Born as a dream, we embarked on an adventure in late 2003 filled with excitement and a desire that we still haven’t lost. Almost eight years have passed and through dedication and passion, we have become a true Oasis in the heart of the Caribbean. In the town of Las Terrenas, on the Samaná Peninsula, located in the northeast of the Dominican Republic, you will discover a tropical paradise, where we can help you organize an endless array of activities. We offer comfortable apartments in the middle of a lush tropical garden, where you can relax and unwind, just a short walk from the beaches and center of town.In early 2010 we opened Boomerang, an individualized fitness center, where you can do all sorts of physical activities, such as, Pilates, Spinning… and work out. We can also arrange a relaxing or therapeutic massage, always with qualified personnel. We hope you enjoy an unforgettable holiday, in a place where, as they say here, "a Dios se le fue la mano". "It was God’s hand."Bring your enthusiasm and desire to have fun, we’ll take care of the rest.

Excelent hotel in Las Terrenas, Samaná. RD, family atmosphere, ideal for long stays. Tropical garden, great apartments and tranquility assured. An important detail: no children hotel.
It's a PARADISE!

Hotel Oasis is a true as the name says A True Oasis, we didn't want to leave. We stayed in a second floor unit overlooking the most peaceful garden. The hotel was so quiet for sleeping at night. When you awakened early in the morning all you could hear was the roosters and the bull frogs calling. The pool was so quiet and peaceful.

The owner Raul and all his staff were so helpful and kind. My wife and I were travelling from our Condo in Punta Cana for a 3 week holiday in Las Terrenas. Raul organized all our bus travel to Las Terrenas and our return back to Punta Cana, he was so helpful. I have never stayed at a hotel where the owner looked after you so well.

Raul also organized a quad rental for us for two weeks with Dario Rental. Dario was so professional and looked right after us and provided us with proper insurance. The bike was new and clean and was delivered to the hotel to us. We had so much fun with it.

Thank you Raul for everything, we had the best vacation. Las Terrenas is truely a beautiful place and combined with a stay at Hotel Oasis, it was the best vacation every.

We are looking forward to seeing you again in the future.

I have the oportunity to travel to Las Terranas just about monthly, i love this site for its beaches and restaurants and just quiet an safe. This week end was packed in town so my regular hotels were not available and i found Oasis, slightly off the main strip but close to town and 200yds from the beach its next to La Dolce Vita down the dirt road. Nestled in a secluded area with beautiful gardens its more od a bed and breakfast or apart hotel than hotel. If you want a quiet avg place this is it, no frills a bit aged, but very clean and nicely equipped with large bedroom bathroom and kitchen living room. The balcony deck is great for lage night or early breakfast. The pool is avg and clean, could use a new coat of paint but really no big deal. The linen is a bit old but fine, the bed avg, they installed new plasma TV this week so nice. Wifi is ok in the room and free. Dont expect service to be right there and with everything available, this place has residents and guests and about 8 room suites, so even though everyone is kind and helpfull staff is very limited. This is a bit of a place that leaves you alone and you do your own thing, walk to town 10mins and buy your pastries and breads at the french bakery and dine at the many local european restaurants, or go shopping and fix your meals indoor in the small kitchenette fully equipped. The beach directly in front as you leave the little road from the hotel is tiny but part of the main beach that spans 7 miles, so walk to your left 200 yds and there younwill have the perfect size beach wide with palm trees etc... overall positive experience, my only critic would be that in time the beeding needs updated ane bathrooms, but for what you pay you cannot go wrong. Comparative properties are down the street towards the center of town. Enjoy.

I found Oasis Hotel through google maps, and I'm glad I did. I was looking for a not too expensive hotel with a kitchen so that I could cook most nights I was in Las Terrenas. It was exactly what I was looking for and exactly as advertised. It was affordable, safe, quiet, and nice. The kitchen was equipped, the bed was comfortable, and there was a TV and wifi when I wanted to be distracted from a book. The pool is lovely, it's less than a five minute walk from the beach (close to many restaurants/bars that have lounge chairs on the beach), and Raul and Tony are both so so helpful. Raul helped organize a taxi to meet me at the airport. Plus, after emailing that I was interested in taking dance classes in Las Terrenas, he connected me with a dance school and made sure that I was enjoying it and enjoying my stay. Overall, I definitely recommend this hotel and if and when I come back to Las Terrenas, I will definitely stay there. It was a wonderful, relaxing, and easy weeklong vacation!

The hotel is located about 100, 150m away from Punta Popy beach inside a really beautiful garden.
The swimming pool with the view of this amazing garden is very relaxing.
The owner and the employees are very friendly and helpful. They gave us good tips about the place and helped us with everything!
The hotel is very well located. You can go walking to a lot of restaurantes in the main street and also those on Pueblo de los Pescadores etc.
The apartment is very "caribean style" with the vivid colors and has a small living room, a kitchen, a room and a bathroom. Simple, but very comfortable.
I definetely recommend to stay with them!

My family and I enjoyed our 5-night stay at the Oasis. It's only a short walk to the beach. The pool was closed most of the week, but owner Raul kindly offered us a deal for our next stay. Carlos and the rest of the staff are really nice. We'll definitely be returning!

Location is good 1 block or so from the beach and main road where all the restaurants are. You can find the motoconchos also on the main road in case you want to go into town or don't want to walk to isla de pescadores. The grounds are very nicely landscaped and it's nice to seat in your terrace early in the morning and hear the birds sing ( make sure you use repellant for Mosquitos)
The bathrooms smell musty even though they are cleaned daily, the bed is on the hard side and full size in case you're used to a queen or a king my boyfriend and I happen to like the smaller beds. The closet is not meant to hang dresses. The kitchen is functional and somewhat equipped I just wish they had a coffee maker which is a standard in every hotel room in U.S. A blender would be awesome. The wifi didn't work inside the apt. only in the terrace and only sometimes. The pool is small but nice and clean, they provide beach towels just ask at the front office. Carlos is very nice and tries to help out in every way. Overall, the place is clean, functional and in good location. Don't think it's a 5 star or even 4 by American standards. But you can't ask for anything else for the price.

This hotel is just as advertised and reviewed. Very quiet place. Enjoyed morning coffee on the porch. It is a quick walk to the beach. Rooms are clean and neat. Air was cold. Enjoyed being able to use the kitchen. Great stay. Will definitely stay here again.
