One of our favourite accommodation places in NZ. Can recommend the kiwi welcome, clean rooms and a good nights sleep. Stroll across the road for a great dinner or supermarket suppplies. Central location between Nelson and Richmond - close to Saxton Sports Fields.

We were there for one night and enjoyed our stay. The room wasn't large, but those that think this was small haven't been to New York. The sun was out and it was late in the day, so we made use of the outdoor seating near the entrance to have a drink. The host was pleasant. Location is near restaurants and supermarkets. Very clean

I'm late in posting this, as my husband and I stayed there in February 2019 when we had to evacuate our home due to a wildfire. It was a stressful time for us, but Jane and Gary were so accommodating and welcoming. Staying there was a respite from the chaos of our fire-ravaged property. Our studio room was clean, well-appointed, and very comfortable. There was even a small garden outside our room with outdoor seating. The hotel is in a convenient location, too. We would definitely recommend staying there!
