Lovely rural location. Just three units on site - One separate studio unit (tea and coffee facilities only) with King size bed, two recliner chairs, small ensuite bathroom, flat screen TV, small verandah, courtyard and own parking and two self contained cottages with verandahs, orchards next door, only 5 km from Havelock North and 5 km from Hastings. Cottages have leather recliner chairs, comfortable beds, fridge/freezer, microwave, DVD players, SKY TV and aircon/heat pump unit. The two bedroom cottage has two ensuites, oven, gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine, a super king bed and a king size bed. One bedroom cottage has king bed in bedroom and bed sofa/mattresses available for lounge (extra charge). All units have air conditioning. On site outdoor seasonal swimming pool to enjoy (unheated).

My wife and I, and sister and her husband stayed at Bluebell Lodge and Cottage for four nights over Christmas 2013. It was perfect. My 96 year old mother came out daily from her rest home in Havelock North and the quiet and restful environment offered us everything we had wished for. The two bed roomed cottage had all amenities and was beautifully presented in all respects. Wi-Fi facility enabled us to Skype wider family in London on Christmas day and the kitchen setup was perfect to assemble a lovely Xmas dinner. Nothing was too much for our hosts. Their 2 bedroom unit was perfect for 2 couples, as both bedrooms had en-suite bathrooms, and between them was a large common living area. All the furniture and equipment was very new and of a high quality, and our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The ice cream was a nice touch.

We had a wonderful weekend here. Quiet, very friendly hosts. Lovely surroundings, Excellent location for Hawkes Bay . great Golf. Wines and Fruits. The cottages were well appointed, clean in a wonderful setting among the Orchards. looking forward to a return visit. Many thanks to our Hosts .. Carol and Max.
