If you are looking for a self-sufficient apartment, with all of the necessary amenities, super clean, fresh and new, ultra modern and a consistent theme of being on a luxury cruise ship...this is the place. The rooms were spacious and very well equipped with top of the line furnishings. Luis and Juan at reception were both informative, friendly and helpful in every way. A fiesta on Saturday brought everyone together for a meet and greet with a complimentary drink to get started...the infinity pool on one side and another pool and lounge area on the other side with a bar. Great place for relaxation. We were 2 families with children and we were very happy with everything. I would suggest this is better suited for adults, but it is also family friendly. Review the pictures, they are all accurately describe the rooms and area you will be staying in.

Downstairs a small commercial area with restaurants and a convenient bank machine and 30 seconds from the beach. Restaurants close by, all within walking distance.

We really enjoyed our brief getaway and look forward to returning to Puerto Plaza Hotel really soon.

My friends have stayed here several times in the past and loved it. We came for a long weekend and stayed here and it is very nice. They are doing some renovations thought out the hotel, so some room have been renovated but not all yet. The staff is very friendly and the room rate included breakfast in the morning. It was walking distance to several beach areas, restaurants and shops it was in a great central locations.

My family and I loved the property, great location and good find for the price. Breakfast was included in our rate and it was great. Good nearby restaurants too!

The only downside side is there are no elevators and amenities in the room (soap, shampoo etc) were on the low end so bring your own, otherwise it was great!

We stayed at the Hotel for 11 days, they advertice the hotel as a 5 star, but I would only rate it is 3 star. 1 star for cleaning, 4 for service from the frontdesk, and location close to the beach.
The rooms has daily cleaning, and one has to call te reception everyday to tell them when the room is ready for cleaning, we did that and the only thing they did was making the bed, we asked several times to have the floor cleaned, or filling up soap, and we even had to go to the reception to ask for toilet paper, sometimes they didn't empty the trash. One day we came back to our room and they had left the gas on in the kitchen so we had to air out our room for long time.
We asked to borrow an iron board and as you can see on the picture we got one, but as you can see it was of no use.
The hot tub at the balcony is not a jacuzzi, it is only a hot tub, and we were never able to use it, since the warm water was not enough to fill it up.
For the price and the fact they advertice it as 5 star, I would recommend you to find another place to stay.
The breakfast was nice, you go downstairs to the bakery which is very good.
It is not a hotel I would recommend, and I would never return

Response from Alice Bunetto, Dueño at Puerto Plaza Las Terrenas
Responded 7 Aug 2022
We deeply regret that we were not able to meet your expectations. We really see that your comment does not make much sense. First of all, you make a reservation on a page called Hotel.com for 6 nights and from your arrival we offer you all the attention. As you ordered, the cleaning staff cleaned your apartment every day and you never complained to the reception about this supposed case of cleaning. It is difficult for us to understand how you went to the hotel reception to make a new reservation for five (5) extra nights at our hotel. This makes no sense to anyone since no one in their right mind adds more nights in a hotel they don't like. Something that we also noticed was weird are the complaints about hot water and other things. If a guest doesn't report a problem, the receptionist on duty isn't a psychic to guess something's up without anyone telling him. According to we would like to inform you that at this time, the level of satisfaction obtained in terms of the quality and variety of the service offered by our hotel is very high according to the opinions reflected on our website.

TERRIBLE! I'm surprised it even has positive reviews!!! DON'T GO THERE, the hotel is located in front of a disco that won't let you sleep and under the windows there is a busy street with scooters all night long!!! The price is excessive for the conditions of the structure and the terrible location!!!! If you want to enjoy the sea and rest this is not the place for you!!!

The hotel is very well located, and all the staff was amazing.

I had the best pizza ever, I was surprised by the flavor and quality.

Definitely will come back, of course, Las Terrenas itself is simply out of this word.

Front desk staff, the best.

Excellent location in Las Terrenas, a stone's throw from the center and the beach. Excellent bar for breakfast, lunch and dinner on the ground floor. Clean rooms, reception always open. The style of the structure is beautiful: they look like two cruise ships attached

Quite picturesque, it is a hotel with a shopping center.
It has no own beach, you have to move to a good area.
Central, a couple of places to eat quite acceptable.
Pool and other amenities.
As a reference point it is striking because of its boat shape.

Apartaments in Peuro Plaza Hotel are very comfortable, I definitely recommend this hotel. Rooms are clean and tidy. Everything was perfect during my holidays. You've got everything what you need, nothing is missing. There are lots of shops, laundry, pharmacy, restaurants, bars and a disco nearby hotel. They serving breakfast in italian restaurant. Food was fresh and very tasty. If I will come back, I will choose Puerto Plaza Hotel again ❤️

This hotel is truly beautiful, our apartment was situated at the back but we still had a partial sea view. Large terrace, very nicely decorated living /kitchen, very comfortable king size bed, plenty of wardrobe space. Superb bathroom with walk in shower.
The television comes with Netflix, which was appreciated.
Breakfast was in a small cafe downstairs and the food was very good, great croissants, fresh juices.
