise for its attentive staff and pristine beaches, with many guests appreciating the range of food options and ample sunbeds. While the atmosphere delights some with its relaxed vibe and live music, others find room for improvement in entertainment and decor. Guests have called out the hotel's cleanliness and the service as highlights, though opinions on room quality and value for money show some discrepancy, with calls for modern updates. Despite mixed reviews on certain aspects, the resort's proximity to scenic spots remains a consistent draw.

We travelled as a large group as we were getting married & were changed at the last minute to the dome due to our original hotel closing due to covid.
On arrival, due to some confusion through TUI our rooms were not as they should be. This was quickly resolved by the manager George.
Our first evening, the food seemed pretty basic so we were not impressed, we chatted with George the manager who agreed facilities were down due to lack of guests, he listened & understood that we wanted what we had paid for. He went out of his way to ensure that all of our party were happy, with varying tastes... some loving Greek food some loving English. We were ordering a la carte the buffet restaurant as well as using the buffet to ensure all guests were happy.
The restaurant manager Andrea's was fantastic, literally nothing was too much trouble. If we asked for it they provided it, even an amazing and huge birthday cake at short notice. All of the waiters took time to ensure us and the children were looked after. On our wedding day they even provided platters of food to our rooms to allow us ladies to stay in the room and not have to leave with our hair/makeup done.
The pools are great, travelling with 9 children of all ages... they found Luigi kept us entertained the best he could and the kids loved him.
Rooms are clean and very roomy. Our junior suite had a private garden and was directly onto the pool with a lovely sea view.
I cannot fault this hotel especially in the way of service. Its a difficult time for everyone right now due to covid, but it disappeared from our first day we completely felt that everything was 'normal' it was fantastic so thank you to all staff and we hope to return very soon.

Just got back from a ten night stay at the dome, absolutely loved this hotel, the grounds and facilities are brilliant.
The private beach is beautiful very sandy but very rocky as you go into the water, but 20 meters away is a huge packed beach better for swimming.
The main pool and area is always clean and tidy with plenty of loungers to go around also plenty of loungers on the beach.
We stayed in a sea view room which was lovely facing the main beach some beautiful views of the sunrise. The room was lovely clean spacious. Bed was made every day but no clean bedding was put on the whole ten night stay. Fresh towels every day. The hotel corridors may present a little in need of restoration but other then that it’s a lovely clean large hotel.
The dining areas both inside and out are beautiful and very large. We stayed all inclusive and the food was superb, lots of different choices although we did get sick of eating the same types of meals towards the end of our stay. The drinks were ok, depending on who served you. A few of the bar staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing but the local bar staff were great, always polite and made some lovely cocktails. Plastic glasses was a bit of a let down but that was only by the pool and from the beach bar. Table service at meal times was excellent. One or two rude staff members but other then them the staff were excellent. A big thank you to nicos for remembering and welcoming us! Lovely man! And also a very special thank you to the hotel manager for arranging a special champagne breakfast sent to our room on our anniversary!
The entertainment was aimed at children all day and night time too, actually got sick of the same songs over and over, I feel they should move the entertainment area to the children’s area around the side of the hotel and provide some adult entertainment around the pool.
Sunday night was good for a few hours local live music performers but only lasted a couple of hours then it was back to children’s music again. Also there’s a lovely terrace area the hotel should make more use of this area and open up the bar up there for more adult friendly atmosphere (just a suggestion)
Overall the dome is a lovely hotel and a we had a lovely holiday. Thanks to all the staff at the dome!

Our week at the Dome was an unforgettable experience! The kindest staff especially Maria who was always chatty, informative and approachable.
The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Cleaned everyday with hand towels and bath towels replaced daily. Large balcony to overlook the beautiful pool and to listen to the music in the evening. Just a caution: ants can get to your opened food or drinks if you leave them around in your room.

We would definitely recommend bringing your own towels for the pool and beach as you may have to pay €10 deposit for them.
The environment throughout the hotel is relaxing and lovely.
There are two bars close to the pool and beach, the large pool provides inflatable loungers and rings - which is so lovely to see the children on! This is definitely a family friendly hotel!
Extremely comfortable loungers providing ample shade and sun.

Dinners were at 6:30, with a wide range of hot food. The buffet style restaurant had different food each night but was consistent for the children. The salad section was amazing with tasty cold pasta. The food does get quite repetitive if you are taking full advantage of the all inclusive package. The Greek restaurant on sight was delicious, with beautiful views of the sea especially at sunset! Would definitely recommend it! The dessert was my favourite!

Expectations weren’t the highest before we arrived due to scathing reviews. However these were completely wrong! Everything was just as we had hoped and we would highly recommend this hotel! Especially for a girls/guys trip as it is so close to the centre of Ayia Napa.
To leave you with how nice the hotel is - we had a very late flight and needed to shower and collect our belongings. We were able to shower in the spa with towels included, and leave our bags safely with the reception.

