Easy pleasant check in. Good sized unit with quite modern furnishings. Very tidy and clean bathroom and clean shower. Good number of TV channels. Useful kitchen utensils, microwave and so on. Handy location to the airport but a little bit out from the CBD of Nelson. Our rear unit had little traffic noise. Good lighting was a plus.
However the one thing that really grated with us was the fact that or our second day more milk for coffee was not complimentary. Strange really as the used coffee was replaced but not the milk. I was told at the office we would have to pay for it. When one considers the savings on linen and towel replacement/laundry cost when guests stay more than one night the savings by not providing a few sachets of long life milk are tiny. I have never been able to understand this parsimonious approach of a few motel owners. It has been years since I last experienced it. Maybe some readers might consider me to be nit picking but that approach really irritates me. I expect it will be some time before we experience it again.

Booked this accommodation by telephone. Booking procedure was very simple especially due to the personality of Robyn, an owner. I had recently had had a new hip replacement and Robyn promptly booked us in to a very appropriate unit which was greatly appreciated by my wife and myself. Made life much easier! The tariff was about what we had expected and had budgeted for. Unit was extremely clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. In fact for the first time in years, I slept at least 9 hours for each of the nights we were there. Keith, the other owner, also went out of his way to ensure our stay was a great success. Nothing was a bother to these two lovely, warm and friendly people. Cannot praise these people and their motels high enough. We had booked in for 3 nights and stayed for 4 plus we will be booking back in this time next year too.

It was a lovely 2 nights. Though it was in the middle of a busy intersection, it is quite at night (obviously) :) lovely host and very helpful. Rooms are spacious some details are kinda outdated but never really a bother. I love the shower and the pressure. Has everything. Was able to wash and dry our wet clothes coming from the beach so I have everything clean before packing up. They don’t have air conditioner for summer, was able to sleep but my kid keeps moving around due to heat. Forgot to ask about a fan. Overall will come back.

Booked 2 studios for 3 nights to complete work locally. Was told it was expensive due to town being busy with a concert. Accepted this however not at all happy to be asked after we had paid, to leave an hour earlier at 9am, so they could start cleaning. Asked for extra milk on the 2nd day, but was told what was in the room when you arrived, was all you got. Considering we were paying $300.00 per room per night, we do not feel the service we received was acceptable. They were nice rooms, but we will not be returning due to the poor service.

Practical for a stay, clean and has everything you'd need.

Found the owner trying to get in our room while we were still there and then returned from an outting to find her in there again seemingly annoyed about having to vaccuum (we had young children which I had informed her before we showed up). We left a day earlier than planned and paid for because we just did not feel comfortable or private.

Would not recommend for more than a day stay.

Comfortable and quiet room but getting a bit aged. Kelvinator fridge very noisy and had to turn it off in the night as it was cycling a lot and waking me up. Bed moderately comfortable.
Host very friendly and helpful. Had all facilities in working condition.
Good price value point.

Well priced and excellent value. Clean, modern and everything you need. Super friendly staff and clearly marked parking spaces for each unit.
Although address is Annesbrook Rd access is actually round the corner in Parkers Rd.
Well located for the airport and only a few minutes from local shops, the WOW museum and Tahunanui.
Definitely will rebook next time in Nelson.
Totally recommend
