Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

When we arrived it was a very warm reception we received, and the check in process was very quick. The room was relatively basic but it had everything you could need; tea/coffee facilities, air-con, cable TV, fridge and it was clean and tidy. The shared kitchen area was a nice surprise and that was also very clean.

The other guests seemed respectful and there was no noise during our stay, it was a short walk to the main supermarket and into the town and beach area. We used it as a base to go to Noosa as it was much cheaper and the bus stop was only a minutes walk away and came every 30 minutes.

Overall, it was a great place to stay whether you are exploring Noosa or Coolum and I would definitely stay again.

The accommodation was very clean and well priced. It is a room with bed, shower and toilet with air con well situated in Coolum. The people who run it/own it are really friendly and make you feel welcome A couple of imperfections in the room but nothing worrying. We enjoyed our stay and would go back. Thanks for having us.

We had a lovely stay here for a couple of nights. It had a chill, cosy vibe, was really clean and had great facilities, plus the owners ancient cat was adorable and keen for a fuss. It was a great location for accessing the local beach and village, as well as Noosa. The only downside for us was the ceiling fan was either too slow or too fast; and that the pool hadn't been recently cleaned so couldn't take advantage of it.

Due to Rona, trip to WA was canceled so stopped off here for a couple days on way up North on road trip. Left it late to book, had seen a couple of apartments at twice the price but they got booked up as I waited to check the weather would be good. Good value for money, I had an en-suite room, they are fairly basic but bedding and towels were great, and room was spotless.

We booked a twin room with ensuite for 2 sisters. Room was clean and had coffee/tea making facilities as well as a small fridge. Beds were comfortable. There was reverse cycle air conditioner. There is also a shared kitchen for guests although we didn’t use this but it looked clean and well stocked. I was pleasantly surprised to find an iron which I used. The first time we stayed I accidentally left my AirPods in the room which the cleaner handed in. The only downside is there is limited parking and we had to park on the street. Despite this our stays have been pleasant with no noise at night. There is a pool which we didn’t use on either trip. This accommodation is definitely our go to place if we travel to the Sunshine Coast.

Rude af! Will not be back. Tv was to loud and got abused. Got accused of drinking when I wasn’t. To top it off got a room with air con but there is no sign of one except the sign telling me to turn it off. Kitchen amenities are pretty good though. They gotta share stove top, no oven though. Honestly would’ve preferred a hostel!

Very nice staff and very affordable price for basic needs and equipment. Exactly what we needed at that time as spontaneous travelers. Not directly in Noosa or on the Sunshine Coast, but good compromise anyway. Also, the blinds were broken so we had to put some towels on the window to sleep.

Needing a last minute place to stay, we walked in and paid $80 up front. The room was dirty, used towels in the shower, and gritty floor. We chose not to stay and returned to the desk for a refund, having been in the room for less than five minutes. We were refused the refund, were told that they didn't want "people like us" staying there anyway, and then they accused of using the bathroom (we certainly did not - yecchh). Rude, insulting and nasty owner/managers and definitely not clean.

Arrived at 6.30pm, received a cold welcome because their closed and we're late, the sign clearly says their closed at 7pm?.

Room was like a shoe box, double bed, very little room to move around in for two adults, small box like tv on the wall, good thing it had austar and a heater. no shampoo/conditioner for guest use, little pricey for deluxe with budget room facilities, couldn't see where the 'deluxe' part came in??. Service, linen not change, it was clearly soiled and not made up, floors not vacuumed.

Service was appalling, tried to close the entry door to keep my little girl from going out (toddler) only to be shouted 'don't touch the front door, leave it open' when the sign again clearly stipulates, do not leave the door opened, close the door???'.

This place is more like a back packer hostel than a motel, clearly deceiving advertising.

I would not recommend this place for couples or family, would be suitable for backpackers.

It appears that this place is now called "Coolum Budget Accommodation". It's a kind of Motel. This place is close to the beach and a quick walk into Coolum town centre. It's handy and the price is right. We got several rooms during the January School holidays for around $140.00 per room. These were double rooms with bathroom. There are other deals to be had if you look on last minute.com etc.The rooms are very basic. They have everything you may need. Bed, tiny fridge, towels, TV and bathroom. There are cheaper rooms that have share bathrooms. The bathrooms are clean and there are several on each of the two floors. The one problem I had with the place was the manager. He was a close talking nosey man who was like a Sargent Major. He was there at every turn, day and night. Unfortunately he is racist and runs the place for his own convenience, with strict kitchen schedules, and very early check out. if you are staying it is hard to sleep in as there is a lot of shouting and talking outside your room as they clean There are a multitude of rules and he makes sure that you abide by them. Still, the place is neat and close to town.
