Detailed Reviews
The team and management at Burleigh Beach Tourist Park is beyond reproach for service and quality, the park is always well cared for, and the facilities are exceptionally kept and clean. They always are looking to enhance the experience when staying there, as they often get in different food and coffee vendors and novelty ideas for the kids. Staying with them is a must for a good family holiday

The Burleigh Beach Tourist Park is a small, well-maintained caravan park, perfect for family holidays. It isn't overly busy, and is extremely close to the beach as well as downtown burleigh. The staff are all lovely, which is shown in the perfect facilities. Showers are clean, hot water and decent water pressure too. Would certainly reconnmend this park for everyone.

A group of us in vans & a villa were here to celebrate Australia Day. Management were very helpful in keeping us close to each other. The park is well maintained with nice flat sites. Staff kept the sites tidy between visitors. Most sites were easy to access. The amenities block was very clean & modern. BBQ's & picnic tables were always cleaned by staff if guests failed to clean up after themselves. When we inadvertently stayed an extra day, management were very polite & helpful. There are loads of nice walks with beach showers, water fountains & shade galore. Across the road is a lovely grassy park where we sat & socialised with friends while watching the surfers until dusk. Plenty of good shops, bars & eating places within a few minutes walk. We will definately be back to camp here again.

Be aware that roadworks are in progress to lay new tram lines. If you are a light sleeper good luck getting to sleep.
Roadworks start at 1:00am and the constant grinding will keep you awake!
Stayed here as it was near the beach and on our way home.
Reception staff are very friendly and helpful.
Position is great for beach goers.
Amenities are clean and modern.
Camp kitchen, which we didn’t use was strangely up 3 flights of stairs, it needs upgrading.
We had car trouble and couldn’t get repairs finished until about 1:00pm, upper management was not sympathetic and said after 12:00pm it would be another $40, thanks but no thanks, appreciated you being understanding, not!.
We had to hitch our van and take both it and the car to Helensvale.
Overall one night would probably be okay, but $60 a night I wouldn’t recommend unless you need to be close to the beach and can sleep thru the roadworks

Responded 17 Nov 2023
Hello Megabucks, Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We are glad there were many aspects of your stay you did enjoy such as our great beach location, friendly staff and clean amenities. Unfortunately, the current Gold Coast roadworks are out of our control, we do advise this in our booking correspondence. We are sorry if you feel our nightly rate on a short stay is overvalued. We do offer cheaper rates for longer stays and out of peak times. We believe our rates are on market trends and very reasonable for budget style accommodation in this very sought-after location here in beautiful Burleigh Heads. It is because of our desirable location that our occupancy rates are high and we tightly manage our availability to be fair to people wanting to stay with us. We do have to challenge some aspects of the account you have given. You noted to our staff your car troubles were ongoing from previous works and not of an emergency nature. Your car did pull your caravan out that day. We did offer you a free late check out until 12 midday of which you kindly accepted. You had indicated earlier that you might stay an extra night so we had held the site for you in good faith while you decided what to do. When you decided not to take another overnight option but to request a late check-out instead for the late afternoon, we outlined the option to pay the half day rate of $29.50 for extending your stay after midday. We try to provide a customer focused service that is equitable to all our customers and effectively manage our sites to meet the significant demand of people wanting to stay at Burleigh Heads in affordable and pleasant accommodation. We wish you safe travels. Lara and Scott Berryman (Park Managers) and the team at Burleigh

This is not a bad site and is not the first time that we have stayed here.
During the school holidays, the site becomes quite expensive and yet there is no Wifi available for patrons. I consider this to be unusual as most other sites have Wifi available for guests and in some cases these are far smaller operations than this site.
The good points about this site is the access to the beach and shops. The bus stop is handy to the site and will connect you with Main Beach, Pacific Fair and Robina or if you want to go south, you can connect with Coolangatta and the airport.

Hello Nevillelea, Thank you for sharing your experience, we are very pleased that you do enjoy our location and it has drawn you back for another stay. Burleigh is such a beautiful part of the world; this highly sought-after location makes for a perfect Gold Coast getaway! It is very fortunate we can offer various types of accommodation here is this amazing location including caravan/camp sites, cabins and vintage/retro vans. At present there is no WIFI at the park, we are looking into this. For the time being our reception staff can direct guests to the closest ‘Free WIFI’ zones in Burleigh. We do hope to welcome you for many more stays in the future! Lara and Scott Berryman (Park Managers) and the team at Burleigh

What wasn’t there to love about this park. Beach right in front of you, super efficient friendly helpful receptionist staff. Large clean bathroom facilities and laundry. Games room fir the kids. No need to use the car so many eating places within walking distance, take the bus to surfers paradise. We tried the Surf club and the Pavilion had a lovely lunch and dinner , had a drink with never ending views of the ocean and surfers paradise in the distance. I noticed very few cars driving in and out of the park which i attributed to the location and easy walk to everything, made me happy because kids could scoot bike and play around the park safely👏👏

This park is value for money. Across the road from one of the best beaches on the Gold Coast, Burleigh Beach Tourist Park has clean facilities, friendly staff, and although it’s near the Gold Coast highway, it is very quiet. The sites are very generous for even the largest of caravans, and people in tents will not feel left out. Everything you need is within walking distance, and you won’t pay an arm and a leg for this fantastic location.

If you thinking twice about booking here , just do it! It’s perfect from the clean & comfortable cabins, to the fantastic location for beach, restaurants, Coffees, runs& National park walks. It ticks all boxes.
The park is just perfect for kids & their independence!
I wanted to take some time to specifically call out the professional, friendly & most accommodating staff.
Kylie is fantastic each & every time I engage with her she has been so flexible & accomodating. Thank you Kylie!
Lara & Donna - always smiling & willing to help. Thank you
Scott - fantastic customer service. On day one we realised our cabin didn’t have bbq utensils, I sent Scott an after hours text to request some the next morning. He insisted on dropping some off that evening & he did!
For a tourist park you sometimes don’t expect this sort of service but having stayed in all sorts of accommodation locally & internationally from 5 star hotels to camping, I can stay its experiences like these that make you return to an accommodation site.
Guys thank you! You continued to help me through my future travels plans for my friends & family and I appreciate the flexibility & accomodating approach.
We will be returning for sure & next time with a larger gang of friends! More than happy to bring you business as you make each & every stay a memorable one for my family.

We recently had a family get together for a week at Burleigh heads and stayed at the Burleigh beach tourist camp
We had 2 cabins and 2 caravan sites
Well kept camp , clean amenities and very friendly helpful staff , well run park , very close to the beach
Good surfing and close to lots of restaurants, cafes, shops .
Good walking into the national park and along the beach with playground equipment for young children
Kids on skateboards , bikes etc
Extremely busy , car spots hot to get as it was school holidays . Lots to do on the Gold Coast if you want to go further afield , movies, bowling , theme parks etc
It poured a couple of days for us unfortunately but all 8 grandchildren went to a trampoline place to use up some energy others went to outlet shopping and I got a haircut , plenty to do !
Not far from the airport if you fly in , buses close by to get about
So in all top spot for families
