My husband and I spent 10 days here and what a great place to stay we meet up with other family there and we had a cabin and the rest stayed in the lodge. The staff were great from start to finish made us very welcome and nothing was a bother. Location fantastic. Would highly recommend here we will all be back.

We picked our campervan up at the Britz office at the Queenstown airport. We reserved the first night at the Arrowtown Holiday Park because it wasn’t far from the Queenstown airport and we weren’t sure how far we would have to go to buy groceries. It turns out there is a Countdown grocery store minutes from the airport, so getting groceries was very easy. If we had to do it again, not sure we would have stayed at Arrowtown. I say that because we really would have liked to ‘be further down the road’ the first night. The Holiday Park is very nice. It has a nice kitchen and eating area. The bathhouse is clean and well-maintained. Only downside is that you have to use $1 coins for hot water. The location is good because it’s only a short walk into town. I would definitely

Im not one to write a poor review however was disappointed in our stay. Booked online a powered site and at check in was provided site number. Told that since I booked online i was able to have a concrete site near the ammenities. This was great since we were expecting heavy rain overnight (which is why we booked a holiday park campsite, to have a concrete site). Found our allocated site and then headed into town for dinner. On return found that our site had been taken and since the customer service had closed unable to do anything about it. We ended up having to park on the grass in the rain and almost got bogged. Spoke to employee in the morning apparently if people arrive after hours they are told to park where ever they can find a spot ?!? not sure what the point of being

We toured New Zealand in Feb 2019, driving more than 3000 miles and stopping at 15 different places, so are well placed to compare accommodation. All were pre-booked which with hindsight was wise as a lot of places had the No Vacancy sign up. We had decided to stay in Arrowtown rather than Queenstown which turned out to be a good decision. Queenstown was extremely busy – we visited for a couple of hours but that was enough for us. Arrowtown is a lovely little town with a bit of history. The holiday park is used for camping (motorhomes, caravans, tents) but there are also self-contained studio units and we had one of those. These were located near the park entrance so it wasn’t necessary to go into the camping area. I would describe the studio as a detached cabin/hut.
