Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed in a studio room which has been the most spacious with the best amenities on our trip so far. Our room was very clean, modern and well maintained. It even had a spa bath. We would highly recommend Cumberland Court for a well appointed central motel. It's also very close to the hospital.

Stayed here one night with my partner and step daughter, we had a one bedroom apartment with big double bed and a single bed. bed was super comfy and the spa bath was hit with the step daughter. all facility's in the room were good and worked, the room was super clean and the owners were very nice when checking in and checking out. It is a very noisy street so you can hear the cars and we could hear the people next door when trying to go to sleep but it wasn't to bad manged to sleep through the noise, did wake up to a lot of bird noises as our room was next to a big tree. we really enjoyed our one night stay and would come back again :)

Beautiful room lovely spa fantastic owners but the room below partied until 4.14am. Not much slept for me but lucky my husband is deaf. 😊 would stay again because it was lovely and clean and central to most things. They even rung me to say my tooth brush was there. Great coffee shop right next door and a gas station on the other side

I stayed here with my mum for a weekend while on a visit to Horse of the Year, this was our second year staying here and last year’s stay was flawless however this year we did have a problem. I was informed when I booked that there is an extra person charge which I assumed meant if we had a 3rd person in the room. When I reconfirmed the reservation I was then informed that if we use the 2nd bed there is a $20 charge. As a travel agent I have never heard of this so neither me or my mum were happy with this. Their rooms are only really priced for couples or families not for a mother and daughter staying here. Last year when we stayed there we were not charged to use the 2nd bed so they obviously changed their policy within the last year and did not tell us. If it wasn’t for this I would have given them a 5 star rating.

Their rooms are good however slightly noisy. It was a little hard to get to sleep as if you have a room at the front you can hear everything as the rooms are not very soundproof. Another complaint I do have is that there is no fan in the bathroom which means I had to open the window or the bathroom and windows would fog up. The problem with opening the window is that there is a public carpark behind the hotel which meant anyone could look in. I probably won’t stay here again because of the extra charges and the noise that you get in the rooms. It is a very nice hotel but I don’t think it’s worth the price.

Very clean, tidy and loads of room, beds extremely comfortable, can't fault the hosts or inside the units, A +. The only grief is due to the location, on a very busy road, it is extremely noisy day and night. Not much sleep, wouldn't recommend for a quite weekend. No double glazing or noise control gib or cladding. You can hear conversations from inside with all doors and windows closed, let alone the traffic. Hospital and fire station very close. Might sound harsh but I wouldn't have stayed here if others were honest about that.

We have stayed here before and love this place, Its in a central location not far from everything. Good for Business people and the like.
The owners are the best, friendly and welcoming, after booking in shown to your room and we asked for a spa room. Always very clean and huge amount of space, ample room to walk around things without bumping into anything. Makes so much difference when carrying luggage. Its got electric blankets, a kitchenette, spa bath ideal for a couple, place for your suitcase to open at a good height, it's got a large bathroom with shower and a small heater on the wall with an added electric heater in room.
Like I said the place is fresh just been painted as we could smell a faint paint smell, its spotlessly clean and we will almost definitely be coming back here again in the future.
We had an upstairs room so no good for disabled with a wheelchair but downstairs is idea. Heaps of parking,
The only thing I can be sure to point out is be very careful when entering in your car as the cars tend to move quickly and you can drive straight past missing the entrance.

This was an absolute fantastic place to stay! We had an upstairs room which we thought was better. There was a spa bath at the end of the bed and they provided bubble bath to add to it! The whole apartment was extremely roomy and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfy. There was a lovely shaded outside sitting area in the garden. We were sorry to leave! Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much!