Check in was quick and very simple but we where the only ones checking in, I was surprised to see that the reception staff face masks where pulled down under their chins (not a good start these days). A very nice looking foyer quiet modern and well kept. The room looked good and was clean when we arrived, Air-conditioning doesn't work very well but was fine for this time of year as most days didn't get over 27° and nights were around 22°. The bed was terrible a very old mattress that had a piece of foam put on top to try and make up for the age, the bottom sheet was to small for the bed so it couldn't be tucked under the mattress so you ended up on an old piece of foam. There was no top sheet instead they used a duvet cover so again it wasn't large enough for the bed.

House keeping was good, room was always cleaned with fresh towels ect except for the day before check out where nothing was restocked (we had no soap left, no floor mat and very little toilet paper) when we went to reception to request more we where told they where to busy with checkins (7:30 at night). I think our biggest let down was the fact that the staff didn't seam worried about wearing masks, the men working in the buffet area had there masks on properly but the young lady (the only staff member without a name badge) always had hers on her chin. All the othere staff regularly used the hand sanitiser but I never saw her use it once. One evening 10 minutes after the buffet opened i informed her that the hand sanitiser was empty and her response was don't worry about it. There was no enforcement of customers to where mask either. (There where signs everywhere but no one enforced this rule so most people didn't) we paid £500 for 7 nights which is a fair price but definitely not 4 star and will not be coming back while coronavirus is still around they just don't seam to care and there are plenty more hotels is cyprus that do.

We were guests to a wedding at Dome Beach and our party (between the ages of 6 – 70 years), used 6 bedrooms for varying lengths of stay.

The wedding was on the beach, right next to the hotel and it was a beautiful ceremony. It really is a lovely location for a wedding. Between the wedding and the evening reception we had drinks indoors, but eventually moved onto the terrace outside, where Maria really looked after us and we had a delightful afternoon. The evening reception was held in the beach bar area, where we had buffet and disco. The reception was lovely, and we had a good time dancing the evening away. We were well looked after by Maria and another gentleman at the bar, the drinks were flowing, but unfortunately the buffet wasn’t warm enough. But it was a lovely day regardless.

With regards to food, we did not have the opportunity to try the a la carte restaurants, we ate mostly in the main buffet restaurant. Whilst the service was very good, the food wasn’t warm enough, and we thought the evening meals were bland. We chose to eat out sometimes because of this.

The hotel has 2 main pools (each pool has a childrens pool also) and we spent a lot of time sunbathing and swimming in these, and a good time was had by all. We also spent some time on the beach, part of the beach had the Dome’s own beds and these were lovely and we really chilled out there, it really was a lovely spot and wish I had spent more time there.

Entertainment in the hotel was low key.

Ayia Napa is a short bus/taxi ride, we used taxi's and they were quite reasonable. Lot's to do in town and lots of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.

There is a shop on site, near reception and they are well stocked with treats, gifts and clothing etc, and were really nice people, there is a supermarket approx 10 min walk away.

Unfortunately I had a serious housekeeping issue with my bedroom, although the issue was promptly sorted it made me feel uncomfortable and the lack of apology by Reception really did surprise me. Just sorting out the problem and leaving a plate of fruit and a tiny bottle of wine (which I can get free anyway) in my mind wasn’t an apology enough. The lady from Jet2 was sympathetic and apologetic but I left my holiday feeling quite deflated.

Wish food had been hotter! I think this is a fair review considering!

Upon arriving the hotel did not even have our booking so got put into a room overlooking the car park, not the pool view as requested. However this was sorted out the next morning and the room we had was good, but just a disappointing start to the holiday
Food was OK, but we felt it was a bit limited and a bit bland to other hotels we have stayed in.
This is not a 4 star as billed, its more like a 3 star at best and was a bit dated.
However it was in a good location, right on the beach and could always get a sun lounger, however the sun loungers on the beach were chargeable on a weekend, which was rather strange.
the staff were friendly enough and we have to say Maria was great.
Just a bugbear, when we were sitting outside for breakfast, i did not appreciate the cleaners, literally mopping the floor around us, breakfast with cleaning chemicals is not a good combination
There was no entertainment on, it started the week after we left, just to be aware of that
Overall we had a good time, but do not think we would come back as there are better hotels for the same money

