we just loved it. the chateau is very nice, quite old with walls 2 meters thick on the foundations. you really feel history there. nice swimming pool outside. very friendly staff,.
be careful though: this is a real b&b with limited service and really in a remote area, so it depends on what you want.
overall an excellent stay, i loved the historic feeling of the place.

The Chateau de Charge will not let you down. I stayed here while taking a bike trip through the countryside and cannot imagine a better experience...and for a great price!!! The chateau is completely renovated with gorgeous taste and class. The rooms are spacious and equipped with every amenity including coffee, tea, and L'Occitane soaps. The grounds are manicured and lovely for taking a stroll. Wild cherries grow nearby and the property is close to amazing vineyards with the best of wines. The food served at the Chateau de Charge is top notch. For a very reasonable price you will be served a four course meal made with local fresh ingredients. Breakfast is served every morning. The best part of this property are Charlotte and Jerome. This couple has not only done an incredible job in restoring this piece of history, but they are warm and welcoming. I cannot say enough about them. They went out of their way to ensure every detail was taken care of, including my ride back to the train station. Thank you both for your hospitality!

My wife and I stayed here whilst driving from Paris down south and wanted the experience of staying in a chateau. We were not disappointed. The chateau has been wonderfully renovated and is set in the countryside. Huge rooms with metre thick walls with views of the chateau or surrounding countryside. Breakfast was excellent.
The only drawback was that the chateau's dining room was not open for dinner and you had to drive to the nearest town for a restaurant

What a wonderful find! I read the excellent reviews and can confirm wholeheartedly this place doesn't disappoint. The rooms are charming, spotlessly clean and full of character! There are wonderful touches including complimentary soft drinks and best of all, toys for children.
The food is lovely and my little boy loved eating with all the other guests' children and of course Jerome and Charlotte's children.
Dinner for adults is a very enjoyable affair. Little ones are put down to sleep and baby monitors work so you can leave your little one sleeping soundly while you enjoy a wonderful meal, a glass or two of wine and a good chat.
