definitely one of the best locations in mooloolaba. Seems it is 100 metres from everything.Older resort with everything you would expect on site spa pool, gym etc.
Strongly advise you to pay the little bit extra and book the 5th floor as you have private access to the roof top with spa bbq dining area etc.

Spent 3 nights in a 2 bedroom unit. Location is amazing for the price. Unit was good size for the 3 of us and had everything we needed (including washing machine and dryer). Pool great but totally shaded in the afternoon so gets cold. Unit was not ultra clean (sand and scum in shower, balcony covered in sand and dusty) but quickly cleaned it and enjoyed our 3 nights.

What a fantastic location, staff helpful and friendly. The rooms are value for price and most are updated. If you ask for upgraded room you will get if available. The rooms have smoke alarms and as they are smaller you just need to close laundry door which is no bother to most smart people. It’s a great price for area.

Ill start off by saying nothing is perfect, there is always room for any one to be pick just for the hell of it, so i have added some pictures just to clarify and add some undeniable reality to my review.

We booked for a 5 night stay, but could not stay in what I can only call a health hazzard for more than two nights. The more we were in the room the more it became evidant that it was far from clean. We were planning to call up the manager Maureen to discuss the poor condition of the room and the odour that pervaded through the bedroom when my wife had tracked down the cause of the odour! she pulled back the bottom sheet exposing the mattress protector to be confronted with fecis stains all over the mattress. To be honest at that point the mould on the balcony. the rusty leaking air Conditioner, the dirt and dust on fans and Window Sills faded into the back ground! ( We packed) I explained to the manager Maureen who gave me a logical explination for the general dirt which I had taken pictures of.
Maureens response was reslly professional and customer orientated.
Idont know how how that slipped through she tounge in check replied! I was angry and pulled out the big guns and showed her pictures of the mattress and stated it looks like fecis dont you agree I asked?
Yes it does she replied. not be put off her stride and in full support of staff and company image she gave me that proffessionale reply that seemed to sering so easily to her lips.I dont know how that slipped through! ( Really in this day and age ) I complained to Bookings Dot Com who were kind enough to reimburse some of our costs as they agreed the room was not up to standard, I'm only hoping Maureen used what they kept to purchase a new mattress and hire a profesional cleaner! They say buyer beware in this case its guest beware!

The pool and bed was the best part of this unit. Very comfortable mattress. Can't say much about our experience there. One cake of soap to go between the shower and the sink for two of us. Two bottles of shampoo and no conditioner. One bottle of shampoo was half empty and the cap was loose, so it had previously been used. No face washers. The desk is only manned at certain times, so we couldn't go and ask for what we needed. The air con was so old it was black and crumpling underneath which we had to look at above us while we sate on the balcony. The curtains in the bedroom were about six inches too long for the glass door and so old and yellow. To top this off, there was an emergency evacuation as the smoke detectors are very sensitive. This unit is too expensive for what you get. We won't be back.

What can I say. I walked into this place and cried. When you are looking forward to a holiday and the apartment is nothing like the pictures advertised let alone clean. To say the least very disappointing.

This holiday did not start well with the car park. Very small car parks and hard to get your car in and out of spaces and the steep decline into the car park is lot for the feint hearted.

Our room was nothing like the pictures for a one bedroom apartment as we walked in. It was very upsetting as It was very small. The furniture was minimal and really old and uncomfortable. There were no table and chairs inside and you had to eat on your lap.

The bed was so hard we could not sleep. By the third night of our 5 night stay we could not stay another night. Our bodies were aching from the terrible bed and we left for home.

The balcony was very hot due to the air conditioner unit and there was no privacy. If you walked out on the balcony you were looking straight into somebody’s room and people in the pool thought you were looking at them all the time.

The curtains were filthy dirty and hadn’t been opened in awhile as they were stuck to the rubber backed decaying curtains. The bathroom spa bath was dirty on the bottom with mould in the grout.

The kitchen kettle would not open at top and you had to fill up through the spout. The frypan was really dirty and greasy and the kitchen overhead cupboards had grease under them and the crockery was old and there were cracked cups.

I would never stay here again and would not recommend this place to anyone it’s time for a complete renovation to keep up to standards.

