The resort is in a great position at the top of the hill leading into the main drag of Noosa Heads. Great pool area with a large pool and spa. Our room was very clean and the beds comfortable but unfortunately there were some things which let the stay down and for these reasons we would not return to the resort or recommend it to our friends or family. We actually left one day earlier. As frequent travellers, this is the first time we have done this. There are some great places to stay in Noosa Heads which we visit often so will probably stick with where we know we will enjoy the stay. If you want some suggestions, please let me know. We had booked a 1-bedroom suite but found we were in a studio suite. We prefer to have separate areas so if one person wants to sleep in, they are not disturbing the other. I don't believe the resort understood traditional naming conventions of holiday accommodation and they argued the point that what we were in was an 'open 1-bedroom' which is commonly known as a studio. Just something to be aware of. Our room had lights that didn't work, a fan that didn't work, broken slats on the laundry door and a sliding door to the deck which could not be locked easily. I think I only managed it once which is not good for security. If you don't want to pay extra for pool towels I would suggest you bring your own as they charge for pool towels (not deposit which is refunded when you return the towels - but an extra charge). I think the resort has some positives and may be a good option when travelling as a group but unfortunately our experience was not a good one. Noosa Heads has a lot of great accommodation options so I would do your research before making a decision. It was so good to see so many people holidaying in the area and supporting the tourism industry. Hopefully things will continue to look positive going forward.

Very well located, with a lovely walk along Noosa River where you find many restaurants and cafes. The resort is very comfortable and clean with a kitchenette if you wish to have breakfast or a light meal. Will definitely stay again. The Managers Darren and Jackie are very friendly and willing to assist with any needs.

I loved the apartment I stayed in on the third floor. It had a rooftop jacuzzi overlooking the river and hinterland and also had a lovely covered balcony on the room level which had a great seating area for lounging on and reading in either the shade when it was hot or enabling you to still be outside when the rain came. Main living, kitchen, bedroom area was clean and spacious as was the bathroom. Yes I saw a couple of cockroaches but it is Queensland and the rain and humidity will bring them out!
The lady who checked me in and out was lovely with my room being ready for check in when I arrived after a long flight at 12.30pm and I was also allowed to stay an extra hour before check out which meant I was able to have my last swim in the sea. I didn't use the pool area much but was a decent size with large umbrellas.
Location is at the top of the hill which goes down to the main Noosa Heads area and it is a good 10-15 mins walk but most of it along a shaded boardwalk and you are at the right end of the beach for swimming and the national park. It was a shame the cafe/pool bar wasn't open when I was there but there is a pub/hotel across the road which does good reasonably priced food all day and Noosa Junction is only a 5 mins walk in opposite direction.
Overall I loved my stay here and would go back. I think maybe some of the apartments may be privately owned so this may account for differences in what state the apartments are in.

First of all, don't take my word for this review. Read the other reviews online and you will see the same threads going through most of them.

1) Cockroach infested. There was one in the bed, and one on the floor, which I had the displeasure of accidently stepping on, barefoot when I got up to go to the bathroom.

2) The bed is old and uncomfortable, as it sags in the middle - c'mon, how hard is it to provide a good bed? I mean that's what I paid $300 a night for isn't it?

3) The kitchen and dishes were dirty.

4) Very little privacy in the bedroom as you cannot close the shutters from the inside and there are no curtains, DESPITE the window overlooking the bath and bedroom!!

5) Bright lights streaming into your bedroom at night.

6) Thin walls - you can hear everything from people walking around above you. Don't get me started on people moving furniture and doing dishes. It is clear this building was made with BUDGET as the primary focus.

7) No staff here after business hours? (I thought this place was a 4 start hotel, no?)

8) Abrasive, old sheets.

9) Loud noise coming from huge fan outside my room, 24 hours a day.

10) You have to clean the kitchen and all dishes on your departure. You also have to remove your rubbish. Since when do you have to clean your hotel room, which costs you $300 per night, on departure? Am I staying at a 4 star hotel or Auntie Betty's house?

Horrible, horrible experience. I will never return and I cannot recommend. There are better places to stay in Noosa for less than half the price.

We arrived at the hotel at 10am, and although we knew check in wasn't until 2, there was no offer to hold our bags (we eventually asked of they could), or let us use the hotel facilities while we waited. Guests have to clear their own rubbish daily and take it to the hotel dumpsters, not what you would expect when paying such high rates to stay.

The room itself was pretty run down, sticky tape holding together broken bits of the spa bath, sliding doors are really difficult to open and close as they don't run smooth on their tracks, and just general wear and tear of a hotel which hasn't been upgraded in a long time.

The pool area is nice, with a kids pool that has a slide. There's a good gym too. We liked the location, sitting between Hastings Street and the shopping district with good food and drink options a short walk either way.

It's a shame that the hotel isn't combating its run-down nature with a better guests experience, otherwise I would have given a better rating.

