Detailed Reviews
Absolutely brilliant place to stay, walking to the center of town. Big rooms and the bathroom was great, decent mirrors and lighting which is also not done well even in the big hotels, so well done.
Complimentary afternoon tea (cake and fruit), and then a bottle of wine and a cheese platter in the fridge, really nice touch and not done often enough these days. Breakfast was catered to you needs and cooked while you waited plus cereals toast juice etc. Very friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again. keep doing what you are doing as you are doing it well.

We stayed 4 nights and were absolutely delighted with Arrowtown House. The room was large, comfortably and tastefully furnished, the bathroom featured a large shower with oodles of instant hot water The smart TV was excellent (love that Netflix) with free WIFI as a bonus, and the king sized bed was just wonderful!!
Victoria (the Hotel Manager) served a sumptuous breakfast each day, and Steve the barista brought superb coffees. A bird feeding station in the tree right beside the dining room featured tui each day - so very close!
Victoria & Steve were both super friendly and went out out their way to help whenever we asked.
Highly recommended.

Beautiful private, spacious and comfortable room. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in!
Lovely extras such as a cheese board, wine & chocolates and most delicious breakfast provided in the beautiful lounge area.
We asked the hosts for help with organising several extra bits and pieces that we had sent to the Hotel for our stay and they couldn't have been more helpful. Excellent location, short stroll to Arrowtown Village. Loved it and hope to go back for our next anniversary!

f you want to be based in Arrowtown (with or without a car) the location of this hotel is a ten. The manager Victoria is helpful and welcoming, she is bound to suggest tips to help you enjoy your stay as much as possible. Breakfast has to be the best breakfast we have ever had in a hotel. We are fussy travelers and this hotel ticked all the boxes for us to recommend to friends.

Superb ! Great location , wonderful rooms , exceptional breakfast , generous and greatly appreciated gifts like wine cheese and chocolates . Everything is top quality . Many hotels label themselves as boutique and in many cases they are just jazzed up in a poor way with an inflated price . Not this one . If we return I wouldn’t stay anywhere else . This was the nicest hotel experience by a long shot in our three week tour of wonderful N Z .

The hotel only caters for adults and has only five rooms . The rooms are spacious with a comfortable living area and large ensuite with bath and shower.
The breakfasts were excellent and taken in the adjacent dining room that includes a comfortable lounge area.
The manager, Victoria couldn't have done more for us, nothing was too much trouble.
The hotel is a short, pleasant walk from Arrowtown where we experiences a couple of excellent restaurants and with Queenstown about a 15 minute drive away good restaurants abound.

A fabulous start to our New Zealand vacation. Full of character and very large room which even included a washing machine and tumble dryer! We were made most welcome right from the start, and the breakfast is of the highest quality. Arrowtown is much quieter and more relaxed than nearby Queenstown and that suited us perfectly. If you are looking for a place to stay that has all the advantages of being located near to Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu but offers quiet comfort, then you can’t do any better than stay here.

Cathy and Jason provided us with a near perfect 3 night stay in Arrowtown.
The room, facilities, cleanliness, breakfasts and welcome were hard to fault. The homemade cake available every afternoon when we came back from our daily exertions was very welcome too.
They provided us with top tips of places to eat and drink as well as activities and treks to do.
Thank you very much.

Great accommodation with the most luxurious linen. Sooooo comfortable.,everything is immaculately clean and the provision of a comfortable sitting area in our room with additional luxury of a washing machine and dryer. Makes life so easy!!!