This place speaks so well of itself on its website and the photos give the impression of a clean, modern, fresh look to the rooms.
This could not be further from the truth. It is a tired, run down establishment and the manager (I'm assuming that's who it is), along with her partner are equally as tired and run down. There is an attitude that is quite patronising. The bloke when questioned can get quite aggressive (I had to stop myself from firing back).
The room we had wasn't clean at all. You can clearly see years of built up grime everywhere. Torn, filthy curtains. Stains on walls and ceilings. Seriously this whole place probably hasn't been maintained with any real care since it was built years ago.
If you have to stay here, then it is what it is but if you can find something else, do so. I would not come back to this motel again.

We were very disappointed with this resort. The apartment was very old, not very clean and had extremely uncomfortable beds. The spa bath/shower was nearly impossible to climb into and very dangerous to climb out. In our bathroom there was no rail to hold onto. Myself and my elderly husband had great difficulty. Parts of the vanity had started to rot away due to water damage. It appeared there had been painting done at some stage but paint spills had not been cleaned up. We were evacuated twice while we were there because steam from a bathroom or cooking fumes had set off the fire alarm. There were signs outlining requirements to close all doors when cooking (even toast) and when showering you were required to wait until the steam had dispersed before opening the doors to the bedroom. There was a potential fine of $1400 if you set off the alarm. This was not a relaxing environment. The pool area only had sun for the morning. For the price we paid I did not feel we had value for money. The only positive I can share was the location. Would not return.

Most surprised that you didn't enjoy your stay. We do advertise very clearly that showers are located above spa baths and if you required a walk-in shower, a simple request could invariably resolve the issue. We pride ourselves in our standard of cleanliness and the majority of our more perceptive and appreciative guests acknowledge that fact. In fact (and not untrue) the majority of our guests are return guests who value our customer service and the condition of our facilities. Fire Alarms - we have a wonderful and fully compliant fire system within the building which in fact has been upgraded to new state of the art technology earlier this year and we are more than happy that it works exceptionally well for the safety and wellbeing of our guests. What we cannot control is some guest activities that are thoughtless and trigger false alarms. That is why we include signange around the facility to remind guests that their actions can cause inconvenience for all. Sorry about the pool but we are unable to relocate the pool to a sunnier position. It is ideal in the summer time when most people tend to enjoy it. We are a three and half star facility and are priced accordingly. I suggest that you seek five star accommodation in future and pay the extra tariff. Happy you found our location great but, sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay and happy that you will not be joining our long list of satisfied return guests.

Firstly I want to state that we had booked through the resorts own webpage. We stayed 1 night and thankfully that was it! The positives: Location is awesome for those that like the beach and want it close. You can walk to everything, no need for your car. Check in staff were lovely. Foyer was clean. Apartment was spacious and that’s where the positive ends! We were meant to have a garden view, however we didn’t. Room on sight looked clean. However on looking to see if the bedroom TV was plugged in there was about 2 inches of dust behind the tv unit. There was some substance on the bedroom tv, the same behind the bedside tables. The ceiling fan in the bedroom had no knob to turn it on and was actually taped over. I was struggling to sleep and so grabbed the spare blanket from the cupboard to lay out in the lounge. The next morning my husband discovered that the blanket was actually filthy. If you want peace and quiet this is not the place. We were kept awake till 12:30am by people upstairs walking around, pulling out chairs and talking loudly. We were then woken by children screaming at 7:30am and room doors slamming. Rooms are outdated and belong back in the 80’s! This is 2 stars at best. I have stayed in places for half the price of Nautilus that give this place a run for their money! Do not waste your money on this place!

We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment for a single night while passing through Mooloolaba. The location was brilliant; close to restaurants, the Surf Club, beach. The price was cheap compared to other places in the immediate area. Maureen who greeted us was kind, warm and helpful. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable. We didn't really use any facilities as such, however the pool area looked clean and inviting based on the view from our balcony. The kitchen seemed to have all the required utensils and appliances. My only critical comments would be that the Kitchen decor may have been a little dated, and one of the doors was a little loose on the hinges. However neither of these really mattered. I would definitely stay here again.
