Wow, what a find. Our stay was fantastic. The accommodation was 1st class, very spacious and clean. Very comfortable and quiet and in a very good location at the top end of the esplanade. The reception were not particularly helpful but this may have been because this was an apart-hotel and didn't really need to interact with us very much. The warning notices in the apartment regarding possible additional charges were slightly off putting.

We stayed for 5 nights and were thoroughly impressed with the apartment. We had a two bedroom ocean view and it was stunning. Balcony that overlooks directly onto the ocean and an additional balcony in the main bedroom. The apartment truly caters for 2 couples, both bedrooms are spacious and have ensuites directly connected for maximum privacy. The apartment was modern and beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable for a nice long stay. The included movies and robes really set this place apart as a great choice. Also extremely handy to have a washer and dryer. The location in Mooloolaba can't be beaten and I would highly recommend staying here. We would happily return, the service was professional, warm and friendly also. The only thing to be aware of that the underground carpark has THE tightest exit I have ever seen in my life, the huge chunks taken out of the concrete wall by poor previous drivers are proof of this! If you have anything larger than a Micra, be prepared to sweat coming out of the carpark.

Great location and nice 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment, however we were placed on level 2 above the pool and close to the road so it was a bit noisy. Had to move our car onto the street for basement cleaning but it was running behind schedule so we had to move it again the following day. We didn’t receive enough milk, coffee pods, tea etc for the duration of our 5 night stay - we were invited to purchase more of these basic supplies from reception or go to Coles. Coffee pods were not nespresso brand and the machine (nespresso) sometimes didn’t puncture them properly. Nice place to stay overall. It was a nice touch to be given a care package of hand sanitizer, mask etc and the hotel strictly observes Covid protocols which is great. Our apartment and the common areas were very clean and well maintained. Thanks for a nice stay!

Great apartments, we had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit, with a sea view from the deck which gave us amazing views of the sunrise.
The unit was very clean and had everything we needed for a 6 night stay, dishwasher, washing machine, ironing board and easy car parking, comfortable bed & pillows.
Guess the big let down was the pool area, didn't look exactly like the pictures on the website, and certainly wasn't conducive to relaxing and reading around with small children jumping in all the time, thank goodness for the beach is close by.

Booked this hotel given it was nice and new. Arrived, building was nice. I knew we booked a rear room, however upon checking in we found our room to be at the rear corner of the building with a balcony which was totally an utterly unusable. Recessed quite a way in from the buildings edge, if offered no light and was located directly over the gated underground car park. All you heard was the creaky, rattly gate opening and shutting constantly, not to mention the exhaust fumes from the vehicles waiting to enter, rendering the balcony unusable. Limited windows offered barely any natural light. Had to use interior lights.
Mentioned the location to the reception staff who were polite and said they usually advised of location, but we booked online, no such luck. Should have been a storeroom, not an apartment. Also has a very large electrical box outside the apartment. Extremely overpriced for what it was and very disappointing. It was the only apartment in the building like it, therefore when you book this particular room it should come with a warning about the location. The architect should answer for this as it is a very bad reflection on the building

Response from Alicia Cavallin, General Manager at Breeze Mooloolaba, Ascend Hotel Collection
Responded 21 Apr 2022
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of the One Bedroom Ground Floor Apartment that you booked for your recent stay with us at Breeze Mooloolaba. This room type is displayed on our website showing pictures of the apartment, as you mentioned, this is the only One Bedroom Ground Floor Apartment that we have so the pictures do show an accurate representation of the accommodation and can be viewed when booking online. As you stayed over the busy Easter Weekend rates were at a premium and we were unable to offer you any alternative accommodation, however notes on your booking do mention that you were offered another room type with Ocean Views prior to your arrival that you declined due to the additional cost. We hope that you were able to enjoy the rest of your stay in Mooloolaba.

