My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights with a luxury escapes deal. It is truly a beautiful resort and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment and this was well worth the extra money as it was huge, had a fully stocked kitchen and separate bedroom and living areas.

The pool and grounds of the resort are well maintained and the resort is built around a number of beautiful local trees, adding to the experience. We had dinner in the temple of tastes restaurant and the food was first-class with excellent service. Breakfast every morning was very generous also with yogurts, fresh fruit, pastries and a hot plate of food. We also had a couples treatment at the vie spa which was heavenly.

The staff here are extremely friendly and accommodating at all times and very knowledgeable about the local area and things to do. The resort is in an ideal location between cairns and port Douglas meaning you can enjoy both areas very easily.

My only minor criticism (and I stress very minor) is that I think the resort could use more staff. I waited a long time to check in as only one person was on the desk, and service at dinner/breakfast or at the lagoon bar was very slow at each occasion. One more staff member in each situation would’ve made a lot of difference. The resort was not busy and it was outside of school holidays. I stress this is only a VERY minor detail though and really didn’t effect my experience at all. I will be recommending this place to my friends, colleagues and family and we will certainly be back in the future!

This hotel certainly has the WOW factor as soon as you arrive. Beautiful entrance and lobby area, opening up to a really well designed pool area with a variety of pools and places to relax so you don’t feel like you’re on top of other guests. Even the way the rooms are laid out around the resort make you feel as though no one else is around. We only stayed one night but we wish we could have stayed longer! The hotel knew we were staying as a bit of a “babymoon” treat to ourselves before bub arrives and they had a beautiful & fresh fruit platter waiting for us on arrival. We saw quite a few young families with young babies so definitely think we’ll return with bub one day. It’s great that there are three pools split into different age group needs, like the large but shallow baby pool, the family friendly warmer temperature pool that’s surrounded by chairs for parents to keep an eye on their kids and the deeper/cooler lap pool nearest to the pool bar for the adults. Plus the fact that the resort has kept in place the large gum trees and lots of vegetation around the pool really helps with keeping noise down and improving relaxation. Breakfast was delicious - and service was exceptional. Beach is only a few steps away from the resort, and Palm Cove restaurants are only a 5-10 minute stroll away. Thanks for a lovely stay! We can’t wait to return - and definitely for longer next time!

This hotel is an amazing place and we looked forward to our week stay in August. The staff are still great with Ben and Maree in the restaurant at dinner and Lisa and Margaret for breakfast. Sadly the gourmet mediteranean breakfast is no more due to Covid. Now a limited menu is offered and brought to the table. Before we could make coffee and enoy it piping hot, but now it was only warm by the time it reached our table. I loved the omelettes before but no more. At dinner too it was so sanitized with no candles or pepper and salt or cutlery, thanks to Covid. In our room the fridge was bare apart from some milk and when we ordered water it came in small bottles only. Everywhere there were signs saying "feel together but stay apart". Sadly Covid spoiled our stay and not sure if we will return.

My partner and I stayed for 2/3 weeks.. me for 2 and her for 3. We had a 2 bedroom apartment on the second floor. Her kids had their own room and bathroom and we had a large bedroom with en-suite. The beds were very comfortable and the balcony was a nice place to relax and in particular winding down in the evening. The daily housekeeping was great and the ladies were very friendly and always asked what we had done the previous day.

Natalie on reception was very welcoming and made us feel at home. Craig Dodd the GM was highly visible and happy to assist in anyway he could.

The poolside cocktails are great and the Mojitos were on point.. I am told the Strawberry Daiquiri ( not on the menu but made for my partner) was perfect.

The breakfast staff were great and did well accommodating people to the "COVID rules". Many thanks to Ben and Rengani ( I hope I spelt her name right) for their attentive service, sorting food for fussy kids and daily local knowledge tips.

I can also recommend the Spa. All wonderful ladies I had a massage with the delightful Margot that did wonders to my back.. Stupidly I did this on my last day, I should have done it earlier in my stay and more than once... If you stay here go to the Day Spa on site, do yourself a favour.

My partner had stayed twice before and this was my first stay but we loved it and will be back.

Where to start for our ten night stay? We arrived on 23rd December and were greeted with cold towels and juice at the reception which was lovely after a day of travelling. We got to our studio room which was 227. It was a nice room and a great view over the resort. On the 24th December we were given two Christmas biscuits and a Christmas card from the resort. This was such a nice touch. We also had a hot stone massage at the Vie Spa and that was lovely and relaxing. We really enjoyed just relaxing around the room and chilling out for our Christmas break.

Christmas Day we went to the restaurant for Christmas lunch. The food was lovely and it was a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant with bon bons for everyone and the staff were great and very friendly and it must be hard to work on Christmas Day but they all did it with a smile on their face. On Christmas day the assistant manager rang us and offered us a free upgrade to a penthouse apartment which we took. The new room had a spa, bbq, table and sun-baking chairs on the rooftop as well as a kitchen, washing machine and dryer, full table and lounge area. The bathtub was huge as well. It was a lovely thing to happen on Christmas Day.

We really loved relaxing in our new room as well and watched a lot of cricket while we were there on the big tv in the lounge room. The room cleaners were very efficient and friendly and were great at doing their job even if we were in the room watching tv.

