We stayed here 3 nights (instead of the intended 1) because we enjoyed Arrowtown so much. The campground is very conveniently placed to town, so we walked in easily. The facilities were super clean and modern which is such a bonus in campgrounds. We were so lucky it snowed while we were there as everything looked magical.

We are long term travellers and enjoy those out of the way places as we are self sufficient with solar etc, but we treat our selves occasionally with a campground. After a bit of research decided on Arrowtown Holiday Park. What a great choice, as they are currently running a special, pay for 2 stay for 3. Managers on reception were friendly and very helpful especially on things to do. Facilities are modern and spotless. #kiwisflythecoop

We decided to do an off season tour of the South Island to help businesses out where we can after Covid lockdown. Arrowtown Holiday Park is the only camping ground that we stayed at (total of 12 others) who didn't offer a discount and gave free wi-fi that lasted about half an hour! All other places gave a generous amount of free wi-fi that gave us ample time to check emails etc. Top price, pay for showers, cold air hand dryers - they need to get their act together. However, I guess they're the only camping ground in Arrowtown so have total market share. I doubt that we'll be back to stay here in the future.

My husband was a volunteer at the NZ Golf Open at Millbrook so we booked a site for 6 nights at the Arrowtown Holiday Park. We were traveling in an average size camper van. Friends had warned us that the sites were small and that camper vans were crammed in. For the first 2 days we had an empty site either side of us, and that gave us a good feeling, but the second part of our stay we had vans either side of us, and very little privacy, looking straight into next door's living area. However, we were very conveniently parked for the amenity blocks which were clean and well maintained. This was the most expensive holiday park we stayed at during our South Island trip, and then to have pay $1 for the daily shower was a bit much. The shower and toilet facilities were great and

We only stayed here one night on route to Mount Cook. The site is in a great location for the very pretty and interesting Arrowtown. It’s like something out of a film set, great place to visit, forget Queenstown. The RV park is fairly large, 200 spaces, quite boringly laid out in straight lines, but very functional, and clean. Shower blocks, toilets etc, again very clean, but annoyingly you have to pay separate for a shower, $1 in a machine in the cubicle for 6 minutes hot water..??? Come on, we’ve already paid to get into the park, do they really need to charge for a shower, that’s a bit pathetic.!! It’s only a 10 minute walk into Arrowtown for food etc, well worth the visit. I would recommend this site, just stop being so mean.