A wonderful location which allows you to either walk to main beach OR the village and access all that each location has to offer. No need for a car. You can't really take a car to Hastings street anyway as there's never any parking. Easy walk from Main Beach to the resort OR they have electric scooters on site for hire. We book directly with the resort and can recommend the level 3 penthouses as they face away from the road, are quiet and have great views of the hinterland. The top level of the apartments has a spa which is ready to get in the moment you check in. It's hot up there during the day but wonderful at night to watch the sunset as the view is to the West. Friendly staff and nice cafe in site for morning coffees. Just across the road is the essential services you need, a liquor store and a pub that serves decent food too. Walk to the village is 5 mins and there's a Coles, other services (a great hairdresser I just discovered) and lots of cool restaurants that are budget priced. There's a pizza place called Somedays Pizza which is very good, and does take-away too. A wonderful stay I will definitely be back and ask for the same room.

What an amazing time we had at Noosa Blue Resort.
This location is a mere two minute drive to Hasting Street or a very comfortable 10 minute walk down the hill. The facilities at Noosa Blue are just fantastic. We made use of the gym, spa, heated swimming pool and steam room everyday. I just have to mention the heated pool and spa. Swimming in the heart of winter in a 2.7 meter deep pool was just the best and we enjoyed the spa in the morning and evenings. The coffee shop on the premises looked really good but having a self contained unit we didn't really make use of this service. Fitness classes in the morning on premises as well but we had our own routine. Secure parking. Friendly staff. Room cleaned as mentioned on longer stays. We cannot fault Noosa Blue Resort. You know you in a good place when you compare where you staying to other resorts close by and say to yourself, ours is better. I can't recommend Noosa Blue enough. Thank you for adding to our wonderful experience of Noosa Heads and surrounds.

We spent 5 nights at Noosa Blue Resort and we loved our stay.
Garden view room was very private and spacious for us as a couple, King bed was very comfortable. Balcony setting had a tropical feel with plantation shutters.
Main pool was big and a really great ambience sitting around under their huge umbrellas.
Café on site was very handy, coffee was great and happy hour good value for an afternoon drink or 2. Staff at the café were very friendly.
OK, its not Hasting St but we were so glad it wasn't. Not much on Hastings St really. Walk down was quick but coming back up the hill on a hot day was harder.
We had a car so we ventured out to Noosaville for breakfast because it was quiet with easy parking.
Noosa Junction is really close.
All the staff we met were great.
Highly recommend Noosa Blue Resort

I am extremely upset with Noosa Blue Resort. I booked an oasis One Bedroom Suite for my daughter, son in law and their 8 month old twin girls to have a relaxing holiday after enduring 120 days of Covid lockdown in Melbourne.
Does anyone think it is unreasonable that I assumed that the words bedroom and suite would lead me to expect that there was actually a bedroom in the suite? Well there is not a bedroom, and as a result my twin granddaughters are currently sleeping in their travel cots in an old and not well maintained bathroom!!!! Anyone with young babies knows that they need a separate quiet room to sleep, especially with twins.
When we checked in I went back to reception thinking their was a mistake and was told that I really should not have booked through the bookings.com and that I should have booked directly with the resort. Apparently I was supposed to phone the resort to clarify that one bedroom suite actually means a completely open sleeping, living, kitchen and laundry area.
Why does the resort list their property on Booking.com if we are not supposed to use it?
Because it is peak season there is literally no other accommodation available.
We were told that the manager would phone us but as yet we have not received a call.
The wording and photos in the room description very cleverly avoids the fact that there is no bedroom.
Pre Covid I traveled frequently and have never had such a bad experience. I was very embarrassed and upset that I had made such a poor choice for my daughter.

We decided to stay in Noosa for a week and we’re sucked in by the photos of Noosa Blue Resort roof top Spa Penthouse rooms.

We were checked into room 310 by lovely staff at reception. And the over night caretaker went out of his way to help close the broken blinds.

Unfortunately the unit we stayed in is in disrepair. It is quite dirty and extremely run down not like the advertised photos. The fan has a layer of dust, the fridge needs replacing. The floors and cornices are quite dirty. Then step outside and head to the upstairs penthouse roof top spa.

The whole are needs a high pressure wash and a clean as there is thick mould and dirt everywhere. The furniture sun lounges and umbrella are faded and broken.

I managed to see the Penthouse next door and it seems to be in better condition.

It’s a nice walk down to Hastings but back is up the hill- still very enjoyable and only 10mins! Stayed in a king penthouse, good size space between the living/bedroom area. The in-room spa bath does take up some space.

Hi, all the rooms on Level 3 are very quiet. The only noise is usually the bird call in the morning - not at all unpleasant!

Yes it is heated. The beach is 400 metres away. The walk is up a hill but the compensation is the views and lovely breezes