Awful outdoor balcony setting, mouldy, stained. Small balcony, rusty metal stools. Just Yuck. Complained same day as check in and never heard another word although told 'will speak to General Manager'. Also told 'other units have updated their balcony furniture', well that didn't help our 'luxury' stay. 5 adults and could hardly move on the balcony. On the Esplanade so be aware very noisy, not peaceful at all (but we knew this). 3rd bedroom, not a bedroom as no cupboards to hang or place away clothes, and pull out squeaky sofa bed (we also knew it was a pull out). On the positive, the place was clean enough. I felt the main room sheets weren't crisp enough, the air con kept cutting out, windows didn't open past a few centimetres, so no natural breeze in the bedrooms and kitchen. Mat was stained and there were things under the lounge. The pool on site is so small that if 2 people are in it, you feel like you would be intruding by using it with them. At 2k for 5 nights, it wasn't good enough that I'd ever feel the need to revisit. We've travelled a lot and this unit 503 was just disappointing, mainly due to the balcony space and condition.

Breeze Mooloolaba, is situated in the best location, right on the esplanade, and in the heart of Mooloolaba!
Our 2 bedroom apartment was absolutely exquisite! It was modern, comfortable and perfectly clean and had AMAZING ocean views!
You have access to great bars, restaurants and shops, and the marina, where you can book fantastic cruises!
Big shout out to Jan and Kim who went above and beyond to help us surprise our daughter for her birthday, they truly exceeded our expectations!
Thanks again! We will definitely be back and recommend!
Best regards, Andrea and Kevin Craggs

Be wary when booking here. We booked a premium ocean room expecting decent ocean view like front facing apartment photos on website pictures. What we got was a pokey corner balcony with barely any view from any of the living spaces. How this can be advertised and charged at same rate as other rooms is a joke. It didn't help the woman at front desk was in my opinion surly and frankly has no idea how to treat paying guests. We will not be back

Response from General Manager, General Manager at Breeze Mooloolaba, Ascend Hotel Collection
Responded 19 Mar 2023
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your recent stay with us at Breeze Mooloolaba. We are sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations on this occasion. The hotel has 2 apartments in the ‘Two Bedroom Premium Ocean View’ room type, one is Front Facing and one is North East Facing. Pictures of both rooms are shown on our website and all third party sites, showing the view from both apartments. The apartment that you were allocated was the North East Facing Apartment on our highest floor, level 10, with extensive views all the way up the coast towards Mount Coolum. We strive to ensure that we meet and exceed our guests expectations and am sorry that we did not do so on this occasion. We would love to have the chance to welcome you back to the Hotel in the future and feel free to contact us directly so we can allocate the best available apartment for you.

Excellent excellent. Wife and I and two adult kids had a WONDEFUL 3 night stay. Just two things. One can be improved the other possibly not. The kitchen bin is the size for one person. I a bathroom. Just bite the bullet and rectify. The swimming pool is WAY too small, you are unable to swim (3m x 3m size for all those rooms?) as is the spa, the size of a small round bath tub. 3 persons max or legs may be, er, intertwined..... Design fault. We know the beach is over the road, but the safe part is a 15 minute walk east..... anyway, was a great stay, great location, exceptionally clean and lovely receptionist.

Nicely set up appartments, well appointed, roomy, clean and well designed. Friendly and helpful office staff, we rang early to ask about early check in, we were told at present it was 2pm but they would text us if our room became available. We received a text and we’re able to check in early. Thanks. Our only complaint about our room 104 is the noise the gate to the underground car park makes, made it very hard to sleep in. Recommend these apartments but try and avoid room 104

No but very close to the main streets of lots of restaurants
Hello Jeanette if you ask for room 803 you will have a great view loads of room and I felt that it was money well spent . I will defiantly be trying to book that room again in the future .
Regards Tim
As most places do they say they can’t guarantee a high floor. 1 beds don’t as they look away from the beach. 2 beds have partial views and 2 bed with an extra sitting room do have full views. A north side room has the best view and at least level 4 or up will see water.
