Accommodation is ok but don't get fooled by some of the photos. We got a 2 bed on the ground floor way away from the main pool area that looked nothing like any of the photos I'd seen. I felt it is very over priced as I've paid less for 5 star hotels in Surfers paradise however I've been told that just Noosa. Room was very dated but seemed clean and tidy . Biggest problem was the lounge that i found so itchy that i couldn't sit on , not sure why. This 2 bed ground floor unit didn't have any views and overlooked a small pool at the side of the resort . Right on the main road and footpath, so noisy . To get to the small pool right in front of the unit was a bit weird as you had to exit the complex and re enter through the carpark .Location was good though as very close to many restaurants and shops. A little bit of a walk to the main beach and a quick Uber to the National Park. I wouldn't recommend this room. you know its one of the worse rooms when you are right next to the cleaning room . I chose this resort in the hope of getting partial views of a sunset. In the ground floor i was disappointed but up higher i would recommend this hotel .Just to note there are stairs everywhere , even inside the apartments, so its not mobility impaired friendly or pram friendly .

Review is solely based on the room we were allocated. Access to room is via stairs only, the room is very outdated and old and requires maintenance. The shower screen was unable to be opened fully and water pressure poor. The room appeared to have only been wiped down and not professionally cleaned, rubbish had been left in the bin from previous occupants. The lounge was marked and the curtains dirty and appeared the room had not been dusted for a number of months. The bed consisted of sheets and an old cover. Noise from other apartments and pool area could be easily heard even when doors and windows closed. This room was disappointing.

I recently stayed at this resort and paid extra for a room with a view of the resort. On arrival I realised I didn’t have a view apart from a fence and a supermarket ! I immediately went to reception to complain and was bluntly told by the manager the photos on booking.com were generic and if I wasn’t happy I was welcome to leave !! Of course I had no option but stay as it was too late to find an alternative. I went back to reception the next day and was offered another room. Unfortunately this was sub standard and also had no view apart from trees. I tried to negotiate the price as I had paid £100 more for the views but was told to take it up with booking.com. This is very poor service !, beware you will not get what you paid for !!

Hi dannyc932 and thank you for taking the time to post your review. Whilst I appreciate that you felt that paying extra meant a better view, that was not the case. The Superior apartment is named that way simply because it is better than the Standard, not that it is located in a better position offering you a better view. The photos on all websites, ours, this one and the Online Travel Agent sites are generic - there are no 2 apartments here the same so they're definitely not representative of any one particular unit, not does it state this on any site. I recall offering you the option to find alternative accommodation at no penalty if you were unhappy - you did not take us up on this offer and stayed. I did explain the situation to the staff at Booking.com and they accepted my clarification after checking the website. Additionally it was extremely difficult for us to assist you at the very late hour at which you arrived when we were already fully booked with no alternatives to offer you or to even show you! Regards Melissa Daniels - Manager

I payed for the Studio room, and I guess I visited in the quiet period, as I was upgraded to a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2 balcony, full kitchen, laundry etc. So I was pretty blown away when I arrived. The lady at Reception was lovely, polite, professional, and took the time to explain the map of the resort and Noosa in general.
An amazing resort, located in between Noosa Junction and Hastings St (also backs onto the National park). Everything was in great condition, was very peaceful with only distant traffic and the birds.
It's a shame I don't come this way often, but I will definitely be staying here next time, and recommending it to friends.
Thankyou for the excellent stay!

We stayed here for one night and honestly I would have walked out if Noosa hadn’t been so busy. We paid $320 for a one bedroom apartment which honestly was not worth more than $100.

Firstly, the apartment stunk! I don’t know if it was moth balls, or cheap disinfectant, or some other foul odour! I didn’t want to sit on anything!
I could not get the smell out of my nose.

It is soooo old and outdated! I would say maybe last renovated in the 70’s. The toilet seat was probably only 30cm off ground and felt like you were sitting on floor not to mention it was probably 30 years old! And the separate toilet was in the tiniest box.. so uncomfortable.

The mattress was awful! The springs felt like they had completely gone and you sunk into the bed to the ground.

And let’s not get started on the ducted air conditioning. The vents were full of grime and dust and was so loud, noisy and smelly that we turned off after 5 minutes.

Our apartment faced the pool on one side and busy street on the other. Trucks/cars revving up road all night and kids screaming at pool. Then people up all night with takeaways just sitting in pool area that can look straight into our apartment if we wanted to sit on balcony. There was literally no privacy at all!

Honestly, I did not even want to be in the room so we spent as little time in there as possible.

The only good thing is the location as we went to Light Years for dinner and could walk to Noosa Junction.

I have stayed in heaps of places all over world in 3 star range and I would have to say I would rate this as a 1 star.

Do not stay here!

An older property but very comfortable. We had a two bedroom suite which was very spacious. The location might not be in the high traffic area of Noosa but it is a short walk to most locations. The staff were extremely friendly and set the tone for a wonderful stay.

My partner and I have just spent a weekend in a one bedroom apartment here and found every aspect to be just fantastic. Even after having an issue with our booking agent giving the resort the wrong dates, the hotel were lovely enough to shuffle things around for us so that we could stay. Yes the buildings are a little older but in my opinion I think that really gives the whole place character, and the rooms (including the balcony) are so spacious and comfortable which I really don’t come across often. I will definitely be returning again for a longer stay!! Thank you to the team at Noosa International Resort for such a great stay :)

We stayed in a studio room for 2 nights and it was ample for what we needed. The hotel is a bit dated but the staff are friendly and there is a lovely large pool, with sauna, gym and games room. Location is excellent, walking distance to Noosa Junction and Hastings St. The studio room is small which is why it’s not recommended for longer stays. We would definitely consider returning to this hotel and staying in one of the apartments for a longer stay. It’s quiet at night and bed was comfy. Good water pressure in shower.

Hi EatPrayLove123 and thanks so much for taking the time to post your review - we sincerely appreciate it! The Studios are definitely only for shorter stays but obviously met your needs for just a short stay. We're fortunate in our location - the best of everything - close to both Hastings Street and The Junction without the traffic mayhem. We hope that we see you again when next you visit Noosa. Jim the hotel manager was fantastic.
Pool, spa, sauna, table tennis, pool table was everything that a family needs for a holiday.
Some older apartments and some newer ones. We had 116 which was a lovely new, modern apartment with a great view.

This is a hotel you’d expect to find in Bali or Thailand rather than Australia I think. It has a very unusual pool area where you can swim up to a Bali style hut and two very nice hot tubs in 1980s style, in the cobble stones. It is lovely for families as there is plenty to do but not great for older folk as there are no lifts are lots of steps ( being on 3 levels and also a slope). The apartment was spotlessly clean and the main area of it updated very nicely. However, the new tiles stopped at the door of each bathroom and they are very dated. I think they are slowly renovating the whole place but it’s perfectly functional and charming as is.

Hi Claire and thanks for your great review. You are absolutely right - you could be at any Asian hotel pool when you're staying here as it has that vibe. And yes we are slowly bringing an almost 40 year old resort into the 21st century whilst still trying to maintain the things that have made it special for so long. The stairs are a challenge for those that are less mobile (and small ones too) but if you can navigate the place then it's definitely worth it! We do hope that you consider us if you are back this way. Cheers Melissa & Marcus Daniels & the Team @ Noosa International Resort

Sorry for the late reply. Hotel is located on top of hill and there are a few steps from your room to the pool. Getting into Hastings street and beyond, use Uber. During holidays the council runs a free bus to the beach.
