My husband and I stayed one night in this motel so we didn't have to drive home after a special occasion. We were very warmly welcomed by the owners. Our room was perfect, spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished, with a couple of lounge chairs and space to sit at a table area, as well as table and chairs on the little patio outside. The linens on the very comfortable king bed were fresh and of excellent quality. Our bathroom had a large shower with great water pressure. Even thought the motel complex was full, it was very quiet and we heard no neighbor noise. The location is brilliant, with parking right outside our unit. Thank you for a great stay.

Just spent 3 nights at Cedar Grove Motor lodge, what a fantastic stay, great unit, very clean and modern, walking distance to town. We arrived and there were chocolates on our bed, mints in our room to nibble on, little Cooke time biscuits and a great selection of tea's and coffee. They went the extra mile. What a comfortable, relaxing stay, we will be back.

We stayed at Cedar Grove for 5 nights in a suite with a spa bath. From check in until check out we had one of the best experiences yet in a motel in NZ. The place was spotless; the suite had a large open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. The bedroom was separate with plenty of storgage space; comforable bed and good pillows. The bathroom was a good size with a spa bath (we don't usually use these but gave it a go and it was great), toiletries provided were lovely. For 5 nights we had a relaxing stay, the extra space made a big difference after a long day out exploring. A full kitchen was good for the nights in, as we were on the top floor we had a balcony which caught the setting sun. Would stay here again.

A nearby motel canceled our booking at very late notice and the lovely couple at Cedar Court pulled out all the stops to provide us with a couple of excellent rooms. We were very grateful and would heartily recommend this business to anyone looking for superior accommodation close to town. Additionally Tracy gave us a great cafe recommendation.

Located across the river from the center of town, the hotel is very close to the restaurants and shops, but nice and quiet. There Beautiful views of sunset on the bridge! Room was large and comfortable, with well stocked kitchenette, with coffee, sugar, tea and milk provided. Washer and dryer are available for a fee. Very helpful staff, reserved me a taxi to get to the airport (did not seem to be any other way to get to Nelson’s airport).
Wonderful stay! Will definitely recommend it!

Amazing service from start to finish. The room we asked for was perfect, plenty of toiletries, nice outdoor area, clean , clean, clean!!
The lady at reception made our arrival easy, the Motor lodge is only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Nelson. Which was awesome for us as we had travelled from Kaitaia. Will stay next time we are down there and we highly recommend. Thank you

Great location, modern and clean. We were very comfortable in the 2 bedroom unit. Very quiet with a nice little back deck. Very helpful owners allowed us to store our luggage while doing the Abel Tasman walk (we returned to stay with them as well). They were doing a few repairs on the bathroom ceiling, but that did not affect our stay. Easy walk to cafes and restaurants. Nice sized kitchenette.
Would definitely stay again!

We stayed at Cedar Grove before and after doing the Abel Tasman coast track. The accommodation is clean, well cared for and comfortable. We had two two-bedroom units, which was plenty of space for us all, with comfortable living spaces to relax.
The motor lodge is very handy to town - within easy. flat walking distance to some excellent restaurants, the shops and a supermarket.
Tracey was incredibly helpful and accommodating.
Highly recommend.
