I had high hopes for this place with all the great reviews, but for me it wasn't for me. The room we stayed in looked very clean but it smelled like pot and definitely is a hazard for people with allergies. Me and my companions were all congested from something lurking in the room. We were told it had recently...

I loved this place. The staff was really friendly, room was basic but nice. They have free breakfast that was a great one. The location is around 10 minutes walk from downtown, pretty good. Free wi-fi, only the kitchen that was pretty small.

The people there, owners and staff alike, couldn't be more helpfull and genuinely nice. The location is central, and is well know by drivers...

The rooms are nice and clean. Each room has its own bathroom. Cool outside area, good kitchen and laundry facilities. Good WiFi, best breakfast so far in a hostel and bikes to rent. The staff is ultra fiendly, the receptionist showed me everything and got me to my room. Very good!

We didn't stay at the backpackers as we live locally but My husband and I decided to try out the Prince Albert Bar and Brasserie for our weekly date night dinner. We originally had gone for the roast of the day which is a very reasonable $21 including a desert, initially we were a bit gutted that at 6.30pm the...

One of the best back Packers I have stayed in. Amazing breakfast and brilliant lunch/ dinner menu for $10. Although we are a couple and not back Packers I would highly recommend the Prince Albert as a place to stay in Nelson
