We enjoyed our stay at Culgoa Point Beach Resort and would stay again if we went back to Noosa.
The resort is in a good location with its own beach on the river. The water was a bit cold for us but it is still a nice wee beach. There is a shop a few mins walk away, but as we had a car we didn't use it and drove to the supermarket. It's a quick easy drive to Woolworths, Hastings St, Main Beach, etc and you could walk into town in I guess 15-20 minutes.
The resort has a really awesome swimming pool, its huge, multiple depths including an adjacent kids part for the very young, and heated so you can swim comfortably. There is also a big jacuzzi. The whole pool area is really great, we swam everyday. The kids absolutely loved it.
There is a little area to the side of reception with a coffee and tea area, you can make Nespresso at no charge which is a nice touch. and the area to sit there is a nice indoor-outdoor type lounge.
There are kayaks on offer, unfortunately we didn't get to use them, the day we considered it was a bit windy for taking young kids out on the river.
We stayed in a marina view room (31), a 2 bedroom self contained apartment. The apartment was a bit tired and in need of an upgrade; carpets old/stained, chips in paint and one of our towel rail and toilet roll holders were loose. Having said that, it didn't bother us at all and we could see the room next door was quite different so maybe they are working on an upgrade throughout the resort. I would say the bed wasn't great either, not terrible or uncomfortable but old, the type that you can feel every movement of the person next to you!
We got a starter pack for the room which included sachets of washing up liquid, dishwashing powder and liquid for the washing machine. I felt the inclusion of sachets was not the most environmentally friendly option and also a bit 'stingy'. We were staying for 7 nights so it was 2 loads in the dishwasher and the option to handwash but even then difficult to use with a little sachet. The washing machine liquid was so small, I doubted it was enough to do a full load. Not a big deal, just a small gripe if I was to have one.
Overall the resort is pleasant and was well suited to us, I would recommend it to other families. Thanks for having us.

Recently enjoyed an 8 nights stay in a first floor beach front apartment. The beautiful view overlooking the beach and Noosa River are the one of the best around. Our children enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking out to the sand bar and search for crabs and fishing off the bank.
Our two bedroom apartment was perfect for 2 adults, 2 kids. Very clean and contained everything we needed. The ensuite was tight, but functional. TV had chrome cast so we could watch anything that we would at home. Bedrooms had ceiling fans which in conjunction with the sea breeze, did the job. Plenty of bbq’s scattered around the property for communal use, always clean and never had to wait to use one. We utilised the beachfront bbq numerous nights while the kids swam and the sunset.
Staff were always friendly and helpful. Little communal area next to reception is great for making complimentary nespresso or doing work from home in peace.
Pool area was fantastic if we wanted a change from the beach. Didn’t use the gym, but it’s compact, overlooking the pool, with everything you would need.
Location is premium, flat easy walk to Hastings St or Gympie Terrace, literally best of both worlds. Bus stop at the top of the street if needed, we had a hire car so we mostly left the car in the gated car park and walked everywhere. Quamby Place has a cafe, convenience store, bottle shop, hair dresser, fish n chips and numerous restaurants.
We have been coming to Noosa (Hastings St) for many years and now that we have stayed here, I think this will definitely be our new family go-to, particularly at the price point compared to other beachfront accommodation. In our experience Culgoa was definitely great value for money in Noosa.

👍my hubby and I stayed in a 2 bedroom, premium (marina view) unit on top floor.. number 32. It was spacious, clean, very comfy bed,Netflix provided on tv and secure undercover parking. Lovely, well maintained grounds, friendly staff and easy level 15 min walk to the main st in Noosa (Hastings street) Nice view from our balcony overlooking lagoon. Close by is a grog shop, convenience store and a couple of restaurants. Very quiet of a night time. Our room was well situated far enough away from pool area as I think it could get a bit noisy with over excited kids😬 👎only reason I didn’t give 5 out of 5 for review was because of wifi. We paid over $400 a night and wifi very weak and kept dropping out, disappointing for that amount of money spent. Also a bit more attention could be paid to base of shower as slight build up of mould in areas.

Came here as a family with teenage kids and have done so for many many years but this will be our last. What is usually a great venue, one of the best in Noosa, they’ve dropped the ball significantly. The grounds are usually immaculate however upon my most recent visit I noticed the grounds have been neglected. There’s dead plants all around the pool area, the big trees that run along the beachfront from the marina garden side to the main beach have dropped leaves but these are not collected. Some of these large branches have sharp edges so having kids made it difficult to go outside. I went for my early morning swim in the recently renovated pool and was the first one there, the pool clearly hadn’t been cleaned from the day before. There was leaves and sticks floating in the pool. There’s about 6 skimmer boxes so there’s no reason why it couldn’t have been cleaned overnight. The bbq wasn’t cleaned daily, the lawns weren’t being mowed as often as they should, communal furniture wasn’t straightened, there’s sand everywhere - many moons ago a gentleman would walk around with a leaf blower and tidy the beachfront.
Another issue I witnessed was the staff. When I’m paying so much to take my family on a holiday I absolutely do not appreciate the attitude and rude aggression that comes from what i can only assume is a Maintenance staff member. I witnessed the way he spoke to people and it’s inexcusable to do this to anyone, no matter what the reason is. He needs a reality check that the world doesn’t revolve around him. There were numerous things that I could go on about with regards to him. One occasion I had some watercraft, fishing equipment and chairs set up on the grass outside the apartment I was staying in and he didn’t like this. Rather than approaching me and asking me nicely to remove them I was yelled at and told to get them off the grass. There’s no reason why I couldn’t be on the grass and the kids too. He did not approach me in a nice way and address it as an issue, he just yelled. Now to me that’s just plain rude and disrespectful towards the guests that are paying such a large amount of money.
So, as long as ‘Ben’ is working at this venue I will not return and I will most definitely be spreading the word that this arrogant staff member has ruined my holiday. I expect a response from management as to what their course of action will be………
Extremely disappointing to say the least. This apartment block is in need of some control and discipline towards its staff members otherwise they’re going to run it into the ground.

