We were driving Melbourne to Adelaide and the accommodation was picked by our travel agent. The location was great but it was only a bedroom on the second floor of an old (beautiful) house. Certainly not for travelling families.

Oscars Waterfront Boutique Hotel, though housed in a beautiful building, is not, by any reasonable definition, a hotel. It is a bed and breakfast. No staff on duty except for breakfast and check-in and then checkout later in the day. No bar. No restaurant. No help with luggage…
Stayed only one night but enjoyed stay very much. Great reception by the host, Judith who helped us very well. Our room was very spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was great - good choice and very well prepared. Don’t forget walk to Griffith Island
