This is not an all inclusive resort so if you want restaurants and drinks included, this is not the place for you.
The grounds were extremely spacious and well-maintained. There is a gym and a game room if you need it. The grounds are quiet and there are a few bars and a handful of restaurants within walking distance but bring comfortable shoes.
The rooms have jacuzzis and full kitchens so bring snacks and drinks. All in all, this is a wonderful place to come with the family

My Family and I just left Balcones del Atlantico and our experience was wonderful. Great location at portillo with a free access to the beach. The room was a One bedrom apartment wich my wife loved because of a beautiful and modern decoration, Always clean and the smell was so fresh. The furniture is well equipped with excellent conditions fridge, stove, washing machine, etc. Jacuzzi was ok, just little salty water at it. Service was amazing, quick response to any need we had always on top Of us. I highly recommend this place.

Unit was great clean and very well located. Unfortunately, the washing machine did not work nor did the hot water and Jacuzzi have hot water when I contacted the maintenance area they came out immediately but informed me that the machine was broken. They did take my clothes and clean it at their laundry facility which I was very appreciative but the owner should really consider replacing it as as it is a inconvenience for guests and staff

Balcones del Atlantico is the best place in Las Terrenas. A magical place to be with your family and friends where environment and security are first. Costumers service is also first priority for their guest so we are happy to choose Balcones to spend couples days. Porto restaurant is one of the best in the area, food is amazing.

I think it’s a little bit expensive for what is offer. It seems like the stuff is not trained to be attentive, they are very slow and they have to be asked to do things like preparing the beach chair. Things in the room seems to be old and need renewal. Even though the beach is very nice and the food it’s good.

Excellent service. Friendly and efficient staff. Very clean rooms. The territory very nice and well organized. Five minutes walk to the beautiful beach. In ten minutes drive will reach a fish market for fresh sea food. Will definitely visit again!

It’s my 4th time coming to Las Terrenas and all those times I’ve stayed here . The reception has outstanding service Kirsi helped us out a lot , she’s very kind and attentive. The rooms are amazing honestly , very cozy , clean , and comfortable. The area that the complex is located is perfect as well I get the best of both worlds … peace and relaxation but if I wanna have fun the place to be is close by . To wrap everything up I HIGHLY recommend staying here .

We booked the hotel (they say its a hotel, but it's a condo). Very expensive compared to all the other ones. We arrived, in a Covid time, my husband and I, and there was a line of 30 cars waiting to get in. I looked around looking for the "Exclusive access beach" they say they have... But its also not accurate. Anybody could go to the beach.... The "condo" was on the other side. As we reached the front desk, there were 25 people together not wearing masks, a real mess... As it was our turn, i looked to the person and asked why their ad said it was a hotel? I didnt want to stay in a condo, much less with all that people. I asked to talk to the manager, she wouldnt come. I wanted a refund. They told me to go through Expedia. We are talking $1400. I had to find anotger place to stay, during easter, in the Dominican Republic. I NEVER got a refund. Not any appologie letter, or voucher. This stablishment should be closed fown for the lack of conditions receiving tourists+ lack of transparency in whatever they advertise. Its HORRIBLE!

The property is a condominium were you can have access to a beautiful and comfortable apartment fully equipped, with kitchen to prepare any dish! You will have access to the common areas and there is a restaurant just in front of the property where you can buy any meal as well.
It is not a Hotel, so it doesn't have the programs or activities that all inclusive hotels have.
