I had a fantastic week at Seachange Coolum. I booked a one bedroom unit but was given a two bedroom unit although I didn't require a second bedroom, this gave me a unit that was very spacious. Was very impressed with how spacious this unit was, particularly the living room and the two balconies. The apartment was clean and on the top level so had some lovely sea breezes. The staff were helpful and friendly and the price was very reasonable. A lot of places on the Sunshine Coast are charging too much I think especially at the moment during the pandemic, so Seachange was offering a very reasonable price. The two pools that they had were fantastic as well with a 25 metre heated lap pool and spa. Being so close to all the local shops and only a very short walking distance to the beach, Seachange is a great location for a holiday.

We recently enjoyed a 4 night stay in a beautiful 2 bedroom Deluxe Apartment with Seaview Rooftop. It was spacious and had a great outlook. The lift made access easy with luggage and as there were only 3 apartments using this lift it was never crowded or busy. It had been carefully prepared and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The electric Bar B Q on the balcony was an added bonus. Easy walking distance to cafes, supermarkets and the local surf club and hotel, it was easy not to venture far. The bus stop is only a couple of hundred metres away with a regular bus service both north to Noosa or south to Maroochydore. We regularly stay on the Sunshine Coast and now feel this is definitely the right accommodation for us.

Overall this resort has mostly positives attributes to relate. As in the case with these apartment types they are mix of residences and holiday apartments. The pool area is a definite plus with lap pool, beach and spa areas well maintained. Each block has its own lift so great and speedy access. The apartments are noisy with any banging door shaking the whole building to its foundations so not a quiet place to stay. Apartment could be cleaner. The private roof terraces are an interesting feature. The dishwasher in our apartment had broken seals.

This 'accommodation provider' does not care if your plans change due to COVID, their response is 'it's been around for 2 years, we don't care'. Absolutely disgusting. When asked if we could put a friend into the accommodation for the cancellation policy we were given a response that they have a 2 night minimum stay (the cancellation is 1 night) and we could p0ay another night and then put someone in there. No option of a date change or any other option given. Absolutely disgusting. If your plans could be impacted due to COVID, DO NOT book here. If you don't like bad customer service, also DO NOT stay here under any circumstances. If you have kids staying in the 2nd room of a 2 bedroom apartment, don't stay here as unsafe.

Kerstin, your reservation through booking.com clearly stated the cancellation policy of 5 days prior to arrival. You planned to arrive from overseas into Queensland which, at this time, does not have an open international border. You knew MORE than 5 days from arrival that you were not going to be able to stay and we were not able to fill all of the vacancy left by your cancellation at such short notice. It is extremely difficult managing any small business during COVID and cancellation policies are in place to protect the customer and the apartment owners. I understand you are upset, but your accusations are false and your claim that the second bedroom is unsafe for children is completely untrue. You have not stayed here, so you cannot comment on the apartments or our facilities! The majority of our guests are families with small children. I'm not sure why you would make this statement.

Richard welcomed me on arrival. Friendly and easy going. Told me he had given me a roof top unit, which was great. Good sea views, overlooked pool. Only issue was cleanliness. It wasn't good. I did mention to him that the sofas were filthy, sand, food stuff under cushions. He had it cleaned when I went out. But there was more, I just didn't want to complain about. As he is a great guy. I'm thinking the cleaning staff just don't do a good job. Bathroom sink and shower grotty and grimy. Floors littered with dust, not mopped. Countertops with food residue. Same for coffee table and dining table. I had to go and clean these items. Dust thick behind furniture, inside lamps, side tables, mirrors filthy... cleaners need replacing.

we had a two bedroom apartment with a rooftop spa. we found the apartment to be very large. plenty of utensil's if u want to cater for yourself. couldn't believe the rooftop with its different seating areas with tables and two different balconies which lead off the rooms:) great for following the sunshine:). loved all the three different pool types. it was lovely to sit in the spa and have a view of the hinterland and sea perfect. didn't have much interaction with he managers during our stay Richard checked us in nice and easy showed us how to get to our room, saw Michelle on our departure they were both extremely friendly and were great with response times with emails before our visit. the road out the front can get busy as its one of the main roads. only tiny negative i have but its purely because I'm a clean freak that there was dust on top of the microwave and the dining table was sticky. but was good after a couple of wipe downs. and saw dust under the sofas and entertainment unit but it could be settling dust depending how long it had been between guests and the t.v. lead in the bedroom had lots of dust on it. but like i say its just me .but other than that lovely and clean. we had to cut our stay short due to lockdown restriction's coming into effect in Melbourne:( would stay again when in coolumn. loved the view from the room. and we wish Michelle and Richard well with the business

This was a great place to stay . It was fairly convenient to the shopping strip and the beach, jus a few minutes walk. The proprietors were fantastic too and very willing to help with anything we asked for. Our apartment was bright and airy and a great size for a family. The bed was very comfortable too.

Our second stay at Seachange and just as pleased this time as the first. Fast and efficient check-in, friendly welcome back from Michelle and Richard. Love the view of the tropical setting around the pool from our deck. Just a fantastic place to sit back and relax. All rooms accessible via elevators, so no struggling up stairs with luggage. Undercover parking, which was great as we had a storm come through in the middle of the night.

Very good value, clean and quiet. Short distance from centre of town but still easy walking distance. Pool area lovely. All ammenities needed in a self contained unit. Secure parking. Two balconies. Comfy bed and spacious living area

We just spent 4 weeks at Seachange and had a wonderful vacation. Our two bed two bath suite had a large living area and deck plus rooftop with hot tub. Very clean and tidy. Underground free parking .
The pools were perfect. The grounds were beautiful and clean. Walking distance to all you need. About 300 meters to beach through Bush path across the road. There were limitless hiking opportunities and great restaurants. We didn't want to leave. Coolum Beach is indeed a special place. Thank you

The apartments are all fully self contained with their own laundry and kitchen facilities. The apartments are serviced on stays of more than 10 nights.
There are more places to choose from in the Coolum Beach area.
