Amazingly friendly place and people. The staff are helpful and talkative. The rooms are well heated, clean and very spacious. The free breakfast is good and the $10 meal in the evening is more than worth the money.

Prince Albert Backpacker's has it all, amazing outdoor and indoor lounge areas, spacious rooms, fast WIFI, a pub style bar on site, breakfast, and amazing staff. The only down side is the kitchen is a bit small, in saying this they offer fantastic dinner deals at the pub that more then make up for the small kitchen. I wish I...

As a single older traveler, I was completely thrilled with my stay here. My room was modern, very clean, with an ensuite at a wonderful price. The outdoor areas and bar were clean, with friendly staff, and the hostel was close to the main downtown area. A free continental breakfast was an added bonus. A real gem for more than...

The title 'backpackers" can conjure up a negative image so what a surprise this hotel was. Clean, quiet in a nice locality. The multi taskers, Mike and Greg, were delightful, efficient and helpful. Our room had an on suite; fresh linen and spotlessly clean and the breakfast was generous. The back packer section is situated at the rear of the...

We stayed only one nigh at Prince Albert and I say that sadly. We had a lovely room in a good location with great facilities. We wish that we had had more time to enjoy the pub and the outdoor patio. I have no hesitation about recommending the Prince Albert.

The room with its en suite and the facilities are all really nice and it's close to walk to town, with plenty of parking. Great to get free breakfast too. The only thing that spoilt it was AI was not lucky with my dorm mates who thought it was ok to talk at any time of day or night

Truly a great bang for your buck! Clean rooms, clean bathrooms, excellent WiFi, generous breakfast and a late check out - what more could you want as a traveler? The hosts were very accommodating and even helped us find accommodation for the next night when they were booked.

My friend and I chose Prince Albert because of the great reviews about service, and were surprised to have a very different experience. We found the owner was incredibly rude towards us. When we arrived mid-morning the owner seemed a bit grumpy and tired, and not very keen to interact with us. When we returned early eve to move into...

I spent one week in a double room and really enjoyed my stay! The staff is very friendly, the food is excellent, it's very close to the center but quiet, has a laundry, kitchen, wifi, barbecue, bikes - everything you could possibly need, even waffles for breakfast :-)

We were four friends travelling and we got an ensuite room for us. It was really clean and comfy. We were really wellcomed by the owner and he was all the time worried if everything was ok with us. The breakfast was really nice and organised. I will definetely recommend this place for other friends.
