This park is in a great town and is just a short walk to the town centre (5 minutes). The park is surrounded by snow capped mountains and is in a beautiful location. The park is very clean and the bathrooms are very clean and well maintained. We were staying with our two children in a motor home. The park is great and the kids had a great time playing and getting rid of some of their energy. My only fault is the price and then you have to pay a $1.00 to have a shower.
although we did get a very good rate, i still dont think it was cheep enough to be sleeping on stained bedding, to the extent of a farely fresh blood stained mattress protector. even the underside of the bedspread had stains. not good!!
Absolutely fantastic Caravan Park at Arrow Town. 7 star rating for infrastructure, security and arrangements. I would rate this park equal to 4 Seasons or the Ritz if there was a comparison for a Caravan Park. Well appointed rooms and cottages are available and it looks very good and modern. The best part was that the toilet flush even was running hot water. I am now at their Wanaka Caravan Park which is not as classy but will again book their Queenstown facility tonight for the next stop. Absolutely Fantastic
I was surprised to read a poor review of this motor camp. It is very modern (built in 2007) with very smart, clean and well equipped facilities, and the fees are in the same range that one might find in an average motor camp. Also Arrowtown is a very good base from which to explore the region and then have enjoyable evenings away from the rush of Queenstown. Highly recommended!
Started OK, checked in and was given “cabin” overlooking the sports field and settled in to watch a game of rugby from my veranda. We went out for a trip and on our return we were told to move to a different cabin because they had booked ours to someone else. Second “shed” was hot and cramped with nothing going for it, we checked out the next day.
