Nice camp ground let down by very disappointing customer service. Vehicle access was a regular problem during my family’s stay. Office staff were incredibly unhelpful with the coded access gate and demanded that we park away from the camp ground and refused to listen to us. When the accomodation layout was not what we expected the staff were unhelpful and clearly not interested in understanding the problem. Cleaning staff were lovely though! Won’t be back, and wouldn’t recommend to others. Pay the extra and stay in a motel. You’ll get better service.
Arrowtown Holiday Park is convenient if you want to base yourself in the Queenstown area. That said, the facilities are only average compared to other parks, particularly because you’ll have to keep $1 coins handy to pay for a shower. Vehicles are parked quite close to each other, so you don’t get much privacy and you won’t get a view from your camper van despite the scenery in the general area being stunning.
The services were far below what should acceptable. I was very disappointing and found the service terrible. I cannot believe how grumpy the staff are. And soo lazy. Looks like the place hasn't been cleaned in years!
This park has some great large sites for campervans so you do not feel crowded or close together. The location is great, a short walk into Arrowtown. The shower block was very clean and tidy, although you had to pay $1 for a shower. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. We didn't use the kitchen or any of the other amentities but we would stay again if we were visiting Arrowtown
We travel the country alot and this is they only place we could not take our two little dogs that are always on a lead or in the bus.i do realize that is thier policy but somtimes the rules could be bent just a little.we would never go back with or without the dogs.
