Three stars fits this nicely appointed and clean hotel. We choose this hotel because it was out of the way and it was very nice stay. Private and secure parking is always important to us. A huge rain storm kept us from venturing to a restaurant, but the extra kind staff showed us a pizza place that delivered and saved the day! Rooms are clean and comfortable, though modest. Staff gets top rating for their assistance.

Checked in around 2:00 am after an exhausting and trying day in Portugal, and the front desk person spoke English which was appreciated as not a lot of Portuguese speak English. Reservation was supposed to be for two nights but next day learned it was only made for one, but they took care of it without a problem. The free morning breakfast had plenty of options, fruit, pastries, ham and cheese, much better than the bland free breakfasts in the U.S. Room was clean with a balcony, bathroom was clean. Only issue was that there could have been more outlets for recharging batteries and stuff, but all in all a pleasant surprise. Our bill for 2 nights was 72 euros, about $77....a real bargain! Would recommend this to anyone.

I stay at this local hotel once a year, when there are fairs to attend to in the vicinity.
It's very central, close to several restaurants, very easy to find and get to. A plus - has private parking.
The prices are very reasonable. The staff have always been helpful and nice.
Breakfast has fresh produce (though I'm not sure they're local) and variety.
Will be coming back for sure.
Good value.

Room Tip: Rooms from the second floor up are always better - less noise coming from AC and kitchen.

It was our first time in Almeirim and we choose this Hotel because it was the only one in the town. We have stayed in 4 stars hotels at the same price we have paid for a twin room in this one. Despite breakfast is very good, location and parking very nice, beds were very uncorfortable. Staff is very warm and nice, rooms and common areas is very clean.

There are 2 wings, the original old and a more recent part of the building. Rooms on both wings are clean tidy and more than you can ask for the type of hotel/price. Breakfast offers a good choice of fresh fruit, cake and bread.

The staff is fantastic and more than helpful.

Room Tip: Choose the Deluxe wing. it is only a few euros more but worth the cost.

The Hotel, despite having friendly staff, needs major intervention as a whole, it is very old, dark and without a Bar, decent and modern Suites. It doesn't deserve 4 Star status, I was very disappointed with the breakfast, very bad.

Hi Daiga, yes, it is possible to book a twin deluxe room with balcony. You need to ask for the room with balcony when you make your reservation. I think there are 3 deluxe rooms with balcony (102, 202 and 302). The difference between deluxe and standard is the decoration and equipment. The deluxe rooms are on a more recent part of the building.
