Exclusive beach front hotel directly on the marvelous Playa Coson. The hotel was built with love and understanding of the natural beauty around it by it's owners. The long and crystal clear waters of Playa Coson and the evergreen of the mountains in the back makes this place unique and wonderful where you can spend your next holidays. Once here you will not want to leave... The main house has 4 private beachfront bedrooms and 2 family suites. The Villa Colonial is a replica of a Victorian Style house with four bedrooms and private kitchen. It has been finely decorated with nice furniture and colorful tissues. In the back there is a magical round private Casita Mexicana. The swimming pool is in the middle of the park, facing the beach. The garden has long chairs, hammocks, private seating with sun covers, tables to play chess or cards. There is also a first class restaurant that serves delicious juices, drinks and French, Italian and International cuisine. It also has delicious pizza. You can enjoy a massage in the gazebos's garden or in your room or you can walk for four miles surrounded by hundreds of coconut trees, golden sand and refreshing water. What are you waiting for? We stayed in the Casa Bali, a cute sort of two story cottage, check in early was no problem and everything was smooth. Had a decent lunch at the Cafe there, the Mojito was actually exceptional as was the capresa salad. The lower kids room had an air conditioner which was a blessing as it was hot, the master bedroom upstairs was just too hot the first evening, so we slummed with the children, second night it was tolerable. Had a little issue with cleaning, they rectified at once. Some fixtures and in general need some attention, beds are sort of OK linens were fairly worn. In reality it should be about 30% cheaper for the current condition. The Coson beach is spectacular, residence grounds, pool and lounges on the property are well kept and very comfortable. Very nice folks.

When you think about where you want to stay to relax, enjoy really good beach scenery and have delicious food, Casa Coson is the archetype. Every time my husband and I come to Coson we make our reservations here. They make us feel just like home with an upgrade, which is their outrageous gastronomic menu and boutique chic rooms. The staff will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and help you have just about anything you want. Doña Marcia and her husband will make sure you feel right at home and will start the best conversations. Also, there’s Gaelle, she is amazing and will make sure you are having the best time.
Honestly, there’s no other place I’d rather be. Perfect scenery, beautiful Caribbean blue front beach, stunning design, delicious food and the best Aperol Spritz in the entire island. Can’t wait to be back!

Really well seasoned, well prepared, good ingredients, generous portioned tasty food. But the two cats there will beg for food whole time and even scratch and jump on you to get food. Please, do it at your home but do not feed animals from restaurant table.

The hotel's ambiance aligns with the images displayed on the website; however, the amenities are poorly maintained. Unfortunately, the main pool was unusable due to its dirty condition.
Regarding the accommodation, I deliberately selected the "Comfort Studio," advertised on hotels.com to accommodate up to 6 people with a size of 160 m2, featuring 1 King Bed, 1 Queen Bed, and 2 Twin Beds. Regrettably, the actual room did not match the description, and it was misleading. Instead of the promised amenities, we received a small hallway, two cramped rooms, one of which had a broken lock. This experience was a misrepresentation, and I would not choose this hotel again nor recommend it to others.

The attention was great at all times. Small, cute and in the middle of nature. Hearing the sea so close from the room is something priceless. The restaurant is very top, the cook (David) strives to ensure that his diners always leave satisfied. This corner of Las Terrenas is very cozy and recommended for those looking for something to disconnect from the resorts. In any case, you can find more complex infrastructure and surf tourism in Playa Bonita a few kilometers away. I recommend at least a couple of days in this hotel.

Casa Coson is ideal for a break from the city. Direct access to Coson Beach, where you can walk on the sand with peace of mind and enjoy the turquoise waters! I chose this hotel for a reason, because it is pet friendly, and honestly, I didn't have any problems. I was able to cross from the hotel to the beach to walk my faithful friend!!! I asked to change my room to one with sea views and a terrace. The rooms are simply decorated, but comfortable. Of course, the air conditioning leaked water and dripped on my pillow, and they never came to correct it. Breakfast is sparse, with three options, continental, American or Dominican. One morning I opted for the Dominican, and there was no mangu, which surprised me, given that it is what is most abundant in the Dominican!!!! The ladies at the breakfast service, not very “helpful”. You can order food on the terraces during the day which is quite basic, but edible. What stands out the most are the sea views and direct access to the beach. They have to update and provide more services in the facilities.

The best hotel and Beach You can find i Samana/Las Terrenas. Its been owned by a very nice French guy for the last three years. The beach is very clean and secluded, You practicly have the beach to your self and a few other guests. I can’t understand why people stay at crowded all in inclusive resorts in Punta Cana when You have a paradise like this. I stayed with my two youngest daughters for a couple of nights and they loved it. The hotel is located on the beachfront so You literraly just open your door and jump in the ocean. If You plan to visit Dominican Republic, skip Punta Cana and check in to this golden gem of a hotel and enjoy a pice of paradise.

We had an amazing lunch of seafood: the fish soup, grilled whole snapper, and the trilogy of ceviche. Staff was friendly, location was like eating in a beautiful garden overlooking the sea. The food was fresh, well prepared, and most of all delicious. The super-fresh “Caperina” was made with fresh lime, and local white rum.
We will definitely be going back!

If you want to have the worst vacation of your life, this place is for you! I stayed 3 days in the colonial house (the best one in the hotel) and there was no water in any of the 3 days! I complained a lot and they always told me "it will come back in 5 minutes" and it never came back. I asked to be sent to another room, but that didn't happen. After complaining a lot, they moved me to a room and guess what? The room was flooded, obviously I refused the transfer, the room was impossible to enter, it was flooded. In the end I had to stay in the colonial house for 3 days without water, with dirty dishes, the plugs didn't work well either. In resume, a horrible experience. They refused to refund me, I asked to speak to the superior, who was not there and did not answer my calls or messages, chaos. To make matters worse, the hotel employees were collecting water from the pool with buckets and taking it to the restaurants, for what? I don't know exactly, but I found it curious!

Cannot beat the location. Restaurant seems to have a new chef and was the best lunch and dinner we have had over many times visiting the cafe on day trips. This was our first time staying the night, the "Colonial Villa" didn't have hot water, the air conditioner didn't work well, and the kitchen wasn't as clean as I like. So it was a little rustic. However, we overlooked that to enjoy the beautiful house and beach. They told us that renovations are coming soon.

Absolutely, you have Don Luis within 5 minutes walking by the beach, and 20 minutes by car you reach playa Bonita ,that has many restaurants ,atlantis one of the best
Dear Karen,
Thank you for your interest in Casa Coson.....The best way for you is to rent a car directly from Punta Cana airport or a taxi driver for 400 US$/way (around 5 hours driving from here,...) Don't forget that we're NOT working with Expedia so take care of this!!
Best regards