We stayed at Culgoa for the long weekend, originally booking 3 nights, but since hubs booked a job at Maryborough, we decided to try and book a night ahead which actually worked in our favour.
First of all, I’d like to thank Ash from customer service. I spoke to her and asked if we can book the night before our arrival and she was so very accommodating, patient and helpful. They were fully booked as it was the long weekend (ANZAC), but she managed to find us the best apartment in the resort. We had to pay for the extra night, but she’s upgraded us free of charge from the marina view room to the best beach front apartment!
The apartment was quite big as it was a 3 bed apartment so they locked the 2 other bedrooms since we won’t be needing it.
The kitchen was spacious, only feedback was maybe leave instructions on how to use the oven as the knobs were almost faded so we couldn’t figure out how to bake our chicken 😂
The ensuite was very small and it only is suitable for one person, so I asked if they can open the main bathroom for us to use and they accommodated (really great customer service!). Shame that the main bathroom didn’t have any shelves to put our toiletries though, so we ended up placing shampoo and conditioner & body wash on the shower floor which was awkward, and we just ended up getting ready for bed in the bedroom.
Aside from that, everything else was great! The berth we booked was easily accessible by boat ramp in Noosaville. It was so easy to park the jetski and it was also secure.
The private beach was just peaceful! We didn’t have too many competition on the sun loungers 😂 The pool was divine and the gym was clean and well equipped 😊
Culgoa is about a 20 min pleasant walk to Noosa beach & Noosaville. We loved. Our stay here as it was away from the busy crowd but not too far from it as well.
Highly recommend this resort and we will definitely be back!

We were switched hotels last minute because of the Triathlon. The site manager attended to us despite it being his night off. He quickly got us into the Garden room which was a 2 bed apartment, helping with the cases even though there was a lift and giving us some chocolates due to the mix up. He also provided us with maps and directions to the supermarket to get stocked up before all the roads would be shut for the triathlon, he was super helpful. Very spacious and all you could need, a high standard of furniture and an en suite as well as a bathroom. Limited view of the sea but the whole complex sits on the narrow beach area and a marina behind. Sunbeds available and a short walk into Noosa itself which is good as the parking is scarce and the place was V busy. Nice pool with a toddler area and plenty of sunbeds with brollies. Very nice views and amazing sunsets every night from the waters edge. Parking is gated and safe with an allocated spot. Also the national park is a short drive away and has a few well marked out walks with great views and wildlife to see. Parking is very sparse and tight there so we parked on the roads a short walk away.

Do NOT recommend!! There are so many better options in and around Noosa. Please note this is an honest review of Culgoa Point resort Noosa. The resort is extremely dated, run down and the beach has dirty sand from the huge dredge that parks out the front. Our apartment ( premium beachfront) was anything but premium and looked over the sand dredge with no sunlight and a poor design. For example you have to put your toiletries in the bathtub as no bench in the bathroom. Grounds are not well maintained. There is scaffolding spread out everywhere as I imagine a renovation is about to take place of this tired old establishment. I did report the lack of cleanliness to the front desk who offered to send someone up to wipe it down. It did however require more of a clean than that. We would have checked out day one if we had not prepaid. The office staff noted that the premium apartments are all old and the deluxe ones are better. However at over $500 a night for the premium apartment we stayed in they need to offer a better quality product. Beware of this place!! Overpriced and very underwhelming.

We stayed in a roomy, two bathroom, two bedroom apartment (#33) and were greeted with just stunning tropical interior decor, top quality appliances and a lovely large kitchen. Everything was clean and I even found all the gadgets I needed to enjoy cooking the fresh market goodies I purchased. The main bedroom and balcony have uninterrupted close views of the river water - just stunning! All the staff from the cleaners to the front desk and the ground staff we bumped into were so helpful with local information, were cheerful and overall created a great atmosphere - thank you and well done! Highly recommend.

We stayed at Culgoa Beach Resort for a week and were very happy with our stay. The complex is very well maintained, has a large swimming pool, a spa, sauna and fitness room and a small beach. Guests can also rent stand up paddling boards and canoes. Our apartment was very clean. The staff at the reception and also the manager respond very friendly to the wishes of the guests. They are happy to help with information about activities and excursions in and around Noosa. Minor defects in the apartment are remedied immediately and to all requests the staff responded very flexible. A nice idea has to be mentioned specially: there is a small coffee corner near the reception where guests can make free coffee (Nespresso). The complex is about 15 minutes walk from the center of Noosa Heads. But there are buses practically every 10 minutes from the bus station, which is practically in front of the resort.

We stayed in Unit #32 a spacious two bedroom, two bathroom apartment with a private balcony overlooking the marina. The apartment was nicely furbished and the bed and pillows were so very comfortable to sleep on. The location is perfect, only 15-20 minute walk from Hastings Street. There is a Bottle Shop, Convenience Store, Rock Salt Restaurant, Rickys Bar and Mr Fish Cafe only a short 3 minute walk away. Lovely and quiet, very relaxing. Staff were very friendly and the service was very good. The only criticism is the very slow wifi that kept dropping out. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come back.