The staff overall were very friendly and enthusiastic. This included the staff at reception and the staff at the restaurant. They started to remember our breakfast orders everyday and they were always served with a smile. The only con about breakfast would be that there is no change to the meals. We had the same food all 10 mornings of our stay. It would have been nice to have a special of the day or a different yoghurt or something.

The pool was lovely and warm to swim in and was used quite frequently every day by people staying at the resort. We also got some cocktails by the pool and again the staff were efficient in getting all the drinks made as there was always a long line.

Also at this time of year they have activities arranged by the resort. Things like an ice-cream cart, free wine and cheese tastings, a wildlife expert with her animals and a playroom with an electronic game set up and board games and ping pong. Christmas trees and decorations were also throughout the resort. This made the visit all the more special and we certainly took advantage of most of these activities.

Overall we had a wonderful stay here and would recommend it to anyone. The staff, the rooms, the service and the amenities were great and we had a fantastic stay. Thanks to everyone at Pullman and all the staff who worked so well over the Christmas season.

Hotel had booked in a wedding party the Saturday evening prior to the Ironman event which played intolerably loud (and particularly bad!) music making it impossible to sleep. Whilst I congratulate the happy couple, I would not recommend to future Ironman competitors - or check what other events they have booked in prior to booking. Despite its great location, I would suggest one of the smaller hotels in the area would provide you with a better nights sleep than this bigger resort, which did not seem be able to balance or judge the requirements of its guests.

I was very excited to stay here however when I stepped foot into the place I was not welcomed at all. I was asked what do I want and I said I’m checking in and it went down hill from there. She rudely said that the room we have is the last one knowing that it was the worst room in the place right above the restaurant with no view I will also add I booked directly with the hotel as well. The room was big however the furniture was appalling. They had out door furniture inside and there was no outdoor coffee table just some cheap old egg chairs and a day bed that needed a good clean. At this point wished I booked with Peppers instead.

On there website it says they have porters which we did not experience and they did not have 24 hour room service which is false advertisement and misleading.

On the first night I realised the aircon was not working in our room I told front desk they said someone will come up and have a look. It was not fixed no one came up to the room to have a look at it. I then asked if I could have another pan for cooking as the self contained kitchen was basically bare bones they told they would check but never got back to me.

The pool bar was closed for most of our stay due to weather but the bad weather was really only on day and there was lot of guest who were by the pool and had to walk to the restaurant to get drinks.

My checkout was messy as well they tried to overcharged me for upgraded room when I already paid for it in full when I arrived.

I would not recommend going here with the money they charge service should be better!

The Pullman Palm Cove has all the attributes of a fine resort. The outdoor pools are situated so all can have a relaxing time by the pool without being disturbed. The rooms (spa type) are spacious enough for two folks with a separate bathroom/shower. The balcony while small is still ample enough to sit and read the paper in the sunshine. Closing the door offers a quiet room, even one overlooking the pool. One small thing (must be because of the tropics) there is no exhaust fan, no worries just use a towel as we did. The included breakfast (A La Carte) appears a little restrictive first up but the staff are relaxed about portion sizes which was most appreciated. One thing on the staff (Jessica @ checkin & Ben @ breakfast) they are all first rate and add to a great stay. Be back for sure, maybe at Port Douglas next time.

A beautiful property right on the beach at Palm Cove but far enough away from the main thoroughfare to feel very quiet and exclusive. We really enjoyed what was a huge, well fitted out, luxury apartment - excellently equipped kitchen, lounge, balcony, master bedroom and a very spacious bathroom. it wasn’t cheap for one night in the high season but we felt worth the splurge. The Sea Temple Restaurant was very good and the massive pool area that is a feature of this resort gorgeously well lit at night. We had spa treatments and again very good. There were a few minor things - it’s a compact resort and because the rooms all face in towards the pool it can be a bit noisey at night, depending on the location of your room and the neighbours. The air conditioner needed a clean and the pool area also would have benefited from an early morning gurney. We really enjoyed our stay.

Last week we enjoyed a 5 night stay at the Pullman at Palm Cove - unfortunately it was also an extremely wet - very heavy rain for 3 days!!! So we didn’t get to really enjoy the lovely pools at the resort. Nevertheless we certainly enjoyed the wonderful food at the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner.. I would particularly like to praise the efforts of the hospitality staff and chefs to meet all the various dietary needs of the eight people in our group. They were particularly obliging in ensuring I could have gluten snacks eg: made me a ham and cheese salad toasted sandwich on gf bread which wasn’t even on the pool bar menu and they baked the fries instead of frying them in oil to avoid cross contamination. So nice to eat where staff know how to meet coeliac requirements. Well done.

Hi.i didn’t stay in a ground floor room so can’t really answer that.from memory the pool access rooms had steps into the pool , no ladders. There is only one restaurant at the hotel and it’s fine dining . Very nice but unable to get burgers etc at dinner time . You are able to get burgers fishn chips etc from the pool bar at lunchtime. The pool access rooms are on the opposite side of the resort to the restaurant. The resort is a 5 min walk into palm cove.
