Amazing service from start to finish. The room we asked for was perfect, plenty of toiletries, nice outdoor area, clean , clean, clean!! The lady at reception made our arrival easy, the Motor lodge is only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Nelson. Which was awesome for us as we had travelled from Kaitaia. Will stay next time we are down there and we highly recommend. Thank you

A nearby motel canceled our booking at very late notice and the lovely couple at Cedar Court pulled out all the stops to provide us with a couple of excellent rooms. We were very grateful and would heartily recommend this business to anyone looking for superior accommodation close to town. Additionally Tracy gave us a great cafe recommendation.

We couldn't fault Cedar Grove. Our suite was spotlessly clean, spacious and had everything we required for a comfortable stay. It was great to relax on its sunny balcony. The owners were friendly and helpful. It is an easy walk to everything in town.

We stayed at Cedar Grove before and after doing the Abel Tasman coast track. The accommodation is clean, well cared for and comfortable. We had two two-bedroom units, which was plenty of space for us all, with comfortable living spaces to relax. The motor lodge is very handy to town - within easy. flat walking distance to some excellent restaurants, the shops and a supermarket. Tracey was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Cedar Grove for 5 nights in a suite with a spa bath. From check in until check out we had one of the best experiences yet in a motel in NZ. The place was spotless; the suite had a large open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. The bedroom was separate with plenty of storgage space; comforable bed and good pillows. The bathroom was a good size with a spa bath (we don't usually use these but gave it a go and it was great), toiletries provided were lovely. For 5 nights we had a relaxing stay, the extra space made a big difference after a long day out exploring. A full kitchen was good for the nights in, as we were on the top floor we had a balcony which caught the setting sun. Would stay here again.

Stayed in a 1 bedroom downstairs unit. Lots of space, large living area, plenty room in bathroom. Chairs and table in outside patio. Just a block away from the main city, nice riverwalk around Matai River in both directions. Friendly staff upon arrival and during our 2 day stay.

Thank you so much George and Lynds for a great stay. The room provided exceeded expectations. Check in was seemless and i thoroughly enjoyed the good chat about Marlborough places to visit. Linkwater and Renwick are on the agenda for the next trip. Your maintenance man, Peter; seemed like a lovely young man, he even made me blush talking about the roses outside of the rooms :) I loved the energy, the service and the room was great. I look forward to a visit again soon I hope. Chloe

We spent two nights here and we were very impressed. Our unit was large and most comfortable. Super clean as well. Loved the decent sized wine glasses! Great for trying that special bottle of wine purchased during a wine trail! Will be back!

We called in here as it had good street appeal and was a good location. The host was very helpful and welcoming. Gave us great advice for dinner venues. Had a downstairs studio room which was spacious and quiet. An easy walk to shops and restaurants. A great place.