I have just returned from a 7 night holiday at Dome beach. I went with a family group for my sister’s wedding. First impressions of the hotel were good, very clean and smart reception area. The staff are exceptional ( and were throughout our stay) . We stayed in a junior suite ( room 65) it was lovely and ideally situated as it was directly by the main pool ( we got sunbeds outside our room and left patio unlocked for easy access during day) . This sadly is where the positive attributes of the resort end. The food was mediocre at best, very basic buffet. Limited choice of food for such a large hotel, desert choices was 3/4 creamy type goop and chopped melon ( both lunch and dinner) . It was not 4 star food by any stretch of the imagination, more 2/3. The drinks were also limited and very weak ( vodka was only 25% rather than 40%. Depending upon which bartender you got as to how much care was shown in making drinks. Everything was served in very thin plastic cups.
I would say that the hotel caters for Russian guests mostly, there where more Russian signs than any other language, I would guess that the occupancy was about 70% Russian ( who, on the whole were very rude, pushed in and didn’t care about anyone else) .
There was supposed to be 3 speciality restaurants on site but only the Greek one was open, we were only allowed to book it once in the week ( even though it was empty most of the time) the food there was nice ( no menu or choices, they just served up a set menu) This was the best food of the week, if only the buffet food matched the quality of this food it would have matched a 4 star rating.
The wedding was beautiful, very well organised and we were all very well looked after by the coordinator throughout the day. My sister got married on the actual beach which was lovely but it was about 38 degrees (3.30 in afternoon) and we were all very uncomfortable by the end of the ceremony!!! ( the coordinator did bring us all a cup of cold water while we waited for photos). The reception was lovely and the food was also very good( of the same quality as Greek restaurant) .
Overall the staff were the best thing about this hotel, I paid £1,600 for 1 week’s stay, this is the most I have ever paid for a7 day holiday anywhere in the world. I think that it was only because it was a wedding venue hotel they can get away with charging the hugely inflated prices.
Would I stay in this hotel again? Absolutely not, not for the price anyway. If it were a 300/400 pound holiday then yes I would as I feel this would be a fair price for the holiday I got.

We stayed at the Dome beach for our honeymoon so disappointed the hotel is tired rundown and grubby dirty broken furniture broken glass in doors and the food is so cheap and nasty we ate out . All the food is recycled from one meal to another chopped up Frankfurt sausage in salad from breakfast undercooked eggs and bacon meatloaf and frozen veg water down orange juice .. the list is endless . We booked and payed for a superior room don’t bother it’s no different from any other room in that block . A balcony no bigger then a ledge with dirty broken furniture… a shower held up with tape the wonderful sea view we got was sort of there if you sat in the left corner on the ledge sorry balcony in front the hotel next door and to the left the bins that were emptied every morning around 4 the manager is no help all he keeps saying is my hotel is the best on the island … I beg to differ we could move but he wanted €300 I was paying no more
Entertainment is nearly non existent and what there was is poor
All drinks served in plastic cups understandable around the pool but not in the bar at night this is not 4 star plus
If you leave that hotel be prepared you will need a taxi every time at €10 a time each way
Room cleaning was basic sheet pulled up bin emptied but on day 8 it was cleaned properly
I always want to add a positive to any bad review so I have 3 it’s on the beach the beds big and the pools are good but the manager is deluded and does not want to do anything to help unless you pay extra and the front desk staff look at you like your mad
This hotel is NOT 4 star not even near we won’t be back !!

Food terrible at every sitting
Hotel tired and decor dated
Limited all inclusive options
No entertainment but still advertised
Waiters smoking behind the bar and allowing people to serve themselves!
We ended up eating out on an all inclusive holiday. Nothing cooked fresh and left to fester in sauces.
Ants in the room. Lots of them
Mould on fruit
Only one restaurant when sold 3
Bed uncomfortable with a blanket and no duvet
No water in the room
Paid for room upgrade. Had small balcony and a view of the sea. And the generator!
Generator noise constant
Feel totally, totally ripped off are saving for two years to celebrate a wedding anniversary and birthday.
Staff said they don’t eat the food and were winding down as they closed at the end of the week.
The only plus is location and staff who made our stay just palatable after not be able to move hotels through BA.
Do not go to this hotel if you are looking for a 4 star.
Your holiday will be ruined.
Don’t get sucked in by the photos.
BA selling a duffer!
Thank you to Jet 2 Rep for helping. No BA rep but a text number in Croydon!

Maybe I have been spoiled with my numerous stays in 4 star hotels, but this , in my opinion, should be 2 or 3 star at the best.
They deliberately give false information aboout the Covid restrictions - they do not have any a la carte restaurants. Their Greek restaurant is waiter serviced, but you eat from the various dishes that are placed in fromt of you, which seem not to vary from day to day.
The buffet had a good variety of food, but it was usually tepid or barely warm.
They advertise a barbeque evening, but I was told that they berbequed it in the kitchen.
They also have a carvery evening, but I found no evidence of it when I went to dinner, I was told that it was a carvery evening, but it was carved in the kitchen.
The lounge bar didn't open until 4.00 pm
The staff took no notice of guests using the buffet withhout wearing a mask.
Sunbeds are free for all guests Monday to Friday. Weekends are payable
The balcony has two cheap plastic chairs without any cushions, the walk-in shower is the cheapest you could buy, with no glass screens, but a plastic shower curtain, so the water floods onto the bathroom tiled floor, making it dangerously slippery.
The local wines and spiris provided on the All Inclusive rate are the cheapest you could buy, the wine was only just drinkable and the spirits seemed to lack alcohol.
The sun loungers are without any cushions and, if you want to be on or near the beach, tiny flies plague you.
Frankly, they would have to pay me to stay here again.
Take my advice and check exactly what is operating, because even their shop was shut.

Yes they do play music around the one pool from around midday. Don’t think they do around children’s pool. Also have a singer/ group in the evening, around pool area.
